More Right Wing Lies

It's funny with all the talk about how the Republicans are the "party of values and morals" and the bs that is when they have a chance to back it up they ALWAYS cave. For instance the ethics bill that just passed the House and is heading for the Senate is going to be blocked by Ted Stevens (R, Alaska).

Odd thing is Ted Stevens is yet another Republican who had his house raided by the FBI and IRS yesterday.

Some values.

Cowards

Showing once again that they are either afraid to embrace technology or unwilling to face the people like myself who will actually ask question that are important to them instead of the softball questions they normally get asked by the media who supports them blindly most Republicowards are pulling out of their scheduled You Tube debate in September.

I guess that makes sense for them because they don't know how to react to real questions. Again proving what cowards they are.

Michael Moore

While on the Jay Leno Show Michael Moore said he was served a subpoena by the Bush Administration. His crime: Taking three 9/11 workers who are ill to Cuba to try to get them something the Bush Administration won't provide for these heroes which is healthcare.

Now since the Bush Administration seems to think they could ignore subpoena's given to them I think Michael Moore should give the finger to Bush (as do most sane people) and ignore the subpoena as well.

Class

Another quick sports take here since I might not be able to post much this weekend. I wanna give congrats to Cal Ripken Jr. and Tony Gwynn for being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on Saturday. They played the game with dignity and class and I couldn't be prouder as a baseball fan for these two players.

Congrats again it's a well deserved honor.

Questions

Since the fascinating YouTube Democratic debate I decided to submit a few questions for the Republican debate. I'm going to share them with you. I feel these are legitimate questions that are important today. Hopefully one will be picked:

1) Are you going to continue the war in Iraq or are you going to do what a majority of the American People, Iraqi People and Iraqi Government want and bring the troops home?

2) Why is Iraq linked to 9/11 when the 9/11 commission said they are not linked?

3) Sen. McCain on a recent trip to Bagdad, you were surrounded by troops, Black Hawk Helicopters and Snipers claiming how safe it was there. Do you regret that statement given how many people are being killed there?

4) Why do you continue to reject science with global warming as well as stem-cell research?

5) Why do you feel there should be a constitutional ban on gay marriage when that should be a state issue?

6) Why was the President allowed to run up such a deficit?

7) Why do you consider yourself to be the party of values when there are more Republicans under investigation/indictment for breaking laws and there are also more Republicans then Democrats involved in sex-scandels?

Point Shaving

With the revelation of the referee shaving points in the NBA (I won't give him headlines by saying his name you can look it up) I'd like to say the following: I think point shaving goes on more then we will ever know by not just referees but players as well. I can point out things where it looks odd to me but I have no proof so that would be misleading.

Bill O'Idiot

So Bill O'Idiot asks yet again if Osama Bin Laden is still a threat to the United States in his column in the Los Angeles Daily News today. If he bothered to read the National Intelligence Estimate he would have found that answer to be a resounding YES!

After since Bush failed to catch the person responsible for 9/11 and failed to make a dent into Alqueda (since again if he read it he would see how Al Queda has grown back to it's level before 9/11) they are still a threat and if Bush took it seriously he would address it. But since Bush doesn't care about the security of the American People or the attacks of 9/11 (again since he failed to get the person responsible) nothing will change.

I hope Democrats use this against the Republicans in the election.

An Idea to ease traffic

First before I get to my idea to ease traffic in Los Angeles I'm convinced nothing will stop traffic as long as there are cars on the road. This is an idea that may or may not help but it's better in my opinion then I am hearing from the Los Angeles City Council and Mayor. Now I also understand that people will bitch about this as they complain about every solution given no matter how much/little it makes sense and yet they will also complain about traffic as well. This specifically deals with the westside.

A) Build the Red Line Subway along Wilshire Blvd to Santa Monica (something I know being talked about).

B) Build a subway line that will connect the Green Line which ends near LAX along Sepulvida Blvd. north until it eventually connects with the Busway which is here in the San Fernando Valley. Again while that won't stop traffic on the 405 but that will ease it some.

If there is anything else that anyone would like to add please feel free.

Proving it more

Proving again how much cowardice the Catholic Church is instead of having Cardinal Roger Mahoney testify they settled the child molestation suit for a record $660 million dollars.

This proves what a stupid and inaccurate lifestyle they choose to live with all the petifiles they have.

The Catholic Church is nothing but frauds for allowing this to happen to innocent children to begin with.

O'Idiot

When I got home on Friday night I had trouble falling asleep so I put on Bill O'Idiot's show. Suprisingly he wasn't there and the host saying he was working on a hot story which was the following:

Evil Jetblue Airlines sponsoring the yearly Kos convention in Chicago this year. The reason they are evil: Daily Kos (the main people involved) is a liberal website.

