the Company You Keep

"Obama pals around with terrorist" remember that from the election cycle?? I sure do. What the right did was try to denounce the company the then candidate keeps.

Now I bring you to this

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/12/30/1354722/-David-Duke-hearts-Steve-Scalise-and-Scalise-compares-the-League-of-Women-Voters-to-the-KKK

So when I say racism this is just the latest example.

Double Standard

So I'd like to point out the double standard Republicans have when it comes to Policemen and Policewomen being murdered.

Fox, predictably, is quick to blame the President like in cases like the tragedy that happened in New York saying how he "inflames" issue (without of course giving examples)

Yet does anyone remember over the summer when in Las Vegas two policemen were killed by people associated with their hero Cliven Bundy?? Yeah it wasn't mentioned much then but to remind you how disgusting these so called people are here is a refresher

Cowards

So Sony caved when they decided not to release the movie the Interview. Stupid idea, They are nothing but cowards who caved to terrorists.

About Time

Kudos to President Obama for finally trying to normalize relations with Cuba. It's been a long time coming.

And for those who say we shouldn't, would you say we should have no relations with countries like China and Vietnam??

It's Simple

With the disgusting revelations how the United States tortured prisoners of war if we want to restore credibility we need to put those who authorized, and conducted the torture need to be arrested and put on trial for war crimes.

Monday, December 08, 2014

So

With the release of the report on torture and the worry about retaliation cause of it I wonder if you are worried about problems why did they bother to torture to begin with

Saturday, December 06, 2014

Good question

How come no one wants to talk about the Christian Terrorists?? Or as I call them the American Talliban

To Respond

I would like to respond to a post a friend of mine put on facebook asking why she is called a racist because he disagrees with the President.

To answer I would like to respond in the following: between 2000 and 2008 I was told I hate America because I dare questioned George Bush. I was supposed to follow him blindly. If you don't like being called names well look in the mirror because you were doing the exact same thing.

Pay Attention

I hope you were paying attention to this election cycle. Especially with the so-called liberal media. For weeks all I heard from from CNN, MSNBC was how the GOP was going to win (sorry Fox isn't media they are just shills for the right wing). All I heard on local "news" was how the GOP was going to win. That's it.

If the media is liberal you are high.

This is what they want

This is why I will always call Republicans Hypocrites...

They want id's for you to vote (which is illegal cause it's a poll tax)

Yet they are against background checks for guns

And they are for people donating to their campaigns annoymously.

Double standard much??

disgusting even more

How come Republicans are so quick to send soldiers to war yet they hate them when they return? Latest example I present

You should be ashamed of yourself if you endorse this shit. More proof how Republicans hate the people who's right it is to vote

Really??

So Republicans are blocking President Obama's nominee for Surgeon General because he is anti gun. Which as I've mentioned many times is only used to take lives. Which isn't healthy last I checked.  Now a Surgeon General would be nice to have with the Ebola scare that's happening right now.

But that doesn't stop idiots like Ted Cruz

Life Liberty and the rest

So really who is for life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Life...Republicans are only for life until you are born. After that people are on their own. They don't care. And even though they claim they are pro life, they are usually pro gun which is a method only used to take lives.

Liberty.. Republicans are passing laws making it hard for basic rights like the right to vote. Why if Republicans want fair elections would they hate people voting??

The pursuit of happiness.. Who is against people who happen to be in the same sex wanting to marry? You guessed it..

So really who wants to hurt America with their basic rights?? Yup Republicans

Sunday, October 12, 2014

Preach on Bernie Sanders. Remind the idiot Republicans who is really responsible for the mess in Iraq

Impeach

So called Supreme Court Justice Scalia needs to be impeached immediately. The reason being in his own words he said he doesn't believe in the constitution of the United States.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/antonin-scalia-says-constitution-permits-court-to-favor-religion-over-non-religion/ar-BB75vV4

The Constitution CLEARLY states no law favoring religion.

wondering

Despite what people claim we are not a Christian nation. That being said we have freedom of speech inn this country.

Point is with those facts in mind and we are getting soon with the right complaining about people saying happy holidays why does it matter whether people say merry Christmas or happy hollidays.

Double Standard Much??

I need to remind you about something

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/republican-national-committee-spent-2-000-west-hollywood-strip-club-voyeur-article-1.163989

That shows when the hypocrites at the RNC spent a boatload of money at a strip club. I don't really care except for they are the ones who preach values.

The reason why this is important is Kansas. Their Gov is in trouble in this election. There is a good chance he's going down cause of his horrible policies. That being said the only dirt the GOP has been able to dig up is the Democratic nominee visited a strip club in 1998.

Bad

http://freenorthcarolina.blogspot.com/2014/09/parents-outraged-over-hitler-george-w.html

As someone who is Jewish (yes I know my last post) I always hate comparisons to nazi, Hitler, anything to that effect. Republicans do it all the time and I truly think they don't understand the magnitude of what that psychopath did.

