A Grim Day

So 10 years ago yesterday was one of the most grim days in American History. The Supreme Court decided YOUR vote did not matter and awarded the 2000 election to George Bush. And look where we today cause of it.

Who is really to blame?

So with all the anger directed to President Obama I would like to ask who is really to blame? (And no I'm not going to blame the enemy party on this) Democrats in the Senate had this for a long time and they, instead of putting to a vote in say, the summer, put it off until the last minute. What did you think the enemy party would do? They had nothing to lose. They were in a position of strength on this from my view because they control the media and no matter what happened Obama would be to blame as they always do.

Take a look if the tax cuts expired the right wing media would call him a tax raiser (which is a lie) and now since he reached an agreement he is known by the same right wing media as someone who caves.

Tuesday, December 07, 2010

Deal or....

So the Pres made a deal with the enemy party on tax cuts( that is my name for Republicans from now on the enemy party). I don't understand the anger directed toward the President. If no deal was reached with the enemy party, tax cuts for people who need them were expiring and those who were already hurting would hurt even more. The benefits would run out for those who need jobs, and it would make a bad situation created by the enemy party even worse. But really I always wonder why the enemy party always talks about the deficit when the tax cuts the wealthy are creating a bigger deficit. Oh yeah I always forget the enemy party is a bunch of hypocrites.

Some facts

I think we need to re-visit some history... President Bill Clinton raised taxes.... we had the one of the greatest economic booms in history. We had a huge budget surplus. We had low unemployment and times were good. Bush took over. Gave tax cuts to the wealthy. They, instead of using the Republican trickle down theory which never works, pocketed the money. Jobs started to go, the deficit ran wild (as it always does under Republican rule) and we were on the verge of a second great depression.

Who had a better economic policy?

Double Standard

I am probably the last person who anyone would think would defend USC considering I am a UCLA fan but I have to in the case. The NCAA just set a dangerous double standard where USC was (I feel rightfully) punished for breaking NCAA rules in the Reggie Bush case yet Auburn (the evidence is there) gets off without anything in Cam Newton case. Both have many of the same cases when it comes to their parents and both should be treated in the same manor. NCAA you screwed up completely and since you let Auburn go you should reinstate USC immediately.

Isn't it obvious

Isn't it obvious insane John McCain is a liar? He said he'll listen to the soldiers on the ground, he said he'll listen to the Generals, he said he would wait for the Pentagon report and if told to repeal the horrible Don't Ask Don't Tell policy (signed by Bill Clinton for a strange reason) he would.. Well now that the report was released saying how soldiers wouldn't care if there were openly gay soldiers in their unit his response "the wrong questions were asked". Just say what you are really thinking which is of course you don't want gay soldiers in the military instead of hiding this obvious fact you damn liar.

Thursday, December 02, 2010

This is a priority?

So Republicans sent a letter saying they are going to block ALL legislation until they get their tax cuts for the millionaires. What does that say about bi-partisanship? What does that say how they feel about people who actually deserve tax cuts? What does it say how they feel about America? It says like everything else they do is they hate Americans and they hate the worker.

Wednesday, December 01, 2010

Do it finally

So Robert Gates released the long awaited report about don't ask don't tell. It said what sane people are saying and that most soldiers wouldn't care if it was repealed. OK Republicans other then racist homophobes (and yes being against gay people is considered racism) you have no more excuses other then that.

A smart state

So with the last votes counted and Harris winning the Attorney General job Democrats have a clean sweep in major offices in California. I hope lessons are learned like WE WON'T BE BOUGHT buy the likes of Whitman and Fiorina. We want candidates with ideas like Jerry Brown and not the same Republican ideas which ruined our state and country. If only the rest of the country was as smart as California.

What I'm Thankful for

This is something I try to do every Thanksgiving. This year is different with what has happened to me personally and emotionally this year. It's very simple I'm Thankful I'm alive. For the few who come here that aren't my friends I woke up one morning after thinking I had the flu and I couldn't walk. I had to go to go the hospital in an ambulance and was scared to death. I have never experienced anything like that before and I don't wish that experience on anyone. I was lucky it turned out to be an infection in my leg and nothing worse. Three days in the hospital and three weeks on an iv later I was fine and on the plus side that caused me to start to lose a lot of weight. I'm down 77 pounds this year and hope to continue to lose weight. I'm working my ass off in the process. This was also a tough year emotionally with the loss of my father who I miss terribly. He was a victim of a death panel that was before the healthcare bill passed when his insurance company told him they wouldn't put him on the list for a kidney transplant because he was too old. (Yes I'm still pissed off about that). Quite simply (I probably will repost this at sometime around New Year) appreciate your friends, appreciate your family and even if you don't have everything appreciate what you do have cause it can be taken away in an instant.

Get a life

So let me get this straight. People complain we aren't safe. Something is being done at the airports, and the same people are complaining how it's an invasion of privacy? Today a group is wanting to protest the most busy travel day of the year by having people not take the body scan and take a pat down.
http://www.optoutday.com/
If you actually look at this site you can see the tea party idiots. You can't want security and complain when you get it. LOSERS! Really all you are going to do is piss off a lot of people who just want to get to their destination.

But on a happy note I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

Where are they

So Republicans it's been 20 days since you took Congress.. WHERE THE HELL ARE THE JOBS?