Now someone correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Jetblue have the right to sponsor whatever the hell they want I mean how would peope like O'Idiot feel if I decided to slam all of his sponsors? Which I won't.

Just wondering.

Lies and damn lies

After reading Robert's misinformation about global warming on his website I have to respond. You see I feel people who live in denial of problems of the world are why nothing gets done. I listen to the hundreds of scientists who believe global warming is an issue that should be tackled today instead of years down the line. But that's one person's opinion. I have a few bullet points here and I'm not going to get into the exact science because that's for people smarter then me.

Is global warming a problem today?

Can it be years from now?

What can be done today to prevent the problem both today and in the future?

Is the technology available to combat it today?

What will happen if nothing is done?

Again though this also continues my point on how the right continues to ignore science and always seems to reject it.

Makes You Wonder

Makes you wonder what's been done with the BILLIONS of TAXPAYER dollars with the bumper sticker slogan War on Terror that Bush created which has resolved in NOTHING. Al Queda is just as strong as they were prior to 9/11/01. Bush has done nothing but create MORE TERRORISTS! MORE TERRORISTS! IF this doesn't prove the stupidity of the Bush Administration I don't know what is.

Legal Question

So in Sara Taylor's appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee she said the President asked her not to answer any questions. Now I'm not a lawyer so I am asking anyone who might be out there: Since she is no longer an employee of the White House can Bush do that? Isn't that obstruction of justice? Can She of Bush be charged with anything since she is no longer an employee?

And Bush ordered Supreme Court nominee reject Harriet Myers to do the same thing.

So many laws have been broken here it's pathetic that anyone supports this asshole.

Reality

After hearing Sec. Chertoff's claim of another possible terror attack I'd like to give a lesson of reality here.

A) We know this is just another distraction from the disaster of the administration

B) Nothing can really be done to prevent another terror attack from happening. I say that because if you take a look at countries who really take security of it's citizens seriously, terror attacks happen. Now in a country like ours who doesn't take security seriously (sorry right wingers that's a fact) attacks are going to happen here no matter what steps are claimed to be taken by the joke of an administration.

Sorry that's the bottom line.

What More Does He Want?

I'm wondering in todays Los Angeles Daily News Column what more does Bill O'Idiot want? He talks about how the media downplays terror I wish I knew what media he talks about when he sees this.

Take a look just at the previous week. We had wall to wall coverage on the potential attacks in London and the car fire attack in Scotland. Whenever there is a "threat" we get non stop coverage whether it's real or a political ploy by Bush (which most of them are and if you wanna see proof on that look up Keith Olbermann's Nexxus of terror which demonstrates how Bush uses terror to deflect bad things he does otherwise). If anything the media overplays terror not downplays.

Especially since the media does Bush's bidding for him.

But as I always say I live in reality not fantasy like he does.

More Rights Gone

It's funny how Bush gets away with everything. The latest is an appeals court which ruled how it's ok for his wiretapping program because "no one can prove it". Now I'm sorry I hear odd things on my phone lately and I think I am being tapped. No Government should be allowed to run roughshot on the people as Bush is.

This is really a dictatorship now.

An interesting question

Since False News is usually a cure for insomnia for me I fell asleep to a question they posed on the late night show they have Red Eye and I wished I saw the answer.

The question was: Is not having fireworks on the Fourth of July unpatriotic?

To me the answer is no. The reason I say that is because the Fourth of July is not about Fireworks it's about celebrating the birth of our country. How you celebrate it is up to you but fireworks is something if you wanna do it's up to you.

That's not saying I'm not going to not watch fireworks tomorrow cause I am but that's not what the day is about.

At least that's what I think.

Even Sadder

To no surprise Bush PARDONED Libby even though he was CONVICTED of obstuction of justice and purgery. Isn't this the same person (Bush) who said how anyone associated with the Valerie Plame leak would be prosecuted? Isn't this the same person (Bush)who is supposed to be heavy into national security which was VIOLATED in this case? And why haven't charges been brought up against Bush and Cheney in this case because every sane person knows they authorized this.

But then again Bush has forgot about the person responsible for attacking us on 9/11 too hasn't he?

Sad

In Bill O's comments in the Los Angeles Daily News today he goes on to talk about the bad that was the Summer of Love. That's right he doesn't like it claiming how it encouraged drugs and sex and rock 'n' roll.

First sex drugs and rock 'n' roll were around long before 1967. Long before in fact it continues today. Second that's NOT what the Summer of Love encouraged. The Summer of Love encouraged peace, harmony and love toward all beings. I realize people on the right don't really understand those things because if you look at the hate they preach.

Now do people still use drugs have sex and listen to rock 'n' roll? Of course. I guess since Bill O' probably never has had sex he thinks no one should. I don't know that's speculation on my part but he definately doesn't understand what the summer of love was all about.