That being said right or wrong I feel I must be consistent with my views. So I'm equally disgusted to find a teacher had an assignment to compare President Bush to Hitler. That isn't right and that teacher should be punished. Even though if you look at the facts of history there are ties between his family and that "person" but still nothing will ever

http://www.rense.com/general40/bushfamilyfundedhitler.htm

But nothing will compare how the right CONSTANTLY compares President Obama to that freak.

Really

So the right attacks President Obama for issuing executive orders (within his right) yet the Republicans in Congress refuse to bring things up for votes (you know, THEIR JOB)

Wonder why nothing gets done??

Friday, September 05, 2014

The real problem

So Los Angeles wants to have a lottery type system to try to encourage people to vote. I have a few ideas to remedy that.

I've said it before I'll say it again. I think the right to vote is our most sacred right. To me there is no more honor then voting. That's why I'm hard on people who vote to restrict voting. AKA most recently the Supreme Court.

First not so many propositions. Really most of them should be settled in Sacramento.but lazy people there don't do the work.

Second there are too many elections. 3 sometimes 4 a year. There should be a  primary, then general election. a 3rd if a runoff is necessary

Third ads. There are too many ads. There should be a limit. I'm already hearing ads about a prop in November. It's stupid. And that is thanks to Citizens United.

Fourth there needs to be people we can have faith in. Usually the choices are between the lesser of two evils. People who instead of tell us what they want to do they attack the other person. Then they get to office and do nothing. That is a turnoff

A sad reminder

With news of the beheading of journalist Steven Sotloff I'm sure we are going to hear, especially from the nuts like insane McCain and Graham, how President Obama needs to shoot first shoot last and shoot them dead.

I think something needs to be said about choice which is a consistent cry from the right wing. He made a choice to report from that reason. Sadly there were consequences based on that choice. But before President Obama goes in guns blazing what about the personal choice Sotloff made??

reality

Reality of life is it's not always fair. Michael Sam showed in the pre season that he is good enough to play in the NFL. Problem was the team that drafted him, the St. Louis Rams, is very deep on the defensive line which is where Sam played.

So while Sam showed he is good enough, he got cut by the Rams. Hopefully a team will pick him up as he deserves a shot.

Just A Question

So to those on the right who are calling Michael Brown a "thug" (specifically Jonah Goldberg, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Rush the drug addict) why exactly did he do to deserve getting killed by that cop Darren Wilson??

Facts are
A) Police accused him of stealing from a store
B) No 911 call was placed from the store
C) Video shows him paying for the items from the store

Even if he did steal from the store, he is entitled to due process from this country. Not to be tried and executed.

So why did he deserve to die??

Double Standard

So I'd like to talk about the NFL'S double standard. You see players like Josh Gordon (deserving) get suspended for drug use, alcohol whatever. And they should

Ray Rice hits his girlfriend gets a slap on the wrist which is disgusting.

Where is Jim Irsay's, owner of the Colts, suspension?? He was arrested during the off season and yet the NFL is completely silent about that..

Double standard much??

http://mediamatters.org/video/2014/08/01/mark-levin-jewish-obama-donors-are-self-haters/200293

LIAR LIAR YOUR PANTS ON FIRE

So Ted Cruz, someone Republicans will probably run in 2016, father said how President Obama wants to take your guns (which he hasn't) and like every other Republican since they cannot make a logical argument for that pulls out the Communist card

http://crooksandliars.com/2014/07/rafael-cruz-hits-campaign-trail-crazy

USC..Classless

For full disclosure I am a UCLA fan. That being said I really have to wonder why USC has said that Pete Carroll is going to be inducted in their hall of fame. I mean really what example has he set? When the going get tough the tough leave for the NFL? I mean there was investigation after penalty by the NCAA under his leadership and he gets rewarded?? Something doesn't seem right about that

Being liberal this might surprise you but I have no sympathy in what happened with that "botched" execution in Arizona. None. You see I'm a firm believer in a trial system. He was tried, convicted and sentenced. If things didn't go smoothly tough.

To Understand

I gave the Rams a lot of credit for drafting Michael Sam, the first openly gay player to be drafted in the NFL, I hope he's good enough to make the team but if he's not he will be cut. It's that simple.

That being said I'd like to point out comments that former coach Tony Dungy said saying how he would never draft him because he's "too much of a distraction".

I find those comment ironic considering how he has supported Michael Vick who was properly JAILED for dog fighting. He's willing to give him chances yet not Michael Sam who has done nothing wrong.

That is being a hypocrite.

