More Right Racism

From Bill O'Idiot yet again (courtesy of crookandliars.com)

Bill O'Reilly: But do you understand what the New York Times wants, and the far-left want? They want to break down the white, Christian, male power structure, which you're a part, and so am I, and they want to bring in millions of foreign nationals to basically break down the structure that we have. In that regard, Pat Buchanan is right. So I say you've got to cap with a number.

The "white, christian, male power structure"?? Oh my god what the hell is he on? I don't know how much more proof on the racist right I can give but good god that is one of the most stupidest things I've heard. And when the liar claims he is misquoted (which he will) these are his words without being edited.

Odd

You know I always find right-wingers odd but here is further proof: Right-wingers always seem to get into a fit when liberal-leaning actors/actresses say anything they will always disagree with them no matter how right they are and when right-wing actors/actresses speak they worship them. For instance probable Republican Presidential Candidate Fred Thompson. He did very little as a Republican Senator (compared to McCain and other front-runners) yet he is being deemed the front-runner if he runs for President. I mean it's not just him though we can go throughout Republican history and their Hollywood history in terms of pollitics and they just blindly support them. From Reagan who they claim is the greatest President (which is wrong) to our gov. Arnold to Sonny Bono. Just find it odd how they bash Hollywood repeatedly. Just shows as usual what hypocrites they are but again what else is new.

Makes you wonder

So is George Bush on the side of the American people or what? http://commonsense.ourfuture.org/e_coli_conservatism_19_ne_plus_ultra

With this article your president is fighting testing for mad cow disease for American Cows. I mean I guess who would want that because you know it wouldn't affect much accept our food supply and who needs to eat right?

Why are we here?

I'd like to post a comment from a soldier in Iraq. This is required reading. Here is the link http://www.niemanwatchdog.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=background.view&backgroundid=00182

BAGHDAD, May 12 -- My name is Donald Hudson Jr. I have been serving our country’s military actively for the last three years. I am currently deployed to Baghdad on Forward Operating Base Loyalty, where I have been for the last four and a half months.

I came here as part of the first wave of this so called "troop surge", but so far it has effectively done nothing to quell insurgent violence. I have seen the rise in violence between the Sunni and Shiite. This country is in the middle of a civil war that has been on going since the seventh century.

Why are we here when this country still to date does not want us here? Why does our president’s personal agenda consume him so much, that he can not pay attention to what is really going on here?

Let me tell you a story. On May 10, I was out on a convoy mission to move barriers from a market to a joint security station. It was no different from any other night, except the improvised explosive device that hit our convoy this time, actually pierced through the armor of one of our trucks. The truck was immediately engulfed in flames, the driver lost control and wrecked the truck into one of the buildings lining the street. I was the driver of the lead truck in our convoy; the fifth out of six was the one that got hit. All I could hear over the radio was a friend from the sixth truck screaming that the fifth truck was burning up real bad, and that they needed fire extinguishers real bad. So I turned my truck around and drove through concrete barriers to get to the burning truck as quickly as I could. I stopped 30 meters short of the burning truck, got out and ripped my fire extinguisher out of its holder, and ran to the truck. I ran past another friend of mine on the way to the burning truck, he was screaming something but I could not make it out. I opened the driver’s door to the truck and was immediately overcome by the flames. I sprayed the extinguisher into the door, and then I saw my roommate’s leg. He was the gunner of that truck. His leg was across the driver’s seat that was on fire and the rest of his body was further in the truck. My fire extinguisher died and I climbed into the truck to attempt to save him. I got to where his head was, in the back passenger-side seat. I grabbed his shoulders and attempted to pull him from the truck out the driver’s door. I finally got him out of the truck head first. His face had been badly burned. His leg was horribly wounded. We placed him on a spine board and did our best to attempt "Buddy Aid". We heard him trying to gasp for air. He had a pulse and was breathing, but was not responsive. He was placed into a truck and rushed to the "Green Zone", where he died within the hour. His name was Michael K. Frank. He was 36 years old. He was a great friend of mine and a mentor to most of us younger soldiers here.

Now I am still here in this country wondering why, and having to pick up the pieces of what is left of my friend in our room. I would just like to know what is the true reason we are here? This country poses no threat to our own. So why must we waste the lives of good men on a country that does not give a damn about itself? Most of my friends here share my views, but do not have the courage to say anything.

Damn you George Bush. Damn you.

Pathetic

As I watch Bush "honor" soldiers by visiting their graves I wonder how pathetic it is how the American Public are not allowed to see dead soldiers coming home from Iraq. All 3400 of them.

Huh?

So in today's column in the Los Angeles Daily News Bill O'Idiot asks the following question: Do you believe Tony Blair or Jane Fonda regarding the Iraq War. Well taking a look at the facts of the Iraq War the answer is quite simple: Not Tony Blair. Not George Bush and not anyone who supports this nightmare from the beginning. Again let me state the facts.

