No Override

So The House was unable to override Bush's veto on the S-Chip program to no real surprise. Next election that's going to be a major issue along with the disaster in Iraq. If that was me, either party member who voted against it would have this shoved down their throat.

Real Values

You know I always find funny how Republicans claim they are the party of values but when it's time for them to show that they don't. Same with the troops. Two examples of what I mean.

1st the S-Chip bill. That bill is designed to help low-income families with health insurance (which is a major issue in the election this coming year) they veto it.

2nd every time there is a bill that wants to bring our troops home they will vote against it despite the fact the majority of the people want our troops home. And if any soldier speaks out against they war they get attacked by the right-wing media being called things like "phony soldiers" and our now going after a general who is against the disaster in Iraq.

Yet when moveon buys an add attacking another general all hell breaks lose. No one is calling for these people to resign or blasting the media for attacking Gen. Sanchez!

O'Idiot

While I'm not going to dismantle much of Bill O'Idiot's column today I just have a question I would like answered: If it's ok for the United States to torture citizens of other countries will it be ok for our troops and citizens to be tortured cause honestly we unfortunately have set ourselves up and we have no right to complain WHEN that happens cause we do the same thing.

Deserved

Congrats to Al Gore for winning the Nobel Peace Prize. It's a deserved honor and while I know Robert (after all he tried unsuccessfully to disprove Global Warming despite the obvious facts regarding it)is pissed off I'd like to say how everyone BUT him knows it's a problem. Even Bush has admitted it recently.

Now I saw on False News where they say he did nothing to deserve it and Petraeus does for continuing the devastation in Iraq I guess I wonder if Bush will have the Supreme Court overturn that like he did after losing the election in 2000. I wouldn't put it past the egomaniac.

You know one thing that always amuses me is how Robert hates when I label righties (accurately) but never mentioned it when I say how I'm labeled as treason by the right cause I disagree with Bush and how since I am against the Iraq War I cannot support the troops. Which is of course bull on either count. So we get to the new one according to the B*tch Ann Coulter cause I am a proud Democrat I am stupid. At least her book (which I won't give any pub to) indicates that. So according to her I HAVE to support the Republicans and I absolutely REFUSE to. I can never support the heads of that party I can never support the viewpoint of that party who doesn't give a damn about anyone.

How can I support the hate that Coulter,Limbaugh,OReilly,Hannity,Medved,Beck and so many that I have posted all the anger toward. They preach hate, they practice hate and all they understand is hate. They all talk how they never smear yet ALL they do is smear. They are nothing but hypocrites, liars and if that's who I should look up to and strive to become I'd rather be stupid then like those uncaring losers. If these are supposed to be compassionate "people" I'd rather be ignorant.

Think about it in just the past week we continued how Bill O'Reilly proves to be racist. We showed about Rush's hatred toward troops we showed how Bush hates children as he vetoed a bill that would provide health insurance. And as a further insult we have Rush who attacked Michael J. Fox after a commercial. Fox who has parkinson's disease Limbaugh said he was faking his symptoms to get sympathy. I'm supposed to agree with sick freaks like this?

I'm supposed to agree with Coulter who attacks victims of 9/11 widows who just wanted a fair investigation by saying how they are living off their husbands deaths? I'm supposed to agree with the B*tch?

I'm sorry if you like them that's your choice but if you expect me to I won't. Why would I?

What Happened

Just wondering what happened to holidays being celebrated on the day they are? Last I checked Columbus Day was October 12th and NOT October 8th. Even if it's cause of a three day weekend (which it obviously is) October 12th is on a FRIDAY this year and not a Monday. What's going to happen with Christmas when that is no longer celebrated December 25th but December 28th? That's what's next.

Interesting Week

So this week was quite interesting. Wanted to review what we have learned.

A) Rush Limbaugh can attack the troops and it's called in the media freedom of speech YET moveon attacks Petraeus and they get a senate resolution condemning them. A side note that proves the media with the unbalanced coverage IS NOT LIBERAL!

B) We learned George Bush doesn't care about children as he vetoed a bill that would give children health care coverage.

C) We learned George Bush, the commander in chief, lies to the troops when he says the whatever service they join will pay for their education cause they don't.

D) We learned that Larry Craig is blind to the fact that he is gay and blind to the fact that he plead guilty and he is hurting his party by refusing to step down.

E) We were reminded that the Republican National Convention next year will be held about 8 miles from where Craig had his fun.

F) We were reminded how USC and UCLA have a long way to go in the football as they both suffered embarrassing losses yesterday.

Talking Baseball

Just an idea for televising the baseball playoffs. Instead of having three games on television in one day two in another why not do the following:

Televise both 1st round National League games one day then the next televise both American League games. Obviously I'm talking first round. That way we can easily see how superior the National League is and most fans won't miss one game cause it's on so early or so late depending on what time zone you are in.

Continuing the theme

The story show how National Guard troops after serving the longest of anyone in Iraq are being denied the education benefits promised to them when they joined. And Robert as you have fondly put it it's on Bush cause as you say he is the "commander in chief" and ultimately the buck does stop there.

How this is not being reported widely by the media also proves how they do not respect the troops either.

So Rush thinks that soldiers who support leaving Iraq are "phony soldiers". So I wonder where the media outcry is over that like there was over the moveon.org add. Nevermind how Rush started the General Betrayus on his show Jan 25th. I can't wait to see Republicans line up to condemn Rush cause they wouldn't show they are hypocrites would they??

Bill O's in Trouble

I always laugh when people's ego get in the way of logic and that's what's happening in the Bill O'Idiot situation. We have heard the racist things he said (even though he must have felt they weren't intended that way) but instead of saying it was a mistake and that wasn't intended he goes and attacks the media who reported WHAT HE SAID.

That's why this won't go away so easily and it shouldn't cause what he said was wrong, demeaning and outright ignorant.

But that's what O'Idiot is.

I notice the silence from Robert and Geoffrey Church when I talk about the outcry from the right-wing media on the moveon.org add. Again today Bill O is at it again saying how that one add could affect her becoming president.

Again I ask a simple question: Where were the so-called liberal media when the swift boaters were attacking John Kerry and comparing Max Cleeland to Osama Bin Laden? Where is the Senate condemning them? Where is the media when Rush compares Barrack Obama to Osama (which he does consistantly) Where is the so-called liberal media when the right continuously says how the liberals are committing treason cause we are against the war?

Why is it that freedom of speech applies only to the right-wing of America and not EVERYONE in America?

We have serous issues like Iraq, Global Warming, major companies importing tainted good from China, gas prices and what do the Republicans do?