One More Thing

If you are pro Christian you need to be against guns. Thou shalt not kill. By the way how many more have to get hurt unnecessarily

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/07/05/11-year-old-ca-boy-hospitalized-after-being-shot-in-chest-by-14-year-old-boy/

You're WRONG

so for those conservatives (Robert on this site) who have claimed that this is a "Christian Nation" obviously have either no concept why we were founded or they must hate it. Either way. You want proof how WE ARE NOT DETERMINED TO BE A CHRISTIAN NATION I present quotes from the people who founded it:

1. “If I could conceive that the general government might ever be so administered as to render the liberty of conscience insecure, I beg you will be persuaded, that no one would be more zealous than myself to establish effectual barriers against the horrors of spiritual tyranny, and every species of religious persecution.”
~Founding Father George Washington, letter to the United Baptist Chamber of Virginia, May 1789

2. “Of all the animosities which have existed among mankind, those which are caused by a difference of sentiments in religion appear to be the most inveterate and distressing, and ought to be deprecated. I was in hopes that the enlightened and liberal policy, which has marked the present age, would at least have reconciled Christians of every denomination so far that we should never again see the religious disputes carried to such a pitch as to endanger the peace of society.”
~Founding Father George Washington, letter to Edward Newenham, October 20, 1792
3. “We have abundant reason to rejoice that in this Land the light of truth and reason has triumphed over the power of bigotry and superstition… In this enlightened Age and in this Land of equal liberty it is our boast, that a man’s religious tenets will not forfeit the protection of the Laws, nor deprive him of the right of attaining and holding the highest Offices that are known in the United States.”
~Founding Father George Washington, letter to the members of the New Church in Baltimore, January 27, 1793
4. “The United States of America have exhibited, perhaps, the first example of governments erected on the simple principles of nature; and if men are now sufficiently enlightened to disabuse themselves of artifice, imposture, hypocrisy, and superstition, they will consider this event as an era in their history. Although the detail of the formation of the American governments is at present little known or regarded either in Europe or in America, it may hereafter become an object of curiosity. It will never be pretended that any persons employed in that service had interviews with the gods, or were in any degree under the influence of Heaven, more than those at work upon ships or houses, or laboring in merchandise or agriculture; it will forever be acknowledged that these governments were contrived merely by the use of reason and the senses.”
~John Adams, “A Defence of the Constitutions of Government of the United States of America” 1787-1788

5. “The Government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion.”
~1797 Treaty of Tripoli signed by Founding Father John Adams

6. “Thirteen governments [of the original states] thus founded on the natural authority of the people alone, without a pretence of miracle or mystery, and which are destined to spread over the northern part of that whole quarter of the globe, are a great point gained in favor of the rights of mankind.”
~Founding Father John Adams, “A Defence of the Constitutions of Government of the United States of America” (1787-88)
7. “We should begin by setting conscience free. When all men of all religions shall enjoy equal liberty, property, and an equal chance for honors and power we may expect that improvements will be made in the human character and the state of society.”
~Founding FatherJohn Adams, letter to Dr. Price, April 8, 1785
8. “I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibit the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state.”
~Founding Father Thomas Jefferson, letter to the Baptists of Danbury, Connecticut, 1802
9. “In every country and in every age, the priest has been hostile to liberty. He is always in alliance with the despot, abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own. It is error alone that needs the support of government. Truth can stand by itself.”
~Founding Father Thomas Jefferson, in a letter to Horatio Spofford, 1814

10. “Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, then that of blindfolded fear.”
~Founding Father Thomas Jefferson, letter to Peter Carr, August 10, 1787

11. “I am for freedom of religion and against all maneuvers to bring about a legal ascendancy of one sect over another.”
~Founding Father Thomas Jefferson, letter to Elbridge Gerry, January 26, 1799
12. “History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance of which their civil as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purposes.”
~Founding Father Thomas Jefferson: in letter to Alexander von Humboldt, December 6, 1813
13. “Because religious belief, or non-belief, is such an important part of every person’s life, freedom of religion affects every individual.
State churches that use government power to support themselves and force their views on persons of other faiths undermine all our civil rights. Moreover, state support of the church tends to make the clergy unresponsive to the people and leads to corruption within religion. Erecting the “wall of separation between church and state,” therefore, is absolutely essential in a free society. We have solved … the great and interesting question whether freedom of religion is compatible with order in government and obedience to the laws. And we have experienced the quiet as well as the comfort which results from leaving every one to profess freely and openly those principles of religion which are the inductions of his own reason and the serious convictions of his own inquiries.”
~Founding Father Thomas Jefferson: in a speech to the Virginia Baptists, 1808
14. “Christianity neither is, nor ever was a part of the common law.”
~Founding Father Thomas Jefferson, letter to Dr. Thomas Cooper, February 10, 1814,

15. “The civil government functions with complete success by the total separation of the Church from the State.”
~Founding Father James Madison, 1819, Writings, 8:432, quoted from Gene Garman, “Essays In Addition to America’s Real Religion”