Saturday, November 20, 2010

Where it's due

I always believe in giving credit where it's due. MSNBC suspended Joe Scarborough for violating the same rule Keith Olbermann did. You see not to be confused I felt they were on Olbermann cause he donated to Democrats when it was public knowledge other people on the network donated to Republicans. I was wrong and I admit it.

For the record I support the rule and wish it would apply to ALL journalists. I thought it was selectively enforced which is the problem I had.

Justice for all

So the latest  outrage from the right is how they dislike out justice system. That's right ladies and gentlemen they don't like it. Recently an alleged terrorist, Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani was tried in a civilian court and was acquitted on most charges for the simple reason the person was tortured (which is ILLEGAL). Idiots like Rep King of New York said the verdict "demonstrates the absolute insanity of the Obama administration to try Al Qaeda terrorists in civilian courts". No actually you moron it shows exactly how OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM WORKS! If this was a military tribunal the same thing would have happened. Like I said it's latest showing how REPUBLICANS HATE AMERICA!

By the way REPUBLICANS WHERE ARE THE JOBS

Wednesday, November 17, 2010

TSA

So the latest is people complaining about the new TSA procedures at airports. Really the solution is simple.. If you don't like it don't fly. Sorry but what does it hurt to get there early. It's for your safety.

Also it's been 15 days since the Republicans took Congress.... WHERE ARE THE JOBS?

Tuesday, November 16, 2010

Let's face facts

A lot of Republicans are blaming Michael Steele for not gaining control of the Senate. I hate to let a few facts get in the way of a few things but let's face it... The candidates lost because THEY WERE AWFUL. The same applies to Democrats as well.

And it's been two weeks since Republicans took Congress WHERE ARE THE JOBS

Monday, November 15, 2010

By the way

It's been 13 days since Republicans took Congress.... WHERE ARE THE JOBS?

Huh??

There is an op ed piece in yesterdays Washington Post saying how for President Obama to be great he needs to announce immediately he is NOT running for re-election. I have an idea... After all wouldn't that logic apply to Boener and McConnell and all of the Republican idiots? Stupid piece and the post should NOT of posted that.

Thursday, November 11, 2010

By the way

It's been 9 days since Republicans took congress... WHERE ARE THE JOBS

Very Simple

SO idiot boy Bush has been going on tv saying how proud he is he ordered waterboarding. It's very simple. Waterboarding is illegal, the former (thank god) President ordered it, the former President should be arrested and prosecuted. End of story.

Wednesday, November 10, 2010

Where are they

It's been 8 days since the Republicans took Congress... WHERE ARE THE JOBS??

(Yes I know they don't officially start to January BUT they were doing the exact same thing to the President after he got elected)

Tuesday, November 09, 2010

Just as we thought we were safe....

Just as we thought we were safe Idiot Boy President George Bush is back among us. Attempting to sell us that he isn't a bad guy and wasn't the worst President in modern history. All we need is to take a look at the economic conditions we are now in courtesy of his policies to remember that. But as always Bush gets the free ride.

Monday, November 08, 2010

If only

Of only the rules that applied to Kieth Olbermann applied to Republicans on tv and radio. He was suspended from MSNBC for exercising his first amendment right (according ti citizens united) for donating to Democrats during the campaign. That rule doesn't apply to Kudlow, who donates to Republicans, and Scarborough, who also donates to Republicans, but it applies to Olbermann, who donates to Democrats.

If the same double-standard applied to Fox, who donated millions to Republicans, they wouldn't have anyone on tv.

The late word was Olbermann will be back on Tuesday
http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/11/keith-olbermann-returns-msnbc-tuesday-network-president/

Thursday, November 04, 2010

One More thing

How come really the right wing media is not talking about how the tea party only really got one person elected to the Senate in Rand Paul? O'Donnell, Angle,Buck, Miller all lost (or appear to be losing) I think that should be a topic of conversation.

Wednesday, November 03, 2010

Careful What you wish for

I guess Republicans are right. They think you are stupid. You voted for the people who put America in the mess we are in right now. You voted for people who would allow more incidents in the Gulf with the oil spill. Congrats America you are going to get what you asked for and don't come running to me when I'm proven right.

Tuesday, November 02, 2010

The big day

So it's the big day. I've given many reasons never to vote for Republicans but the choice is yours. Do you want to keep the country moving forward or backward. It's up to you. I'll update my twitter feed with results.

Monday, November 01, 2010

By the way

I would like to thanks Meg Whitman for endorsing Jerry Brown. That's right she did. In a political add she said how great things were 30 years ago. Jerry Brown was Gov. 30 years ago. So thank you.

And if you really want to know what the tea party is, it's the right wing of the Republican Party. No movement. They are the extreme of the right wing.

What do you want?

Tomorrow is the election. (thank god no political ads for a bit anyway). Really it's a question of what you want. Do you want a return of policies that almost led to a depression?
Do you want people who WILL NOT vote with your best interest unless you are a billionare?
Do you want people who say they will gut programs like social security?
Do you want people who say they will not govern?
Do you want people who don't identify with the middle class worker?

If the answer to any of those questions are yes, feel free to vote Republican.

