His Comeback

So Tiger Woods announced his big comeback for golf at the Masters. It surprised no one as even the novice golf fans could figure he would play at Augusta. He should play well long as his head (both of them) are in the game. Is it me or is it ironic a guy named woods has a problem with sex addiction?

A Waste of time

So Tiger Woods is going to finally, after 3 months, his phony apology on Friday. We know it's a joke, we know he doesn't mean it and we know he's a coward cause he's not even taking questions regarding it. It's a waste of time and he's a waste of time.

I had to give a bonus idiot of the week. I try not to but this is incredibly dumb but I guess with great examples like John Ensign, Sanford from South Carolina, Larry Craig, David Vitter it makes sense. Brit Hume on Fox called for Tiger Woods to "be a great example to the world and convert to Christianity". First I thought Fox claimed to be a news channel why the hell are they promiting any religion? Second Tiger Woods is happy with whatever religious beliefs he has so what business is it of Humes? Third why would anyone convert to a religion that is responsible for most wars in history?

Not a bad choice but

I see Associated Press named Tiger Woods athlete of the decade. You can't deny his dominance on and off the golf course (Wilt Chamberlin would be proud) but I can think of a few athletes more deserving and more dominant and who play tougher sports then Tiger:

Roger Federer
Michael Phelps
Kobe Bryant
Tom Brady

I feel all of them deserve the award more then Tiger Woods.

3 options

I'm going to give Tiger Woods 3 options when he eventually comes back for his apology tour. 3 talk shows that will help for different reasons:

Oprah. She will give a sympothetic ear to him. She will give ratings and the softball questions that will allow him to be sympothetic.

Jay Leno. He has a history with Hugh Grant after his affairs. It will be a huge boost to his show as well which definately needs one

David Letterman. He is currently in the same situation as Tiger. No one currently would know what questions to ask better then him.

Tiger will come back as I said and eventually will have to face the media as much as he doesn't want to. He can't hide forever from this.

Tiger

I waited for awhile to speak about Tiger Woods. It's funny he is asking for privacy and to be left alone with his affairs (pun intended). I don't like that fact. He is in the public eye and uses the media whenever it suits his advantage but since he messed up all the sudden he wants to be left alone. He can't have it both ways. He messed up and is now being tried in hte court of public opinion.

If he is worried he should look at Kobe Bryant. He raped someone but still is playing in the NBA and has the best selling jersey in the NBA. So fans will support him no matter what he does as in this case.

The worse part is the other players in the PGA who are going to be hounded with questions regarding this when really unless Tiger confides in them they really won't know or care what happened.

Sorry Tiger you are a public figure and your life will be treated as such.