16. “And I have no doubt that every new example will succeed, as every past one has done, in shewing that religion & Govt will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together.”
~Founding Father James Madison, letter to Edward Livingston, July 10, 1822
17. “Every new and successful example of a perfect separation between ecclesiastical and civil matters is of importance.”
~Founding Father James Madison, letter, 1822
18. “Strongly guarded as is the separation between Religion and Government in the Constitution of the United States, the danger of encroachment by Ecclesiastical Bodies, may be illustrated by precedents already furnished in their short history.”
~Founding Father James Madison; Monopolies, Perpetuities, Corporations, Ecclesiastical
Endowments
19. “It is only when the people become ignorant and corrupt, when they degenerate into a populace, that they are incapable of exercising the sovereignty. Usurpation is then an easy attainment, and an usurper soon found. The people themselves become the willing instruments of their own debasement and ruin. Let us, then, look to the great cause, and endeavor to preserve it in full force. Let us by all wise and constitutional measures promote intelligence among the people as the best means of preserving our liberties.”
~Founding Father James Monroe, First Inaugural Address, March 4, 1817

20. “When a religion is good, I conceive it will support itself; and when it does not support itself, and God does not take care to support it so that its professors are obligated to call for help of the civil power, it’s a sign, I apprehend, of its being a bad one.”
~Founding Father Benjamin Franklin, letter to Richard Price, October 9, 1780

21. “Manufacturers, who listening to the powerful invitations of a better price for their fabrics, or their labor, of greater cheapness of provisions and raw materials, of an exemption from the chief part of the taxes burdens and restraints, which they endure in the old world, of greater personal independence and consequence, under the operation of a more equal government, and of what is far more precious than mere religious toleration–a perfect equality of religious privileges; would probably flock from Europe to the United States to pursue their own trades or professions, if they were once made sensible of the advantages they would enjoy, and were inspired with an assurance of encouragement and employment, will, with difficulty, be induced to transplant themselves, with a view to becoming cultivators of the land.”
~Founding Father Alexander Hamilton: Report on the Subject of Manufacturers December 5,
1791
22. “In regard to religion, mutual toleration in the different professions thereof is what all good and candid minds in all ages have ever practiced, and both by precept and example inculcated on mankind.”
~Samuel Adams, The Rights of the Colonists (1771)
23. “That religion, or the duty which we owe to our Creator, and the manner of discharging it, can be directed only by reason and conviction, not by force or violence; and therefore all men are equally entitled to the free exercise of religion, according to the dictates of conscience; and that it is the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forebearance, love, and charity towards each other.”
~Founding Father George Mason, Virginia Bill of Rights, 1776
24. “It is contrary to the principles of reason and justice that any should be compelled to contribute to the maintenance of a church with which their consciences will not permit them to join, and from which they can derive no benefit; for remedy whereof, and that equal liberty as well religious as civil, may be universally extended to all the good people of this commonwealth.”
~Founding Father George Mason, Virginia Declaration of Rights, 1776
25. “A man of abilities and character, of any sect whatever, may be admitted to any office or public trust under the United States. I am a friend to a variety of sects, because they keep one another in order. How many different sects are we composed of throughout the United States? How many different sects will be in congress? We cannot enumerate the sects that may be in congress. And there are so many now in the United States that they will prevent the establishment of any one sect in prejudice to the rest, and will forever oppose all attempts to infringe religious liberty. If such an attempt be made, will not the alarm be sounded throughout America? If congress be as wicked as we are foretold they will, they would not run the risk of exciting the resentment of all, or most of the religious sects in America.”
~Founding Father Edmund Randolph, address to the Virginia Ratifying Convention, June
10, 1788
26. “I never liked the Hierarchy of the Church — an equality in the teacher of Religion, and a dependence on the people, are republican sentiments — but if the Clergy combine, they will have their influence on Government”
~Founding Father Rufus King, Rufus King: American Federalist, pp. 56-57
27. A general toleration of Religion appears to me the best means of peopling our country… The free exercise of religion hath stocked the Northern part of the continent with inhabitants; and altho’ Europe hath in great measure adopted a more moderate policy, yet the profession of Protestantism is extremely inconvenient in many places there. A Calvinist, a Lutheran, or Quaker, who hath felt these inconveniences in Europe, sails not to Virginia, where they are felt perhaps in a (greater degree).”
~Patrick Henry, observing that immigrants flock to places where there is no established religion, Religious Tolerance, 1766

28. “No religious doctrine shall be established by law.”
~Founding Father Elbridge Gerry, Annals of Congress 1:729-731