Weapons of Mass Distruction: none
Attacked us on 9/11: no
Ties to Al Queda: None til we got there

So as usual Bill O'Idiot doesn't look at the facts. What else is new.

Wrong Blame

http://www.abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory?id=3211898

Here is exactly what's wrong with today's society. We have St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Josh Hancock, who was killed while drunk in an auto accident, and even though he was drunk as I said that isn't stopping his father from suing the Restaurant that served him, the tow-truck that he hit and the driver of the stalled vehicle that the tow-truck was hooking up.

I'm sorry no one told Hancock to start drinking. It's also Hancock's OWN RESPONSIBILITY to know if he is impared to not drive. People need to accept responsibility for their actions but look at the lack of example at the top for that.

Wondering

Just wondering why vote? After the betrayal of Democrats in giving into Bush and giving the bastard everything he wants why bother voting if nothing will be done. I'm so disgusted and dismayed right now it's not funny so I ask again why bother if THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE WANT OUR TROOPS HOME and everyone is ignoring the people?

Gas Prices

I've been curious on gas prices. We know they are outrageouss. We know the oil companies are price gauging but I was curious on how they rate blue states vs red states.

http://www.fuelgaugereport.com/sbsavg.asp
http://www-personal.umich.edu/~mejn/election/

So let's compare (this is average price per gallon)

Texas (Red State) $3.08
California (Blue State) $3.44

Florida (Red State) $3.13
New York (Blue State) $3.21

Ohio (Blue State) $3.22
Kentucky (Red State) $3.18

Those are just a few. But I find that quite interesting how it seems red states are paying less then blue states.

O'Idiot

So today Bill O'Idiot (in his column in the Los Angeles Daily News) talks about Barry Bonds accusing him of cheating (taking steroids) his approaching the home run record set by Hank Aaron. Now here is my thing with that. First for full disclosure I am a Dodgers fan and hate with a passion Barry Bonds and the San Francisco Giants. But there are a couple of points with Barry Bonds.

A) He has never tested positive for steroids
B) He hasn't been convicted yet of any crime

Now until any of those things happen he will have my support in the chase. There are suspicions but that's not proof or facts.

But it doesn't stop O'Idiot from saying he cheated.

huh?

I use that term a lot when it comes to the right-wing but these two items take the cake. There are two columns that are pretty much the same BS that they like to say but I am going to call the lies that they are saying and replace them with facts.

First on Tuesday Jonah Goldberg's column in the Los Angeles Times. He said how the left is paranoid after 9/11. He claims that how the left all feels Bush knew and let 9/11 happen. Well the fact is (something I have consistantly stated here) Bush DID know an attack was coming. He DID know Bin Laden was planning an imminent attack and chose to do nothing. Those are undisputable facts. Bush decided to do nothing to prevent the attacks and that's where we are now.

Second we have Thomas Sowell's column in today's Los Angeles Daily News. He states how the left governs out of anger, not logic. I don't even know where to begin here. Anger.. How about how the right does nothing but bully and tries to intimidate the left how the right has DONE NOTHING TO PREVENT ATTACKS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN how THE RIGHT does EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to blame, bully, intimidate to anything to try TO SCARE THE LEFT into doing anything they want. The right does that not the left.

A Coward After All

So it turns out Prince Harry of England won't be serving in Iraq after all. He joins the many politicians (on both sides of the isle)who support the war in Iraq but when it comes down to their turn they pass. Typical.

Bad Rubbish

I know when people die usually not much is said bad about them. I can't think of a more perfect exception then Jerry Falwell.

This is the man who said

"I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way, all of them who have tried to secularize America," Falwell said after 9/11, although he later apologized. "I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen.'"

Falwell once also referred to AIDS as "the wrath of a just God against homosexuals."

http://rawstory.com/news/2007/Evangelist_Falwell_found_unconscious_in_office_0515.html
http://www.americablog.com/search/label/jerry%20falwell

The second one has Falwell's greatest hits. The world will be a better place without hate freaks like him. Good bye and good riddance to bad rubbish.

Steroids

You know I like to talk sports once in a while and I'd like to ask a couple of questions:

With the players who are being investigated (mind you no one that has been accused has tested positive yet) I'm just wondering why no owners have been asked to testify before the senate and before Sam Mitchell? Remember in his book (while crucified turned out to be pretty accurate) Jose Canseco said how George Bush new the players were taking steroids and chose at that time (as ever owner has done before and has continued to do) to ignore the problem.

And Robert I'm not blaming Bush for this I'm using him as the example from the book.

Coincidence

Has anyone besides me noticed besides me whenever it seems that when they show how low Bush's approval ratings are there seems to be an arrest for an alleged terror plot then you NEVER seem to hear about it again? Take a look this week at the alleged arrest (mind you we don't know much about them like we did after the 9/11 attacks) of terror suspects and an alleged plot of an attack at Fort Dix (which if what the right-wing media claimed sounded really stupid at that).

