A few things

I just want to state a few things regarding immigration and my stance on the law.

First Washington won't take up the issue. And that's no matter who is in charge. Democrats won't because it will hurt a growing base and Republicans won't because it will lose cheap labor which they like.

Second my stance on the law is because living in Los Angeles I hate the fact I need to learn Spanish when I don't live in Mexico. I hate the fact that a majority of radio station in Los Angeles broadcast in Spanish and I hate the fact that I cannot go to say a fast food place and need to understand Spanish to order food. I hate the fact that I've gone to a wrestling show and the announcers were in Spanish and I couldn't understand a word they said.

Third I underestand on this issue I am a racist. I'm sorry about that this is the way I feel and I've always said I'm going to be honest.

Fourth is the nerve of Arizona after passing the law they are actually asking for Federal Funds to train officers. Sorry but if this is what you want you have to pay for it

I wonder

The Supreme Court is going to hear a case where California banned the sale of violent video games to minors. I'm curious to see how they will rule but I've always said that should be the parents responsibility to watch their children instead of just parking them in front of the tv.

My ideas

Here is my ideas to curb illegal immigration.

1) Fine, humilliate businesses who hire illegals. How do you humilliate: Like in California after prop 8 out them. Make big ads, put posters in front make it so uncomfortable for them they won't do it.

2) Tighter tighter tighter tighter border security. We can't seem to protect our borders

3) End government programs that state if you are in the country illegaly and have children, the children are automatically citizens and can get government programs. That has to stop.

Contrary to conservative heroes like Ronald Reagan who gave Amnesty to illegals I don't believe in that. Sorry.

Just wondering

I was just wondering something.... What if say, instead of a bunch of angry white males bringing their guns to Washington to protest something like the tea partiers are doing say Arab Americans, or African Americans were protesting? How would they be treated? Would they be hailed by the right-wing media as heroes? Or would they be villified and arrested immediately? What if, say an African American spat on say Mitch McConnel like what happened to African American Congressmen Emanuel Cleaver and Fred Lewis? How would they be treated? What if say, Stevie Wonder or Prince called say Eric Cantor a piece of shit and said he could suck on their machine gun like Ted Nugent has toward President Obama? Would they be called great Americans by O'Reilly, Limbaugh? Would they be excused by saying well they have 1st amendment rights? The answer is of course no they wouldn't of course. Just something to think about

5 years

Just realized it's the fifth year for my blog here. It's funny I started this I was just bored one day. I appreciate the support and thank you for coming here. Thanks again.

Two wrongs

I would like to point out what I feel are two wrongs by our President Obama. (contrary to the right on Bush the left has the courage to point out flaws as well as give credit where it's due). First it was announced that the President will appeal an accurate ruling outlawing a day of prayer. This day was struck down recently by a judge in Wisconsin for the accurate reason it violates our constitution.

Now please correct me if I'm wrong... Christians have a day of prayer which is Sunday. Jewish people have one which is Friday and Muslims have to pray 5 times a day so we don't need a National day of Prayer.

Second I would like to point out the disaster off the coast of Louisiana. I'm wondering why Obama is allowing MORE drilling off our coasts when disasters like the oil rig explosion will occur more and more. Another bad choice.

Questions

So I've always wondered this question.. How can the right be "pro life" but are pro guns which are ONLY used to take lives? Isn't that a conflict?

This is probably the one issue I am on the conservative side on. The Arizona House and Senate passed a very tough illegal immigration law stating their police can stop anyone they suspect is an illegal alien and ask for their papers. I'm sorry but I think it's right but the law doesn't go after employers ( which really should be the start point) who hire illegal immigrants. One of the thing I disagree with though is they also are requiring polititions to show their Birth Certificates. That's fine as long as you start with your Senator John McCain cause he was born in Panama which last I checked isn't in the United States. That law, which is clearly a shot at our President, applies to Arizona's Senator as well.

But digressing back to the point one issue that always bothered me is how people say the illegal immigrants will do work Amercans won't. That's a lie. Americans will do things like pick fields if they are given a fair wage and benefits.