29. “Knowledge and liberty are so prevalent in this country, that I do not believe that the United States would ever be disposed to establish one religious sect, and lay all others under legal disabilities. But as we know not what may take place hereafter, and any such test would be exceedingly injurious to the rights of free citizens, I cannot think it altogether superfluous to have added a clause, which secures us from the possibility of such oppression.”
~Founding Father Oliver Wolcott, Connecticut Ratifying Convention, 9 January 1788
30. “Some very worthy persons, who have not had great advantages for information, have objected against that clause in the constitution which provides, that no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States. They have been afraid that this clause is unfavorable to religion. But my countrymen, the sole purpose and effect of it is to exclude persecution, and to secure to you the important right of religious
liberty. We are almost the only people in the world, who have a full enjoyment of this important right of human nature. In our country every man has a right to worship God in that way which is most agreeable to his conscience. If he be a good and peaceable person he is liable to no penalties or incapacities on account of his religious sentiments; or in other words, he is not subject to persecution. But in other parts of the world, it has been, and still is, far different. Systems of religious error have been adopted, in times of ignorance. It has been the interest of tyrannical kings, popes, and prelates, to maintain these errors. When the clouds of ignorance began to vanish, and the people grew more enlightened, there was no other way to keep them in error, but to prohibit their altering their religious opinions by severe persecuting laws. In this way persecution became general throughout Europe.”
~Founding Father Oliver Ellsworth, Philip B Kurland and Ralph Lerner (eds.), The Founder’s Constitution, University of Chicago Press, 1987, Vol. 4, p.
638
31. “Persecution is not an original feature in any religion; but it is always the strongly marked feature of all religions established by law. Take away the law-establishment, and every religion re-assumes its original benignity.”
~Thomas Paine, The Rights of Man, 1791
32. “God has appointed two kinds of government in the world, which are distinct in their nature, and ought never to be confounded together; one of which is called civil, the other ecclesiastical government.”
~Founding Father Isaac Backus, An Appeal to the Public for Religious Liberty, 1773
33. “Congress has no power to make any religious establishments.”
~Founding Father Roger Sherman, Congress, August 19, 1789
34. “The American states have gone far in assisting the progress of truth; but they have stopped short of perfection. They ought to have given every honest citizen an equal right to enjoy his religion and an equal title to all civil emoluments, without obliging him to tell his religion. Every interference of the civil power in regulating opinion, is an impious attempt to take the business of the Deity out of his own hands; and every preference given to any religious denomination, is so far slavery and bigotry.”
~Founding Father Noah Webster, calling for no religious tests to serve in public office, Sketches of American Policy, 1785

35. “The legislature of the United States shall pass no law on the subject of religion.”
~Founding Father Charles Pinckney, Constitutional Convention, 1787

And really you are nothing but phonies anyway. I'm no fan of religion but I'm sure the bible preaches about helping man loving thy neighbor but all the right wing conservatives want to do is literally kill them. They don't care

Just wondering

So with the Supreme Court saying your religious beliefs trump everything else does that mean I can feed people to lions cause that's what my religious beliefs are?? Or I can shoot up a bunch of people cause my religious beliefs say so (to those monitoring this site this is hypothetical. I hate guns)

I mean that is exactly what the Supreme Court said yesterday

Monday, June 30, 2014

No More People

We the people..Remember that?? Apparently the Supreme Court doesn't. Unless you are a business. Big business. Every time they win with this disgusting court.

Citizens?? Not so much.

They gut the constitution and it's time THE SUPREME COURT GETS IMPEACHED

About Time

About time people stand up to the people who lied to get us to invade Iraq.

Hypocrisy

So the continued hypocrisy on the right considering voting right and the Republicans lack of caring by passing voter laws THAT PROHIBIT PEOPLE FROM VOTING I present this

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/06/24/wisconsin-republican-donor-busted-for-voting-5-times-in-gov-scott-walkers-recall-election/

REPUBLICANS AND FRAUD! What a shock

All

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/06/23/georgia-gop-candidate-jody-hice-muslims-not-protected-by-the-first-amendment/

This Jody Hice, candidate (GOP OF COURSE) in Georgia doesn't think Muslims are protected by the first amendment, which last I checked WAS FREEDOM OF RELIGION!

Freedom of religion applies TO ALL RELIGION NO MATTER WHAT YOU THINK OF THEM.

FUCK YOU

Arrest Him

http://crooksandliars.com/2014/06/bobby-jindahl-promotes-hostile-takeover

It's very simple, Bachman, Palin, Jindahl, Rush, so many others have openly called for a campaign of violence against the government. It's called treason. They should all be arrested immediately

Sunday, June 22, 2014

Let Me See if I understand this

The GOP, which had no problems with funding a war we will pay forever, the GOP who doesn't care if soldiers die based on lies by the President, Vice President, Sec. of State, Sec. of Defense, doesn't care if the soldiers rot after they return.

Stay Classy

The media is what??

If you have any doubt the media is purely right wing I bring you what's happening now in Iraq. Instead of bringing on people who, were and are against the war and any more troops in Iraq we get nothing but Cheney, McCain, Rumsfeld, and anyone and everyone who gave us the lies and deceit in the original occupation 10 years ago.

The media IS IN NO WAY LEFT WING

Friday, June 13, 2014

Please for the love of god SHUT UP

I think John McCain needs a history lesson

The Bush Administration LIED UNDER OATH to get us into Iraq. He said "there were weapons of mass destruction" we had no business to be there to begin with. That is the facts. We were told we would be greeted as liberators, we were told the oil in Iraq would pay for the war. We were completely lied to.

