Who should it be

I'm curious where I see that Caroline Kennedy wants to be named Senator of New York to replace incoming Sec. of State Hillary Clinton if she is confirmed. I'm not saying this to be disrespectful in any way toward the Kennedy's I can't even understand the torture they have been through BUT I'm wondering what has she done to be qualified as Senator of New York? Just because they have the bloodlines doesn't mean they all could be Senator. There are a lot of qualified people from New York.

Fitting

As Bush was in Iraq yesterday everyone by now saw how the Iraqi reporter threw his shoes at him. I guess we weren't greeted as liberators as Bush likes to continue to be under the delusion we were. The most fitting end to his Presidency and my hope is that when Obama is sworn in he can restore the world's faith in America. We know that Bush destroyed it.

I'd like to say congrats to the Republican Party for successfully killing America by killing the loan (not a bailout) for Detroit. It's pathetic that they would rather DESTROY America then help working class people who's being blamed for bad decisions that management made. They would rather kill the middle class being the complete elitist snobs that they are. Keep in mind there will be 3 million people who will be affected by this.

Honestly let's make this what it really is:

A) Republicans hate blue-collar workers. Especially union ones so they want to try to destroy them

B) This is a complete setup to hurt Obama. Republicans would rather hurt the country then they will blame Obama for ruining it.

C) This is class warfare. Republicans are as I said snobs and don't like the middle-class for some unknown reason

Keep in mind though they were voted out in November and obviously haven't learned anything. This is reason NEVER to elect a Republican to office again! Also remember Bush could end this by saying the Auto Industry could take the money they need from the $700 billion given to Wall Street with no questions asked.

A Change of pace

What's so nice about Obama's Cabinet is that there is, contrary to the current administration, intelligence. There are actually going to be smart people in the White House advising the President instead of people who just suck up. That's going to be a nice change of pace.

Bad Gov

I wanna talk about the arrest of the Illinois Gov. and how disgusted I am with him as are all Democrats. I've always said the rule should be if you are arrested, under indictment or jailed for ANY reason you should be forced to resign your office no matter what the party is but I feel especially angered over this disaster because that is probably going to cost Democrats another seat in the Senate I hope Fitzgerald throws the book at the waste of a human being and he does the time he deserves. What is it about Illinois as he is the 4th Gov . to be arrn the last 35 years

But I hope you notice the huge difference between Democrats and Republicans here. EVERY progressive I've heard in the last 24 hours feels as I do however when Republicans are arrested all I hear from the echo machine is that it's everyone's fault BUT that person. They will blame the media, Democrats whoever. Remember when Fitzgerald went after Libby how he was attacked for being biased? Nothing from them now that he is going after a Democrat. Just note the double-standard as usual from them.

One of the things I've continuously heard from the right regarding the scam of the 2000 election (and 2004) is get over it. I wish the right would do the exact same thing.

There is a case the Supreme Court is going to decide to hear where the Plaintiffs, including the person who lost the Illinois Senate Race to Obama Alan Keyes are suing to have the election overturned because they claim Obama wasn't born in the United States which has been disproven. However with the Supreme Court made up as it is I wouldn't be surprised they take this nonsense of the case. Keep in mind how stupid this group is cause if by some fluke they rule in favor of the lawsuit that would make McCain disqualified too as he wasn't born in the United States at all. He was born in Panama City, Panama.

So this group would rather have complete chaos in the country then except the fact that Obama fairly won the election. As I said they need to get over it!

Again to prove my point about how much better the world would be without religion I present to you this in Indianapolis, Indiana. It shows how the Catholic Church (big shock) is attacking planned parenthood there for selling gift certificates that include abortion (which last I checked is legal in this country) .

I'm going to say this for the millionth time. If they want to invade people's bedrooms they will lose. They should already have their tax-exempt status removed and they should be investigated by the I.R.S. like anyone else. Otherwise they should stay home and shut up. Again this is furthering my point.

Tell Me

Can someone tell me what the hell Ronald Reagan did that was so great? I mean seriously if you take a look during his 8 years the two things Republicans claim he did he had either a) nothing at all to do with (ending communism) or broke the law and he should have been in jail (Iran-Contra) so tell me what did he do that makes him great?

Who's to stop them?

Wondering who will stop India from attacking Pakistan if it's true they were behind the Mumbai attacks? Not the United States we would be hypocrites if we did according to the "Bush Doctrine" but the difference is our troops would be in the middle and I wouldn't doubt both countries would use the nuclear weapons that they have.

What a happy place

I was listening to a talk show and they had an interesting topic: What would the world be like without religion. I personally think we would be such a happier society. No one would be bullied into supporting things that make the us look like we discriminate (prop 8) there would be less wars done in the name of god there would be less idiots out there who will kill in the name of god as I said I think the world would be a better place.

It could easily happen

For those who don't think something like what happened in Mumbai couldn't easily happen in the United States take a look. The reports indicate the terrorists came in on a boat and simply walked up to their targets. How many miles of coastlines do we have in the United States where that can happen? Too many.

Being Thankful

Just a few things I'm thankful for.

I'm thankful Barack Obama is going to be our President

I'm thankful that Sarah Palin is continuing to show why she is not qualified to ever run for anything again

I'm thankful that John McCain didn't win

I'm thankful I have fantastic friends who give a damn

I'm thankful that, except for my mom's hip, my family been pretty healthy this year

I'm thankful that, despite how meaningless it is, I do have a job considering how many others don't

I'm thankful we won't have to hear Bush butchering the English language anymore

I'm thankful Republicans, for the time being anyway, have been reduced to nothing after this election

A Week Off

What it really is

Thinking about it we know why Republicans (mainly) are against a bailout for the Auto Industry. It's really simple. It's union busting plain and simple. They have fully blames the UAW (even though it's managements fault) for the mess they are in and it's wrong.

Taking a long look if the Auto Industry fails let's see who would be hurt the most:

Well since there will not be as much of a need for steel the steel workers union would lose jobs

Since there would not as much of a need for tires the United Rubber Union would lose jobs

Since there would not be as much of a need for Mechanics the Mechanics Union would lose jobs

We are talking millions of people would be out of work if the Auto Industry cause the Republicans don't like unions. Like I said ladies and gentlemen it's union busting.

What is the Priority

I always found it funny what priorities the Bush Administration has. They can find $700,000,000,000 for our tax dollars to bail out companies that are white collar workers but when it comes to blue collar companies like GM I hear silence. Just wondering why they have such a disdain for the middle class which this WOULD actually help instead of the phony scam that is running now. I guess it just shows how out of touch Republicans truly are.