I'm not saying that it wasn't in the planning stages but it seems like this happens all the time with Bush.

Just Wondering

I see where Cheney pulled a "suprise visit" to the troops in Iraq. Just wondering why he decided not to take a stroll after all he said he would be welcomed as a liberator and people would throw flowers at his feet!

More from Bush

You know how often I call right-wingers racist (I feel very accurately based on the quotes and actions I have provided) and I would like to continue on to your President George Bush. Here (thanks to thinkprogress.org) is experts from a speech HIS NEW APPOINTEE for the U.S. Agency for International Development said in a speech in 1987. Keep in mind Bush appointed her in a very significant role:

Fore’s remarks came from a speech she gave at Wellesley University in 1987. Here’s how a Feb. 12, 1987 New York Times article covered that speech:

A Wellesley College trustee’s remark that blacks preferred pushing drugs to working in a factory has precipitated an emotional debate on this bucolic campus already grappling with charges of racial insensitivity

The trustee, Henrietta Holsman, a 1970 graduate of Wellesley who runs a manufacturing concern in Los Angeles, resigned from the board last weekend after apologizing for her comments, which also cast aspersions on the work ethic of Hispanic and white employees. But in a letter to the college newspaper, Ms. Holsman reiterated her statement that she had trouble keeping black assembly-line workers from going “back to the street to earn more money” selling drugs

In her lecture, Ms. Holsman also said she had found Hispanic workers to be lazy, white workers resentful of having to work with machines, and Asians, while very productive, likely to move on to professional or management jobs.

A question answered and defening silence

Well we have an answer on who terrorists are cheering for in Iraq and that's George W. Bush and NOT the Democrats despite what George W. Bush and the right-wing media claim. If anyone saw the last tape they said they want more troop there to kill them all. So much for who's tough on terror.

And on a second note on the right-wing media has anyone besides me noticed the deafening silence from the right-wing media on Sec. Rice's trip to Syria?? I sure have. Shouldn't there be equal outrage as there was for ONLY DEMOCRAT SPEAKER PELOSI? I think there should be because if Pelosi is speaking with the enemy which is what the media said the Rice is doing the SAME EXACT THING!

Slimeball Debate

So I finally had the stomach to watch the Republican Debate that was on last Thursday and I was outraged at one specific question (of course I was outraged at the whole Reagan suck up event) that was asked by whifleball moderator Chris Matthews:

"Would it be good for America to have Bill Clinton back in the White House?"

Now I don't know why the GOP is always obsessed with Bill Clinton. I realize his "affairs" were embarrassing BUT if you wanna bring it up why not ask Gulliani and McCain about there private personal lives including Gulliani's affair with a woman who was living at Gracie Mansion while he was still married and McCain's rumor about fathering a child with an african american woman and if Gingrich enters the race his numerous affairs. But he didn't of course cause he is soft.

And note I said rumor about McCain because that's all it is right now.

Melee again

I again want to talk about the mini-riot that was on Tuesday here.

I've heard interviews with the protesters who said how the police overreacted and should not have fired rubber bullets and used their batons against the protesters and while the LAPD might have overreacted keep again in mind the following:

A) The Protesters started the mess by throwing rocks and bottles at the police

B) SOME of the protesters were already breaking the law for being in this country illegally

Keep that in mind.

On a side note there is an op-ed piece in the Los Angeles Times today about how the police should not be enforcing laws regarding illegal aliens. Isn't that part of the job??

What an idiot

Ladies and Gentlemen your President: (From Americablog)

"You thought I was kind of doing one of these -- (laughter) -- Washington, D.C. dodges. (Laughter.) I talk to a lot of families who have got a loved one in Iraq or Afghanistan, or anywhere else in this global war on terror, and they are in constant communication with their loved one. That's amazing, isn't it. You've got a kid in Iraq who is emailing mom daily, talking about the realities of what he or she sees. Information is moving -- you know, nightly news is one way, of course, but it's also moving through the blogosphere and through the Internets. It's amazing how many emails I see from people that are writing in what they think and what they hear."

Internets?? He needs speech lessions.

Stand Firm

I'm sending this to Democratic members of Congress and The Senate: PLEASE STAND FIRM! Do not give into the bullying of Bush and his cronies, do not give into the right-wing media do not give into anything but what A MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE WANT which is an end to this war and an end to the death and destruction THAT BUSH CREATED! Please stand firm I'm begging you.

Mission Accomplished?

Since the publicity stunt and the banner that said 4 years ago Mission Accomplished (White House's own idea) over 3000 troops have died. Nice job George and if ANYONE says that it's ANYONE but Bush's doing (both the publicity stunt on the aircraft carrier and the fact the soldiers deaths are on his hands) you better have proof. We have NO REASON TO BE IN IRAQ! I said it then I say it now. My proof is the dead soldiers.