Top 5

So hear are my top 5 favorite horror films. This is my opinion which we know what it means :)

5) The Shining
4) Rosemary's Baby
3) Psycho
2) Jaws
1) Exorcist

The Difference

I hope you see a difference between a President who actually cares about National Security and one who really doesn't. President Obama was advised of a planned attack and had authorities stop it while Bush was told a month in advance "Bin Laden planning a massive attack" and chose to ignore it. Good job Mr. President.

Now don't get me wrong an attack can happen at anytime but in this President I believe he, if told, will do everything in his power to stop it.

Wednesday, October 27, 2010

A Couple of things

One last thing on the Juan Williams situation. I hear from the right about how they want a free market and all that BS but what happens in a free market is you can hire and fire anyone you please. What happened to Williams was exactly what should happen in a free market.

Now I would like to talk about the latest in attacks on Democrats by right wing nut jobs.
http://mediamatters.org/research/201010260050
There was a rally for Rand Paul and a moveon supporter basically got stomped in the head by a Rand Paul supporter. The right encourages this behavior and its disgusting and until either the drug addict and sick Beck etc. start to condemn these attacks as far as I'm concerned they should be arrested as accessories to these crimes.

More proof

http://thinkprogress.org/2010/10/25/mcconnell-obama-one-term/

I want to give you proof how Republicans have no ideas  I give you Mitch McConnell. He said the most important job  if he is Senate Majority leader is to make sure President Obama is a one term President. Funny I thought the job of the Senate was was to make laws and amend laws. I guess he is following the racist drug addict Rush's  lead in trying to make Obama fail.

I realize it's long ago but I remember when Bush was appointed President how Democrats, who were in the minority working with him on things like the horrible Bankruptcy bill, no child left behind, the phony Iraq war.

Friday, October 22, 2010

Juan Williams and Ginny Thomas

So I got a couple of topics I want to cover. One of my views might surprise you one probably won't. First I want to talk about Conservative commentator Juan Williams. He was fired from NPR for saying on Bill O'Idiots show how uncomfortable he is when he sees Muslims on airplanes. I'm sorry but he is saying how a lot of people, wrongly, feel about Muslims especially after 9/11. He is one though who is instead of conquering, giving into his fears as is so many. People like him would rather hate people then extend an olive branch.

Speaking of olive branches, Anita Hill received an unusual message from the wife of Clarence Thomas saying how SHE should apologize for HER actions during Thomas' hearings when he was nominated for the Supreme Court. I have an idea... First George H.W. Bush should apologize for nominating the man who never asks questions and is known to fall asleep during sessions, Thomas should apologize for giving us the second Bush as well as the nightmare citizens united ruling which actually benefits his wife who has a political action committee. When those things happens we can talk.

Tuesday, October 19, 2010

2 weeks to go

To weeks to the election. I guess we'll find out if we will elect Republicans who say they won't govern or Democrats who will work for the people.

Sunday, October 17, 2010

An obvious lie

So after seeing Bill O'Idiot say all Muslims are terrorists (keep in mind how I've said many times how I feel about them) I was wondering on that obvious lie from him: Does he remember Oklahoma City? Last I checked they were NOT MUSLIMS! The Unabomber? NOT MUSLIM. Sorry Bill you are wrong YET AGAIN! But really though here is my question for all those who believe that: Did they expect there would be no response for our invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan? How many families did WE destroy? How many lives did WE ruin based on the lies of the previous administration? Remember for every action there is a reaction.

Monday, October 11, 2010

My idea

So Republicans talk about gutting Government. Here is my department I want eliminated: The Chamber of Commerce. All they do is shill for big business and they are hurting America. Gut them and some of the problem goes away.

Thursday, October 07, 2010

Yet Another Reason

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2602134/posts?page=152

This is yet another reason why Republicans should NEVER be in charge. The link shows where firefighters refused to put out a fire at a mans home because he refused to pay a $75 "fire protection fee". This is the America Republicans want. Private everything and if you can't afford or forget to pay you are shit out of luck. It's disgusting.

On a more pleasant note I'm going to San Francisco for a couple of days so if there are no posts you know.

Tuesday, October 05, 2010

Where were they

Just wondering if the media is so liberal why NO ONE has called out the tea party? Remember one of the reasons they claim to be upset is the deficit but they were SO QUIET when Republicans were RUNNING UP THE DEFICIT. They are nothing but liars. By the way under Democrats (not mentioned by the media and according the the CBO) the deficit DROPPED 13 % so far under the Obama Administration. So please SHUT THE HELL UP!

Sunday, October 03, 2010

To live in dreamland

So yesterday there was a piece on MSNBC about how sex scandels don't really matter anymore from political people. If you saw the piece they talked about how John Ensign, Sanford from South Carolina, David Vitter are still around. What you didn't see is how they were all Republicans. What you didn't see is how it ruined John Edwards, Gary Heart, Elliot Spitzer, Bill Clinton. You didn't see how the media destroyed the Democrats involved but ignored the Republicans. But if you believe the lying Republicans the media is liberal. My ass.

Bottom line

So with the revelation during the week by wasting time with taxpayer money Gloria Aldred that Meg Whitman I hope a couple of things will happen:

One: Whitman is a typical Republican. She lies.
Two: Whitman is a hypocrite. Again typical Republican
Three: More proof how nothing will ever be done by either party on illegal immigration. Republicans don't want to because they like cheap labor and Democrats don't want to cause they don't want to hurt their base.