Grateful

Every day I'm so grateful that Insane More of the Same John McCain was never elected President for a couple of reasons. First idiot Sarah Palin isn't Vice President and second he would have made Dubya look like a genius. Why he still gets so much talk time on the Sunday shows astounds me because he just shoots himself in the foot again and again for instance he is still sounding off on Iran saying over the weekend "pull the trigger" or in other words, invade Iran. Like the typical angry Republican he is he is reactionary and doesn't see the danger of that statement. I don't like Iran and I don't want anyone to think otherwise especially the threats he's made toward Israel but if you want a no win situation, go ahead and attack cause Iran is a no win situation. John McCain is an idiot.

Do words matter?

I ask this question because we are on the anniversery of the Oklahoma City Bombing. We see such hate from the right-wing media, as well as Republicans in congress and a certain quitter from Alaska, directed toward liberals and especially the Government, we've seen Rep. Michelle Bachman encourage revolution, we see rocks thrown at windows of Democratic Reps due to those words that come from Rush, O'Idiot, Hannity and so many more and we've seen actions.

So Tiger Woods announced his big comeback for golf at the Masters. It surprised no one as even the novice golf fans could figure he would play at Augusta. He should play well long as his head (both of them) are in the game. Is it me or is it ironic a guy named woods has a problem with sex addiction?

Conflict of interest

So when the Supreme Court gave that completely horrible ruling about campaign finance the other week we knew it would create problems but we never knew how much. The worst example yet is done by the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is starting in an unpreceented move her own Tea Party movement and since the ruling that means her group can donate any amount of funds to any candidate. That is truly disgusting.

Nothing Done

So as I said the other day nothing was really accomplished yesterday at the healthcare summit except for one thing: In front of the cameras America was showed what party wants to accomplish the people's business (Democrats) and what party's only goal is the status quo (Republicans).

Bound to happen

So I guess the biggest surprise yesterday was Scott Brown. I also said that look how I, along with people who are against the war, have been called un-american and told how I can't support the troops and all sorts of idiotic things. His response was "what about the teabaggers and what I've been called. Well if you actually look at what the teabaggers are upset at Obama for they are idiotic because REPUBLICANS ACTUALLY DID WHAT THEY ARE ACCUSING OBAMA OF DOING! First during the State of theUnion there were two incidents. First Justice Samuel Alieto clearly mouthing that's not true when President Obama sated about the horrible Supreme Court Ruling that money from big businesses are going to influence election. Actually Mr. Justice that is true. Second the camera showed John McCain telling Lindsey Graham about how President Obama was going to (accurately) blame Bush for leaving the country in the mess we are in.

I think False News needs to be investigated by the Elections Commission for violating equal time laws. They continuously had Brown on their shows and Coakley was nowhere. It's very easy why Scott Brown won yesterday in Mass. He ran a better campaign. Won thing Republicans always seem to do, even though once they win they cannot govern, is campaign better. Watching countdown last night Keith Olbermann always has the worse persons of the world award which gives the idocy of the right-wing their due. The winner showed yet another jerk and that is Sean Hannity. Now for those who watch False News regularly wouldn't know about the devastating earthquake in Haiti because false news doesn't really care about it. There is barely a mention. Hannity said multiple times, again keeping in mind these were after the davastation in Haiti, compared an election win from that other idiot Brown today to a "political earthquake". That is wrong and disgusting. I'm waiting for anyone on the right to call out Hannity, the drug addict, Robertson for those disgusting comments but I guess they agree with them cause the silence speaks volumes about how uncaring they are.

So the banks who received our tax money thanks to George Bush are going to start announcing how much money they paid in bonuses in 2009. Keep in mind the banks, thanks to deregulation, almost bankrupted our country. Now I said at the time let them fail because of those bonuses and still feel the same but I heard a great idea from Democrat Peter Welch who introduced legislation that would have a %50 tax on all bonuses over $50,000. Congrats sir that is the best idea but it should be on over $1000. These are bonuses so undeserved.

I guess it's only fitting that Sarah Palin is joining False (Fox) News. She quit on her state of Alaska Fox quit on being a honest news organization. But really I have a question. Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee are allegedly going to run for President in 2012 doesn't that violate election laws and shouldn't the FCC investigate this?

