Reality of life is it's not always fair. Michael Sam showed in the pre season that he is good enough to play in the NFL. Problem was the team that drafted him, the St. Louis Rams, is very deep on the defensive line which is where Sam played.

So while Sam showed he is good enough, he got cut by the Rams. Hopefully a team will pick him up as he deserves a shot.

To Understand

I gave the Rams a lot of credit for drafting Michael Sam, the first openly gay player to be drafted in the NFL, I hope he's good enough to make the team but if he's not he will be cut. It's that simple.

That being said I'd like to point out comments that former coach Tony Dungy said saying how he would never draft him because he's "too much of a distraction".

I find those comment ironic considering how he has supported Michael Vick who was properly JAILED for dog fighting. He's willing to give him chances yet not Michael Sam who has done nothing wrong.

That is being a hypocrite.