You see really this isn't really an issue and not a reason not to vote for Whitman. There are many other reasons such as her record. All that this shows is she is a typical Republican

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

Lying Liars and the lies they tell

The latest big lie from Mitch McConnel is in an op-ed piece in USA Today yesterday.
http://www.usatoday.com/news/opinion/editorials/2010-09-28-editorial28_ST1_N.htm

He says if a bill passes that that calls for full disclosures in Political ads will hurt political speech. That is completely untrue. It doesn't say that you can't run ads the bill ACTUALLY says that anyone behind the ads needs to be named. It applies to corporations as well as anyone else. I guess though he can't read to find that out.

Just more proof how out of touch Republicans really are.

Monday, September 27, 2010

More proof

I often say how Republicans think Americans are stupid. John boner (not a typo) pretty much said that here.

http://thinkprogress.org/2010/09/26/boehner-pledge-problem-not-solution/

How many more reasons why Republicans should never have any power again do you want?

Saturday, September 25, 2010

At its best

Talk about the hypocrites at their best. The right were up in arms about Steven Colbert testifying before Congress on a serious matter. I seem to recall nothing but silence though when they had Elmo from Sesame Street testify when they were in charge. Want proof?
http://articles.cnn.com/2002-04-23/politics/elmo.hill_1_elmo-instruments-congressional-committee?_s=PM:ALLPOLITICS

Thursday, September 23, 2010

What they want

I think I know what Republicans want. They want a terrorist attack on U.S. soil. You've heard them, the hate they've been preaching, especially lately toward Muslims, they want American deaths so they can use that against President Obama and say he can't keep America safe (even though Bush was told an attack was coming and chose to ignore it). They don't care who gets hurt. They want a war.

Wednesday, September 22, 2010

What Happened

So what happened to those who say they listen to the soldiers in repealing don't ask don't tell? Several Republican Senators, including insane more of the same John McCain, said they would. When the head of the Joint Chiefs testified before Congress and the Senate saying the horrible Bill Clinton policy needs to go that it didn't make sense what happened? Of course the cowardly Republicans, including the liar McCain, voted to of course filibuster it. Instead of doing the right thing they are nothing but liars and cowards. What else is new.

Tuesday, September 21, 2010

In His Words

So going unnoticed by the right wing media is comments made by so-called Justice Scalia. He said recently that he doesn't believe the 14th amendment applies to women because "that use of the measure was not intended in 1868"
http://www.thinkprogress.org/2010/09/20/scalia-women/

Judging by his words then on the right to bear arms we should all have muskets right? After all that was what was available when that was written.

Sunday, September 19, 2010

Your Choice

Ladies and gentlemen really I want to give you your options come November. It's really this simple.

If you want people who said they won't govern if elected, vote Republican
If you want return to the polices that led to the recession we're in, vote Republican
If you want people who said they will only distract the government with lawsuits and such, vote Republican
If you want a return to the record deficits, vote Republican (fun fact the deficit dropped 13% under Democratic rule according to the non partisan cbo)
If you want people who won't regulate business which led to the nightmare we're in, vote Republican

now if you want people who WILL ACTUALLY work to lower the deficit, vote Democrat
if you want people who WILL ACTUALLY work for the voters instead of being a slave to big business, vote Democrat
if you want people who WILL ACTUALLY work to lower unemployment instead of the heartless people who don't give a damn, vote Democrat

It's that simple and look up what I said about the Republicans, it's facts.

Weapons of Mass Destraction

Looking more at the mosque that Republicans (and some Democrats) are making an issue I do have a question: Isn't this an issue that's just a New York issue? Aren't Republicans the ones who are about states right except when it comes to a woman's right to choose? I guess they are full of shit as always and really this is just a ploy by them to fuel peoples anger to try to get votes even though they, when asked, show they continuously have no ideas.

Fueling the Anger

Leave it to the church to do more to fuel the anger.

http://www.thomhartmann.com/forum/2010/08/waittheres-morefrom-far-far-right-wing-burn-quran-day

I have an idea that maybe a shock.. Why not instead of fueling people's anger with stupid ass events like this how about opening a dialogue and trying to find common ground. Oh wait I forget we are talking about the Christian right nevermind.

Another thing is a poll shows how one of five Americans think our President is a Muslim. First so the hell what if he is or isn't why is that an issue to begin with except for the people (Republicans) who only want to exploit anger?

Again I will ask and am still waiting for an answer.. Do we believe in our Constitution or not?

Thursday, August 19, 2010

Finally

Keeping yet another one of his campaign promises and unlike a certain person landing on an aircraft carrier with a big "mission accomplished" sign in the background, combat operations in Iraq ARE ACTUALLY OVER! This is a war we should have NEVER got involved with, costs thousands of lives, we were deceived to begin with and really if anyone needs to be but on trial for war crimes it's the previous administration. Thank god we have a current President in Obama who doesn't take false victory laps.

Poor Baby

Poor so-called Dr. Laura. She announced on Larry King that she was canceling her radio show because she "wants to regain her 1st amendment rights back". If you recall last week she was under fire for an incredibly racist rant directed toward one of her callers.

I remember a quote on this site about being responsible. Her rights to say that were never taken away HOWEVER she, like everyone else, has to realize what they say they are accountable. If she doesn't like that well she should move to a country with no speech rights.