Idiots of the week

I have a tie for the idiot of the week.

First Harry Reid. While I don't like him as a leader and feel he should resign because he is weak. Those comments aren't nearly as bad as those from Republican leader Rush Limbaugh. Those comments he made were I feel horrible but he, unlike people like Rush, did apologize to the President and the President allegedly accepted (I would feel differently if he didn't) there shouldn't be an issue. Where is Michael Steele's critizism of the "Barrack the magic negro" song proudly played by the right-wing hypocrites?

But the clear winner is Rudy Giuliani. He went on Good Morning America on Friday and said "There were no domestic terror attacks under George Bush". Dana Perino said something simular on Fox in November. Now correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't 9/11 under George Bush? Wasn't the Anthrax attacks under George Bush? How about the D.C. Sniper? I think I need a reminder for all those who are taking advantage of the cold weather back east to attack those who believe in global warming. IT'S WINTER IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE COLD. That is all.

What we aren't hearing

With the announcement that Christopher Dodd and Byron Dorgan not running for re-election we are getting from all the right-wing controlled media how it's the end of the Democrats. Funny how they didn't say it about Republicans when Martinez from Fla, Voinovich from Oh, Brownbeck from Ks and Bond from Mo were not running either in 2010. But the media is so right-wing now we only hear one side of the story.


Also I have to take issue with an op-ed piece Newt Gingrich had in yesterday's USA Today. He said it's ok to attack President Obama. In fact he called it "citizenship". Where the hell was he when I was called un-patriotic for attacking George Bush? Where the hell was he when I was called un-american when I was attacking Bush? Where the hell was he when I was told I can't support the troops being against the Iraq War? Just another right-wing blowhard who gets way too much airtime and yet another example of the hypocrites on the right.

Enough Already

Certain things I take personally. Healthcare reform the gloves are coming off. First off I told you how my father was told he has to die from the death panels that currently reign from the insurance companies so I'm going to remind you who are against heathcare reform you are for the murder of not only my father but over 45,000 Americans who die each year without proper health insurance. You are murderers you sick bastards!

Freedoms

Why are Republicans always seem to be willing to give up our freedoms? When the patriot act (or as I always call it the invasion of privacy act) was passed that's exactly what happens. And as always when Republicans pass something they screw it up. Yet when it comes to things that might help people like heathcare reform, jobs the Republicans are always against it. They never want to help anyone but big business. They are willing to sacrafice our freedoms for big business and that's what needs to be stopped. Remember the saying those who are willing to sacrafice freedom for security deserve nether.

One Step Behind

Here is the whole problem with the war on terror. We always seem to be a step behind. Let's start with Al Queda. First they were in Afghanistan. We attack they allegedly move to Iraq. We attack they move to Pakistan, we attack and now they are either in Yemen or Somalia even if we attack there they will move to other friendly countries. Problem we are always a step behind.

Now let's take a look at the recent attacks and attempted attacks. After 9/11 stricter security measures were in place. We had the shoe bomber now people have to take off their shoes we had the attempted attack on Christmas. Now passengers are stuck on the last hours of flights can't go to the bathrooms all pillows and blankets are taken. Again we are a step behind.

We need people to start thinking about how to get a step ahead.

He actually had the nerve to compare intelligence failure of 9/11 to the attempted bombing on Christmas day. Bottom line as I will ALWAYS continue to remind my Republican friends is BUSH WAS TOLD AN ATTACK WAS COMING A MONTH BEFORE 9/11 AND CHOSE TO IGNORE IT! Anyone who thinks otherwise is stupid and Doyle McManus you are clearly the idiot of the week.

We Lose

A few months back I posted about the de-regulation of the cable industry and, like all Republican ideas about de-regulation, fail miserably. Now I bring to you the latest proof on how consumers lose when industries aren't watched. For those of us forced with monopolized Time Warner (which is always the result of de-regulation, monopolies) we are about to lose all our Fox broadcasts (while I don't mind losing Fox News since I don't watch that garbage I do watch other networks from them) because they are arguing over fees. So as always the consumer is getting screwed cause even when they resolve their differences we will either be without Fox or get higher fees. Republicans de-regulation will never work and I have examples that prove I'm right more then you do.