Soldiers lives were lost based on lies and ego.

That being said with the current unrest in Iraq John McCain SHUT THE FUCK UP ASSHOLE

How Many More

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/06/10/police-respond-to-report-shooting-at-oregon-high-school/

How many more have to die??

Monday, June 09, 2014

Two things

First the usual how many more have to die before we can enforce the "WELL REGULATED MILITIA" which the constitution says after the latest shootout in Las Vegas.

But I also wonder how many more of these shooting until people like Sean Hannity and druggie Limbaugh need to be held as accessories to crimes?

I ask because if you recall a few weeks ago where they made a hero out of Cliven Bundy, who was basically a nutjob who refused to pay millions of dollars of fees HE LEGALLY OWED THE GOVERNMENT for his cattle grazing on Government land, the right made a hero out of him even though he is clearly a criminal.

So what happened Sunday in Vegas is the two shooters spend time on Bundy's ranch just outside of Vegas, heard nothing about hatred of the Government, and shot two police officers who were just there having lunch and a person who was doing their business at a Wall Mart.

Congrats Hannity, Rush, blood is on your hands.

No Soul or compassion

I am not a religious person. I feel more harm is done in the name of god then anything else. And I also feel while people praise god for everything that is good in their lives, why don't they blame god for everything that is bad?? Shouldn't it go both ways??

That being said these so called right wing religious assholes who ALWAYS pull out the nazi card absolutely disgust me. The latest Tony Perkins

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/06/06/tony-perkins-christians-forced-to-bake-cakes-for-gays-like-forcing-jews-into-nazi-ovens/

He actually compares Christians having to bake cakes for homosexuals to Jewish people being forced into nazi ovens.

Disgusting.

They can't win  an argument logically so the right ALWAYS pulls out the nazi card.

What happened

So the right is attacking a POW who was released in Afghanistan. Disgusting. Would the right attack when a trade was arranged in the release of John McCain in Vietnam? IT WAS THE EXACT SAME THING!

You are disgusting trolls.

Saturday, May 31, 2014

No it wasn't

http://crooksandliars.com/2014/05/iowa-republican-senate-candidate-calls

So a candidate in Iowa called last weeks mass shooting "an accident".

No it wasn't. It was a thought out plan by someone who has mental issues that was still easily able to purchase guns cause of terrorist organizations like the NRA who don't want rules AND ENCOURAGE THIS BEHAVIOR

Sunday, May 25, 2014

Simple

It's very simple. If you are pro life you cannot be pro gun. Guns do NOTHING BUT TAKE LIVES! If you claim to be pro life and are pro gun you are nothing but a liar.

Saturday, May 24, 2014

Has to Happen

I know it won't but this has to happen:

The NRA needs to be declared a terrorist organization. The reason being is they do nothing but promote death and destruction of Americans.

Thursday, May 22, 2014

When he's right he's right

I'm probably the last person to give Bill O'Reilly credit but he deserves it this once

http://crooksandliars.com/cltv/2014/05/oreilly-and-rove-argue-over

He wouldn't let Rove place the full blame of the VA situation on Obama as Rove was trying to do. O'Reilly RIGHTFULLY pointed out this problem clearly existed under Bush.

So kudos to Bill O'Reilly

Sunday, May 18, 2014

You First

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/05/18/dick-cheney-wants-hillary-clinton-held-accountable-for-benghazi-terror-attacks/

So Cheney thinks Hillary Clinton needs to be held accountable for the banghazi attacks.

You first Mr. Cheney

You and Bush were told a terrorist attack was coming AND CHOSE TO IGNORE IT

Saturday, May 17, 2014

2016

So while everyone is speculating about 2016 I've tried to stay out of it since well it's only speculation at this point. I'd  like to talk about Jeb Bush who is probably going to run.

All Democrats will do if he does (and probably Republicans in the primary) will say is he's like his brother whose pollicies ruined this country and sent us to a great depression. That's a bad idea for the simple reason that all Bush would say is he isn't his brother. Either way let the catfights begin as I get the popcorn.

Monday, May 05, 2014

Congrats

Congrats to the United States Supreme Court on further eroding the Constitution in it's latest ruling IN FAVOR OF CHRISTIAN PRAYER. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Sunday, May 04, 2014

If Only

If only Republicans were as passionate when the report came out how Bush was told Bin Laden determined to attack the United States a month before the 9/11 terrorist attacks and how Rice lied under oath when she said the smoking gun is going to be a mushroom cloud as they are with Benghazzi.

Monday, April 28, 2014

Nope a Republican

http://crooksandliars.com/2014/04/nro-embarasses-itself-donald-sterling-not

Of course you know this was going to happen and of course they are as always wrong! The Right wing immediately went on the attack, not of Donald Sterling, but on Democrats by saying he was a Democrat. Now to me racism is racism I don't care who says it and what their political views are it's disgusting. Anyone who says otherwise is just as disgusting. But even worse given the hundreds of despicable comments Republicans have made about race especially after President Obama was elected President they should NEVER talk about it.