Another thing I did some research on is back in the late 1990's CBS wanted to hire her for a radio show. She said she would ONLY if CBS fired one of their dj's at the time Howard Stern. So she was perfectly willing to trample on another 1st amendments rights.

Bottom line is she, like everyone else, is accountable for what they say. If they don't like it they need to find another way to earn money.

Tuesday, August 17, 2010

Questions

I have questions in regards to the mosque being attempted to be built near ground zero.

First do we have freedom of religion or don't we? According to the leaders on the right we apparently don't. But then again they never believed in the constitution except for the right to bear arms to begin with I guess.

Second are we at war with Islam or Terrorists? I think a distinction should be made. I think it has been made. We are at war with terrorists last I checked. The Christian right has been saying (Newt specifically) has been saying we are at war with the religion of Islam.

We are at a crossroads right now. I hope our constitution wins.

Why isn't this news?

http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/07/glenn_beck_defends_targeting_tides_foundation_im_j.php

So I bring this up and I was wondering why there has been little coverage by the so-called liberal media. There was a shootout in Oakland last month. That happens unfortunately all the time I know, but this is a little different. The real story is why he was on his way to do what he was doing. He was pulled over because Glenn Beck said a specific organization was out to destroy America and the shooter was on his way to kill people because of it. I just wonder there have been so many people and so many events because of these talking heads how many more are going to have to happen until they are held accountable?

Professional Left

As I guess a member of the "Professional Left" I feel I need to comment on Robert Gibbs statements saying people like myself need to be "drug tested" for not blindly supporting the President. I would like to respond.

We are not Republicans. We do not speak in one voice. We have diverse opinions and views. That's how America should be.

But he is also right and that President Obama doesn't get enough credit. I always try to give him the credit he deserves. He's lived up to promises on reforming healthcare, wall st. ending combat operations in Iraq (he better not do a mission accomplished banner and land on an Aircraft Carrier). He accomplished more in 2 years then the last idiot did in his 8. So he deserves credit for that.

However when Obama is wrong, he needs to be called on it. Most specifically he needs to do more on don't ask don't tell and the defense of marriage acts. I think a lot of people will back off on him if he repeals those items.

There hasn't been a President who inherited as much as Obama has. In a few ways Gibbs is right however Obama needs to be called when he is slowed or if he is wrong on issues.

To biuld or not to build

So people want to build a mosque near ground zero in New York. Naturally the right, who as usual don't really understand things, are completely against it. I've said many times that I'm of the Jewish faith so I have reasons to dislike that but I'm actually for it for a couple of reasons that the right doesn't seem to understand as usual. First, being against is is exactly what people like Bin Laden want so they can further stir up the anger and second, what a better way to show the world how tolerant we are with ALL RELIGIONS, whether you agree with them or not. Anyway that's what I think about it.

Thursday, August 05, 2010

Good News but

With the good news that Prop 8 was overturned yesterday I wouldn't be doing victory laps just yet. I fear once it reaches the Supreme Court as it is made up as of now the ruling will be overturned cause the court does not care about rights or the constitution but pollitical idiology.

You Wonder

http://articles.latimes.com/2010/aug/02/nation/la-na-politics-money-20100802

So I've always wondered why busisnesses, who claim to have no money, who claim they can't hire anyone, can seem to find $300 million dollars to fund the elections of mainly Republicans? First this is a direct result of the worst Supreme Court rulling in my lifetime in Citizens United (thank you activist judges) and this should never happen. This is the exact reason why there needs to be disclosure on political ads so we can see who is behind them and who to do business with or not. But of course Republicans don't want that because they are nothing but cowards.

So we have conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. After HIS ruling in favor of Citizens United wife started a political action comittee. She states on her website questions like how do you feel about the healthcare bill passed (this is directed to potential people she will give money to). Also asked is how potential people feel about the Arizona immigration law. Now my thing is this: How can Justice Clarence Thomas not exclude himself from any case that his wife has not or will benefit from? This can and will include things like the immigration law, any case involving corporate money, the healthcare bill. Really one of two things needs to happen: Either he needs to resign or she needs to resign otherwise how can we not question the integrity of the Supreme Court?

Remember When?

Remember when Alaska had the Exxon Valdez disaster? The only thing that the spill in the gulf could be compared to? You know how the alleged liberal media treated the first Bush?

http://mediamatters.org/blog/201006170007

Bush wasn't at all blamed for that disaster in fact the media gave him a free ride.

Again I ask what liberal media?

Unbelievable

So they had hearing yesterday with the head of BP. We had the usual lies from the head saying he had no idea what was going on but that's not why I'm angry cause that would be what was expected. Why I'm angry is how Republican Joe Barton APOLOGIZED TO BP for having to put up a 20 Billion dollar fund for paying for the cleanup for their mess. There are Republicans who think BP shouldn't have to pay for the cleanup it should be paid for the taxpayer. He actually called the money a "slush fund". He is echoing the opinions of Republican leaders like the drug addict and Michelle Bachman. If there is ever a reason to NEVER vote Republican again it's cause of that one statement.

Silence

So remember when Family Guy a few months back made a passing reference to drama queen Sarah Palin on a show and how the right threw a fit saying how they were attacking her children when they weren't? So I'm wondering if you aren't allowed to attack polititions kids how come drug addict Limbaugh and psycho Beck are doing it consistantly? And how come no one who was attacking Family Guy is attacking these heartless individuals?
http://mediamatters.org/blog/201006160033

Or it's ok to attack cause he's a Democrat like they did to Clinton's Daughter.