The Tea Party Movement

Keep in mind they really don't understand what the Boston Tea Party is but I remember attenting a rally (and being escorted out) and just asking simple questions and being able to tell them their placement of anger is completely wrong. For instance

The Deficit. Democrats had a balanced budget REPUBLICANS under George Bush ran it up. Deomcrats when they were in charge of the country had a BUDGET SURPLUS. But that didn't stop them.

Taxes. To this point taxes haven't gone up in fact I'm getting more on my paycheck (not much) and so did everyone I ask. Again misplaced anger

Bank Bailouts. That was BUSH'S IDEA. Not Democrats.

So their main reasons at the first protest are all created by Republicans yet they are blaming Democrats. They are hypocrites and clearly the idiots of the year.

Rating Obama

So I guess this is the time of year where President Obama is going to be rated on his first year. I guess I will do the same.

Where he gets good grades:

International. The nightmare policies that were done by the idiot Bush are a thing of the pass. Thank god. Obama is trying to erase the idiot's crap ideas like torture, holding people without trials for as long as they want and the things that made us the most hated nation in the world. Grade B

Domestic:
Stock Market. Grade: A. He turned around that aspect of the economy. His policies worked it unlike the previous 2 administrations that killed regulation which never works when you de-regulate something cause companies won't police themselves.

Jobs. Grade: C. We are in a crisis. Again due to a major part of the last administration it is still up to Obama to fix the mess he inherited. I won't say he failed but he sure hasn't improved anything.

Gas Prices. Grade: D. I always attacked Bush for hi gas prices and I don't say that enough about Presdient Obama. What happened to that windfall profits tax on the oil companies? Why are we also not hearing from the media about the profits from the oil companies like we did under Bush.

Control over congress and senate. Grade: D. Democrats have the majority but don't act like it. In fact we act like children. As much as Bush is an idiot when he had both the House and the Senate they followed him to the point where we are now. Obama has no control.

Overall my grade for the first year for President Obama would be C+. There is room for improvement but he inherited a huge mess from the previous administration.

3 options

I'm going to give Tiger Woods 3 options when he eventually comes back for his apology tour. 3 talk shows that will help for different reasons:

Oprah. She will give a sympothetic ear to him. She will give ratings and the softball questions that will allow him to be sympothetic.

Jay Leno. He has a history with Hugh Grant after his affairs. It will be a huge boost to his show as well which definately needs one

David Letterman. He is currently in the same situation as Tiger. No one currently would know what questions to ask better then him.

Tiger will come back as I said and eventually will have to face the media as much as he doesn't want to. He can't hide forever from this.

Tiger

I waited for awhile to speak about Tiger Woods. It's funny he is asking for privacy and to be left alone with his affairs (pun intended). I don't like that fact. He is in the public eye and uses the media whenever it suits his advantage but since he messed up all the sudden he wants to be left alone. He can't have it both ways. He messed up and is now being tried in hte court of public opinion.

If he is worried he should look at Kobe Bryant. He raped someone but still is playing in the NBA and has the best selling jersey in the NBA. So fans will support him no matter what he does as in this case.

The worse part is the other players in the PGA who are going to be hounded with questions regarding this when really unless Tiger confides in them they really won't know or care what happened.

So I got at least to a point what I wanted to hear last night. I heard a plan, and most importantly I heard an exit stragedy. Good now I want to hear how it will all be paid for.

One more thing I would love to see ANY so-called journalist who has Dick Cheney on ask why do you attack President Obama when if you and Bush had a plan we wouldn't be where we are today in this nightmare? Huckabee Murders

So the person who killed the four cops in Washington State was fatally wounded this morning. This has a direct relation to former and future Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee as he is the person who is responsible for their deaths as the shooter was serving a 95 year sentence in Arkansas but had his sentence commuted by Huckabee. Good job you are responsible for four murders.

