way to much

This is ONLY a New Jersey issue. Of course Christie new about the bridge closing. Shit like that happens more too many times. Only reason it's going national is because if Christie runs for President as a not insane Republican he would more then likely win.

Really

There are so many ego's in the Republican party they had to have 4 responses to the State of the Union yesterday??

http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/multiple-gop-responses-to-state-of-the-union-are-they-a-sign-of-party-division/2014/01/28/0d1c68c0-883b-11e3-916e-e01534b1e132_story.html

Imagine the outrage if it was the other way.

What should be done

This is something long overdue. President Obama needs to label groups like the NRA a TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. As we have ANOTHER MASS SHOOTING, this time in a mall near Baltimore the NRA does nothing but promote VIOLENCE against the citizens of the United States.

This is what needs to be done

Talking Steriods

I'm not a fan of Alex Rodriguez. I truly THINK he did as accused of steroids. It's my opinion and only that. However I think that Major League Baseball IS WRONG in this case. According the the collective bargaining agreement it clearly states that the only way a player could be suspended is if he tested positive. And the rules of the suspension are shown as the 1st time 25 games, 2nd time 50 games 3rd time you are out of the game.

That being said since AROD never tested positive, MLB has no right to suspend him.

Double Standard

I'd like to talk about the double standards from the right wing of this country. First I'd like to give a statement that drug addict Limbaugh said:

LIMBAUGH: So the states, when you've got people like Holder and Obama in office, it doesn't matter what governors do, it doesn't matter what the people of the state want. What Holder and Obama want is what's going to happen.  Holder does not have this kind of power or authority, but he does if nobody is going to stop him or challenge him.
[...]
So the law doesn't mean anything. Existing law doesn't mean anything if changes to it are being contemplated, and so the people of Utah -- same-sex marriage, yes, no, are now victims, and the federal government is just going to ride in and wave the powerful magic wand and say, "This is the way it's gonna be."  So who needs governors?  You have the attorney general engaging in executive actions, executive orders, just as if Obama were to do it.  Stalinists, folks.

So Limbaugh says to give Utah what they want to do.

Now here is Eric Cantor doing the exact opposite of what Limbaugh just did by attacking New York Mayor De Blasio over eduction:

As usual the GOP wants it both ways

Hypocirtes

Showing how ignorant the right is as always they somehow never seem to talk about Climate Change when it's hot, like it's been here in California, but they only talk about it when we have record cold which IS A RESULT OF CLIMATE CHANGE IDIOTS

Times need to change

I would like to talk about free speech and how it doesn't always work out. Especially if you are speaking in favor of pro-gay rights. The latest is a former NFL player Chris Kluwe. He was a punter for Minnesota until he was released.

http://americablog.com/2014/01/vikings-deny-kluwe-fired-pro-gay.html

He feels he was released because he is outspoken in his pro-gay rights beliefs. And he may have standing. Last year, Brendon Ayanbadejo of the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, was unable to sign with a team. He is also outspoken in favor of gay rights.

In the NBA no one signed Jason Collins after he came out as being gay.

There is free speech here last I checked.