What will happen

One thing we know is going to happen, again thanks to a law proposed by Bush and passed by the Republican Senate and Congress, is BP will eventually file for bankruptcy to avoid paying claims. The oil disaster in the gulf is yet another example how de-regulation will never work. This, the mining disasters, Wall Street (signed by Bill Clinton). How many more failures cause of de-regulation have to occur before they shut the hell up regarding this.

Anyone??

Has anyone noticed Meg Whittman's adds? I haven't seen ONE that shows what her plans our for California if she is elected Gov. Not ONE. All I've seen from her are attack ads on her opponents whether it was her primary, or Jerry Brown. Just shows how yet another Republican has no ideas but what else is new.

Good News But

So the good news is they reached 16 year old Abby Sunderland and she's ok. Apparently she said, and it's ok with her parents, that she wants to try to sail solo around the world again and break the world. That's fine with me as we have a desire to be the best. What I have a problem with in this whole thing is the fact that you and I taxpayer has to pay for her rescue like now and if she does it again and needs help so I have a simple proposal: When attempts like this happen people have to put up a $5 million dollar bond and if he/she is successful on their journey and don't need assistance in any way they get it back. That way taxpayers don't have to put up with the bill if they need help.

Hammer Dropped

So the hammer dropped on the USC Football program. Sanctions include a two year ban on postseason appearences, loss of 20 scholarships, vacated wins from their undefeated 2004 season among other things. No wonder Pete Carroll bailed on them since he was involved in the problem. Of course why Mike Garrett is still there I don't know. I know how this type of problem would be fixed and that is to pay the athletes but I know that won't happen. It is unknown whether they will have to vacate the National Championship they won in 2004 but if they have to vacate wins I don't see how they can't as well as Reggie Bush's Heisman Trophy. Bottom line they broke rules and they got caught.

Tuesday, June 08, 2010

So Helen Thomas, one of the toughest White House Reporters for years, resigned after making disgusting anti-jewish comments over the weekend. Now if onely other people were fired for making similar if not worse comments. Here are a few:

The drug addict:
http://www.adl.org/PresRele/ASUS_12/5695_12.htm

Pat Buchanan
http://www.fair.org/index.php?page=2553

Bill O'Reilly
http://mediamatters.org/research/200412070004

She had every right to say, hateful as it is, what she said but she is also responsible for what she said.

Expansion??

So the rumor has it that the Pac-10 wants to expand it's football conference to include teams from the Big-12 if Nebraska and Missouri move to the Big-10. Teams like Texas, Oklahoma etc. I have an idea that would I think be more "traditional" for the Pac-10 if they want to expand. Add from the following teams if they are interested in joining the conference:

Hawaii
Boise St
BYU
Utah
Utah State
Fresno State
UNLV
Nevada-Reno

What an idiot

So I think we have one of the worst idiots in Bud Selig. We have a kid who pitched a perfect game and due to one of the worst calls in history didn't get it. Selig can overturn the ump. It's been done before (like in 1983 and the infamous pine tar game with George Brett) but Selig refuses. I mean the ump said he blew it the Cleveland Indians player said he was out all he has to do is say the ump was wrong and I'm overturning it. All the moron says is that we will look into expanding instant replay (which should be done anyway).

RIP

Well as the few friends who come here know my dad died yesterday. He was 78. As much as I have the gift of gab I don't know what I can say right now. I hope he knew I loved him. I did. I just hope I can become half the man he was and I'm going to miss him.

Nice People

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/05/14/pat-buchanan-too-many-jew_n_576948.html

Nice to count on good old fashioned racism from Pat Buchanan who said over the weekend there are "too many jews on the Supreme Court". Actually Pat there are too many right-wing activist judges who care only about pushing their agenda instead of ruling on the law on the Supreme Court. That's the problem.

And again getting back to how the right just throws the word Nazi out in describing the President. Of course the latest is Newt Gingrich
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=Newt+Gingrich+Obama+Nazi&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=

Like I said they either don't really understand what Hitler ACTUALLY DID or they don't care what he did. Either way it's disgusting!

Have You Noticed

Has anyone but me noticed that when baseball players test positive for steroids all hell seems to break loose, Selig and Fehr have to testify before Congress and it's so over the top but when football players test positive for steroids (like Brian Cushing did) no one seems to care? I haven't seen Goodell and Smith (Players Rep) go before Congress at all and I'm wondering why is there a double standard?

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Good Choice

It's so pathetic for Republicans that they have no dirt to attack Obama's new Supreme Court nominee Kagan they only thing they can do is defend slavery. They can't use the fact that she's never served on the bench without being countered former Supreme Court Justice Reignquilliam Rehnquist cause it's the same thing.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Republicans+defending+slavery+Kagan&btnG=Search&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=

One question I've been hearing is why when Republicans nominate Supreme Court Justice they pick the strictest conservatives out there and when Democrats nominate Justices they don't and to me the answer is simple: Republicans are only worried about ideology and Democrats want the law followed. And all we need to do is take a look at the last few rulings to prove that.