That being said since 1998 Sterling is a registered Republican.

Politics aside of that what can be done to Sterling. He has freedom of speech even to hate or not.

In California wiretapping is illegal so if this goes goes to court, he will win.

THE NBA really doesn't have much, yeah they suspend him and fine him but in the end they really can't force him to sell the team.

And if you think he is the only owner with those feeling you are wrong.

As for fans, yeah you might want to boycott but that doesn't hurt Sterling, it hurts the team, It hurts Paul, it hurts Griffin it hurts Doc Rivers it hurts the people who are working their asses off and having the teams most successful season. Sterling will still laugh all the way to the bank

Saturday, April 26, 2014

A Good Idea

http://crooksandliars.com/2014/04/california-considers-taxation-excessive

I like the idea of taxing CEO of corporations based on what their salary is. It's a good idea. It will never happen because of rulings like Citizens United where they will just spend unlimited amounts to get a bill blocked or if it does go through the companies will move out of state.

Friday, April 25, 2014

Doubling Down

So Nevada Rancher says he doesn't have freedom of speech and it's Dr. Martin Luther Kings fault

http://thinkprogress.org/media/2014/04/25/3430830/cliven-bundy-mlk/

Sorry you do. Otherwise respectable outlets like CNN and Disrespectable outlets like Fox News wouldn't give you platforms for you to say what you want. What you and a lot of the right don't get is YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR WORDS AND YOU WILL BE CALLED OUT ON THEM. If you don't like FULL FREEDOM OF SPEECH you should move out of the United States!

Thursday, April 24, 2014

The Company You Keep

You are a product of the company you keep. The Nevada Rancher who has become a hero for the right because he hates the Federal Government and refuses to pay fees that he owes stepped into it by making  racist comments

http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2014/04/24/3430265/bundy-racist-comments/

So add him to the guy from Duck Dynasty, Ted Nuggent all of them. If that who the right considers the best and brightest well it says something.

No Pat. Absolutely Not

So Pat Robertson wants an end to the separation of church and state "nonsense"

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/04/24/pat-robertson-stop-the-church-state-separation-nonsense-before-atheists-take-over-everything/

Allow me to speak for every sane person in America in a HELL NO

There is a reason our founding fathers put that in.

What Free Market

One of the constant cries from Republicants is the markets should decide for themselves on products.

Ladies and gentlemen I present the latest hypocrisy from the GOP:

http://thinkprogress.org/climate/2014/04/16/3427392/oklahoma-fee-solar-wind/

Oklahoma, in an attempt to get people to NOT decide what they want to do to lower electric bills, just passed and signed a law charging a tax to those who use solar energy for their homes and businesses.

So much for the free market.

Tuesday, April 22, 2014

A Good Choice

Kudos to the Supreme Court for letting the states decide if they want affirmative action. I thought they should overturn it completely cause colleges and employers need to hire or bring in the best people regardless of race.

Tuesday, April 15, 2014

The obvious hypocrites

I keep hearing from Republicants and their pundits how people keep mooching off the Government. I'd like to bring to your attention the Nevada Rancher who is in a standoff with the government. For the record let me state the facts of this case:

His heard is grazing on FEDERAL LAND

He REFUSES TO PAY THE FINE

Armed Militia are illegally helping him by sending people who illegally bring guns across state lines.

So in reality HE IS MOOCHING OFF THE GOVERNMENT

Oh wait he is white so that's why the right loves him

Monday, April 14, 2014

Just Go

So Mike Huckabee thinks North Korea has more freedom then the United States. I suggest if he really feels that way go there. Him and everyone. You don't like it here leave. You are not wanted or needed.

And by the way anyone who uses the Nazi argument like he did automatically loses the argument.

http://thinkprogress.org/world/2014/04/14/3426240/huckabee-north-korea/

Tuesday, April 08, 2014

Really

So I read a  letter in the L.A. Times where the writer said how the person who killed people in Ft. Hood last week "deserved better".

He made a choice. The military is voluntary. He made a choice to shoot people. He made a choice to kill people. He had easy access to guns and thought that was the right thing to do.

The only better he deserved was to be hung.

Sunday, April 06, 2014

One More Thing

I find it odd how Congress is willing to send billions of dollars to foreign countries like Ukraine BUT they refuse to spend funds here. They really hate America.

Saturday, April 05, 2014

Phony Argument

One of the phony arguments Republicants make is about state rights. Like they really care about that. Like Robert made when I made how Republicants are against things well LIKE PEOPLE VOTING! My question to Robert what about an individuals right?? DO they not matter?? The right to vote is in something Republicants heard of the constitution. But the only thing that matters to them in the constitution is the 2nd amendment. They don't give a shit fuck or damn about anything else.