What should be done

With my post about the horrible religious attacks on President Obama I guess what I would like to see done more then anything (and I don't care if it's Al Sharpton or Pat Robertson) is anyone who claims to be any religious organization should have their tax exempt status removed. Here is more proof on why I'm against religion (specifically the Christian Religion). There is a bumper sticker circulating around saying pray for Obama Psalm 109:8. For those (like me) who are not familliar with that (I looked it up) it reads the following: "Let his days be few And let another take his office." Followed by another verse "Let his children be fatherless and his wife be a widow."

How to fix it

So the unemployment rate is currently 10.2%. President Obama wants a "job summit" with big businesses. Keep in mind how this was inherited from the previous administration but as I've said many times it's up to the President to fix it. It's a very simple idea but here is what I feel should be done:

a) fine businesses a certain amount when they send jobs overseas that can be done in America for fair wages. I say for fair wages because we know why businesses send jobs overseas cause of cheap labor. Make the fines significant enough for businesses

b) reward businesses for keeping jobs in the U.S. I know I should might get some words for that but if businesses are punished for losing jobs they should be rewarded for gaining jobs.

That's how I feel will fix it.

I would like to give kudos to Jim Demint (R). Choices

I commented about this a while back and it's even more relevent now. You are seeing a purge in both parties right now and I'm not sure if it's the right thing. You are seeing Republicans get rid of moderates and Democrats trying to get rid of "blue dogs". Now I'm sure I'm being naive but shouldn't there be room for people of all view points in every party? I decided after last week to make this award weekly. Why not. Disgusting Acts

So these phony tea baggers protest were at it again in Washington D.C. They were protesting the healthcare bill that will pass congress over the next couple of days. What caught my eye was the most disgusting sign I saw covered on False News (Fox for those who are new here) that actually showed people killed in the holocaust saying that will happen if healthcare passes. Damn those psychopaths who really don't understand history. Damn anyone who supports them. You are the stupidest people in the world for NOT understanding the significance of the holocaust. Damn Fox News AND ANYONE for giving them a forum and not calling them out for the anti-semetic freaks they are.

Ft. Hood Shooting

So you have the tragedy at Ft. Hood yesterday (and the reason I didn't post about this yesterday is I have the luxury of waiting til some facts come out unlike the media who have to cover it live) and if you look at the suspect there were warnings. He posted favorably about suicide bombings which should have launched an immediate investigation from the FBI. This could have been preventable.

About Last Night

So what we are going to hear about the election last night from the right-wing media is how it was a vote against President Obama. If you look at the exit polls that I saw last night on ALL the channels is that will be a lie. The exit polls indicated that 57 % in Virginia said Obama had NOTHING TO DO WITH THEIR VOTE and that number was 60% in New Jersey. If you look at Virginia especially historically whatever party is in power in the White House they pick the oposite in the Gov.

What you won't hear from the Right Wing media is about the New York 23 congressional seat being taken by a Democrat for the first time since the Civil War. You won't hear about California 10th which was won by a Democrat for the first time in years as well. Especially NY 23rd though where Republicans started booting out moderates to vote for the "conservative" party candidate. It just shows the infighting involved in the Republican party right now.

However I will say this should serve as a wake up call for Democrats in one sense that they should not take 2010 lightly because you know the Republican nut jobs will be in force supporting the most extremest candidates out there. Be careful.

During a serious hearing about concussions in the NFL all he wanted to know is why Limbaugh was not allowed to own an NFL team. Just Once I would love to see someone ask former Vice President Cheney when he says how he kept America safe after 9/11 the following questions:

Weren't you supposed to keep America safe ON 9/11?
Why didn't you act on the Presidential Daily Briefing saying Bin Laden determined to strike against the United States that was given a month prior to the attacks?
Are we supposed to ignore the anthrax attacks that happened AFTER 9/11?
Why didn't you keep us safe from them?

Phony Outrage

In hte latest phony outrage against President Obama the Republicans are attacking the fact that he is having people who donated money to his campaign over to events at the White House. My feeling is this: People should be rewarded for helping the President no matter who it is AS LONG AS there is no favors done like getting no bid contracts (like Cheney did for Halliburton). Another grasp at nothing by Republicans.