Some Questions

So first to again say congrats to FBI, NYPD and Department of Homeland Security for their quick work on capturing the Times Square Bomber attempt suspect as he was trying to leave the country. But I do have some questions:

Does insane McCain and other Republicans who are questioning if he should be given his miranda rights know the suspect is a United States citizen and has miranda rights? They apparently think he doesn't and I guess don't realize if he is not given his rights any guilty verdict would be thrown out in court.

Here is a question as well: Should someone on the no fly list be allowed to purchase a gun? I think no because they wouldn't be on the list if they weren't suspected terrorist.

One thing I will always love about Obama more then anything is he doesn't take victory laps like the previous administration. If this was Bush you would think he single-handidly captured this guy.

A couple of things

Don't be surprised if there are gaps in my posts over the next few weeks. I have two fathers (my mom divorced when I was young and remarried) one of them (who is on dialysis to begin with) is in the hospital with pneumonia and the other is having surgery for mellenoma (sorry if the spelling is wrong) this week. Obviously my mind is going in about a million different directions at this moment so please bear with me.

I would like to talk about something that has bothered me. I posted last week how I agreed with the law in Arizona that delt with illegal imagration. Robert posted I was a "racist, bastard, and nazi". I agreed that on that issue I was a racist I don't deny that but one word has bothered me and that is nazi. I always hated that word with a passion especially being Jewish myself. I never told anyone this of my friends but my grandparents were holocaust survivors (they died when I was young so I never had a chance to really talk to them about it) and my grandfathers sister was apparently killed in the holocaust. I hate how the right continously compares President Obama to Hitler and the fact is either they really have no idea what was done or they really don't care. The ignorance just amazes me and disgusts me and I really just want to talk to these ignorant idiots and ask if they really know what was done. And if you want to know why I really dispise those who deny the holocaust well that's why and why I consider them anti-semetic that's exactly why. It affected my family directly.

Now on a better note I'd like to say congrats to the FBI for arresting the suspect in the attempted bombing in Times Square at JFK as he was trying to leave the country. Good work.

Will never get it

I want to thank Republicans for proving yet again why de-regulation NEVER works. This case proves that with the oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. I find it ironic that the right-wing media is calling this "Obama's Katrina" when a couple of things need to be brought up:

1) How come we hear let businesses police themself except when things like this happen?

2) Obama wasn't off playing golf like the President when Katrina hit

Republicans thanks for being consistantly wrong as always.

Now just so you know besides BP Halliburton is also in part responsible they just finished hours before the explosion a major piece of equipment. But you won't hear that from the Bush friendly media either.

Friday, April 30, 2010

A few things

I just want to state a few things regarding immigration and my stance on the law.

First Washington won't take up the issue. And that's no matter who is in charge. Democrats won't because it will hurt a growing base and Republicans won't because it will lose cheap labor which they like.

Second my stance on the law is because living in Los Angeles I hate the fact I need to learn Spanish when I don't live in Mexico. I hate the fact that a majority of radio station in Los Angeles broadcast in Spanish and I hate the fact that I cannot go to say a fast food place and need to understand Spanish to order food. I hate the fact that I've gone to a wrestling show and the announcers were in Spanish and I couldn't understand a word they said.

Third I underestand on this issue I am a racist. I'm sorry about that this is the way I feel and I've always said I'm going to be honest.

Fourth is the nerve of Arizona after passing the law they are actually asking for Federal Funds to train officers. Sorry but if this is what you want you have to pay for it

Thursday, April 29, 2010

I wonder

The Supreme Court is going to hear a case where California banned the sale of violent video games to minors. I'm curious to see how they will rule but I've always said that should be the parents responsibility to watch their children instead of just parking them in front of the tv.

Wednesday, April 28, 2010

My ideas

Here is my ideas to curb illegal immigration.

1) Fine, humilliate businesses who hire illegals. How do you humilliate: Like in California after prop 8 out them. Make big ads, put posters in front make it so uncomfortable for them they won't do it.

2) Tighter tighter tighter tighter border security. We can't seem to protect our borders

3) End government programs that state if you are in the country illegaly and have children, the children are automatically citizens and can get government programs. That has to stop.

Contrary to conservative heroes like Ronald Reagan who gave Amnesty to illegals I don't believe in that. Sorry.

Just wondering

I was just wondering something.... What if say, instead of a bunch of angry white males bringing their guns to Washington to protest something like the tea partiers are doing say Arab Americans, or African Americans were protesting? How would they be treated? Would they be hailed by the right-wing media as heroes? Or would they be villified and arrested immediately? What if, say an African American spat on say Mitch McConnel like what happened to African American Congressmen Emanuel Cleaver and Fred Lewis? How would they be treated? What if say, Stevie Wonder or Prince called say Eric Cantor a piece of shit and said he could suck on their machine gun like Ted Nugent has toward President Obama? Would they be called great Americans by O'Reilly, Limbaugh? Would they be excused by saying well they have 1st amendment rights? The answer is of course no they wouldn't of course. Just something to think about

5 years

Just realized it's the fifth year for my blog here. It's funny I started this I was just bored one day. I appreciate the support and thank you for coming here. Thanks again.

Two wrongs

I would like to point out what I feel are two wrongs by our President Obama. (contrary to the right on Bush the left has the courage to point out flaws as well as give credit where it's due). First it was announced that the President will appeal an accurate ruling outlawing a day of prayer. This day was struck down recently by a judge in Wisconsin for the accurate reason it violates our constitution.
http://www.aolnews.com/nation/article/wisconsin-judge-strikes-down-national-day-of-prayer/19443307
Now please correct me if I'm wrong... Christians have a day of prayer which is Sunday. Jewish people have one which is Friday and Muslims have to pray 5 times a day so we don't need a National day of Prayer.