Thursday, April 03, 2014

More gutting

So the Supreme Court rules YET AGAIN against democracy and in favor of money laundering and outright bribery as they rule no limits on political contributions.

This court is disgusting

Wednesday, March 26, 2014

Religious Freedom

Congress shall make no law recognizing religion. That's what the amendment says. Now I say this because of the case of Hobby Lobby bringing to the Supreme Court how the Healthcare Law violates their religious freedom.

Bullshit

In NO WAY does the law say you can't worship or do whatever the hell you want in terms of religion. And I wonder (I think the Supreme Court will rule in favor of Hobby Lobby by the way) does that mean I can shoot people cause I think they are threatening my religious freedom??

Saturday, March 22, 2014

Careful What You Wish For

Many years ago then President Bill Clinton signed a law the Republicans passed that de-regulated the cable industry. What the Republicans always claim is that it creates options and gives customers more choices.

That, as always, is bullshit! You see what it does is it creates mergers, when companies merge they create FEWER options. When fewer options are available companies can outrageously raise prices and make FEWER people afford things.

I also bring that to the Dodgers, the Dodgers had the choice to go with a few options, they chose Time Warner Cable (thank you since I have it). For those millions in the Los Angeles area that do not have it, they are screwed.

Welcome to de-regualtion.

Saturday, February 15, 2014

Friday, January 31, 2014

way to much

This is ONLY a New Jersey issue. Of course Christie new about the bridge closing. Shit like that happens more too many times. Only reason it's going national is because if Christie runs for President as a not insane Republican he would more then likely win.

http://thinkprogress.org/home/2014/01/31/3236191/christie-aide-says-governor-aware-lane-closures/

Wednesday, January 29, 2014

Really

There are so many ego's in the Republican party they had to have 4 responses to the State of the Union yesterday??

http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/multiple-gop-responses-to-state-of-the-union-are-they-a-sign-of-party-division/2014/01/28/0d1c68c0-883b-11e3-916e-e01534b1e132_story.html

Imagine the outrage if it was the other way.

Saturday, January 25, 2014

What should be done

This is something long overdue. President Obama needs to label groups like the NRA a TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. As we have ANOTHER MASS SHOOTING, this time in a mall near Baltimore the NRA does nothing but promote VIOLENCE against the citizens of the United States.

This is what needs to be done

Monday, January 13, 2014

Talking Steriods

I'm not a fan of Alex Rodriguez. I truly THINK he did as accused of steroids. It's my opinion and only that. However I think that Major League Baseball IS WRONG in this case. According the the collective bargaining agreement it clearly states that the only way a player could be suspended is if he tested positive. And the rules of the suspension are shown as the 1st time 25 games, 2nd time 50 games 3rd time you are out of the game.

That being said since AROD never tested positive, MLB has no right to suspend him.

Sunday, January 12, 2014

Really

So the met understand.... Republicans are willing to pay for wars, tax cuts for the wealthy without offset spending but something like unemployment benefits they are not?

Hypocrites

Saturday, January 11, 2014

Double Standard

I'd like to talk about the double standards from the right wing of this country. First I'd like to give a statement that drug addict Limbaugh said:

LIMBAUGH: So the states, when you've got people like Holder and Obama in office, it doesn't matter what governors do, it doesn't matter what the people of the state want. What Holder and Obama want is what's going to happen.  Holder does not have this kind of power or authority, but he does if nobody is going to stop him or challenge him.
[...]
So the law doesn't mean anything. Existing law doesn't mean anything if changes to it are being contemplated, and so the people of Utah -- same-sex marriage, yes, no, are now victims, and the federal government is just going to ride in and wave the powerful magic wand and say, "This is the way it's gonna be."  So who needs governors?  You have the attorney general engaging in executive actions, executive orders, just as if Obama were to do it.  Stalinists, folks.

So Limbaugh says to give Utah what they want to do.

Now here is Eric Cantor doing the exact opposite of what Limbaugh just did by attacking New York Mayor De Blasio over eduction:

As usual the GOP wants it both ways

Wednesday, January 08, 2014

Hypocirtes

Showing how ignorant the right is as always they somehow never seem to talk about Climate Change when it's hot, like it's been here in California, but they only talk about it when we have record cold which IS A RESULT OF CLIMATE CHANGE IDIOTS

Saturday, January 04, 2014

Times need to change

I would like to talk about free speech and how it doesn't always work out. Especially if you are speaking in favor of pro-gay rights. The latest is a former NFL player Chris Kluwe. He was a punter for Minnesota until he was released.

http://americablog.com/2014/01/vikings-deny-kluwe-fired-pro-gay.html

He feels he was released because he is outspoken in his pro-gay rights beliefs. And he may have standing. Last year, Brendon Ayanbadejo of the Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens, was unable to sign with a team. He is also outspoken in favor of gay rights.

In the NBA no one signed Jason Collins after he came out as being gay.

There is free speech here last I checked.