Second I would like to point out the disaster off the coast of Louisiana. I'm wondering why Obama is allowing MORE drilling off our coasts when disasters like the oil rig explosion will occur more and more. Another bad choice.

Thursday, April 22, 2010

Questions

So I've always wondered this question.. How can the right be "pro life" but are pro guns which are ONLY used to take lives? Isn't that a conflict?

Wednesday, April 21, 2010

One Issue

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=126126319&ps=cprs

This is probably the one issue I am on the conservative side on. The Arizona House and Senate passed a very tough illegal immigration law stating their police can stop anyone they suspect is an illegal alien and ask for their papers. I'm sorry but I think it's right but the law doesn't go after employers ( which really should be the start point) who hire illegal immigrants. One of the thing I disagree with though is they also are requiring polititions to show their Birth Certificates. That's fine as long as you start with your Senator John McCain cause he was born in Panama which last I checked isn't in the United States. That law, which is clearly a shot at our President, applies to Arizona's Senator as well.

But digressing back to the point one issue that always bothered me is how people say the illegal immigrants will do work Amercans won't. That's a lie. Americans will do things like pick fields if they are given a fair wage and benefits.

Tuesday, April 20, 2010

Grateful

Every day I'm so grateful that Insane More of the Same John McCain was never elected President for a couple of reasons. First idiot Sarah Palin isn't Vice President and second he would have made Dubya look like a genius. Why he still gets so much talk time on the Sunday shows astounds me because he just shoots himself in the foot again and again for instance he is still sounding off on Iran saying over the weekend "pull the trigger" or in other words, invade Iran. Like the typical angry Republican he is he is reactionary and doesn't see the danger of that statement. I don't like Iran and I don't want anyone to think otherwise especially the threats he's made toward Israel but if you want a no win situation, go ahead and attack cause Iran is a no win situation. John McCain is an idiot.

Monday, April 19, 2010

Do words matter?

I ask this question because we are on the anniversery of the Oklahoma City Bombing. We see such hate from the right-wing media, as well as Republicans in congress and a certain quitter from Alaska, directed toward liberals and especially the Government, we've seen Rep. Michelle Bachman encourage revolution, we see rocks thrown at windows of Democratic Reps due to those words that come from Rush, O'Idiot, Hannity and so many more and we've seen actions.

Take a look at the guy who flew his plane into the IRS in Texas. (By the way a great piece over the weekend on CNN)

The person in Pittsburgh who shot three police officers who firmly believed Obama was going to take away his guns

The murder of Dr. Tiller

The shooting of the Democratic Leader in Arkansas in 2008
http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5jm9DYuIE_x8ICCCwKAhyi3PneK_A for a reminder

And I can continue but the point is these murders have one thing in common and that is a right-wing connection. And until people like Bachman, Palin, Rush, all of these who are encouraging violence are arrested for inciting violence the attacks will be worse and worse and since Republicans never accecpt responsibility for their actions someone has to step up.

I'm back

So to explain the last month.... I was in the hospital for a few days. I had an infection in my leg. It's still painful but better. I appreciate your patience. Thanks

His Comeback

So Tiger Woods announced his big comeback for golf at the Masters. It surprised no one as even the novice golf fans could figure he would play at Augusta. He should play well long as his head (both of them) are in the game. Is it me or is it ironic a guy named woods has a problem with sex addiction?

Conflict of interest

So when the Supreme Court gave that completely horrible ruling about campaign finance the other week we knew it would create problems but we never knew how much. The worst example yet is done by the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is starting in an unpreceented move her own Tea Party movement and since the ruling that means her group can donate any amount of funds to any candidate. That is truly disgusting.

Idiot of the week

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. Sorry for no posts last week but that flu I had was horrible. But here we go with the obvious choice for the idiot of the week and that's Karl Rove. I continously say how Republicans think Americans are stupid and can't fact check what they say. I give you Rove who said yesterday that "no one in the Bush Administration said oil from Iraq would pay for the war". Funny I remember typing that people from the Bush Administration saying exactly that but for exact quotes let's go here
http://rawstory.com/2010/03/rove-denies-bush-oil-pay-war/

There are quotes from Paul Wolfowitz saying that, Ari Fleischer as well. So again Republicans still think America is completely stupid. Why don't people ever call them on it?

Friday, March 12, 2010

Bear With Me

Sorry for no posts this week. I've had the flu and it's draining. I'll be back next week.

Thursday, March 04, 2010

Did You Know

With all the lies that the right is giving about using reconcilliation to pass healthcare I bet you didn't know that the Republicans USED reconcilliation to pass the Bush tax cuts that helped plunge our country into the recession we are currently in? I bet you didn't cause the right-wing media isn't telling you that.

Tuesday, March 02, 2010

Idiot of the week

Please forgive me if I don't post most over the next little while I have some family issues to deal with and I might just not be up for it. I hope you understand.

But back to business it's a no-brainer who the idiot of the week is this week it's Senator Jim Bunning (R, KY). He's blocking people receiving unemployment benefits and directly afftecing people losing their jobs for the most egotistical of reasons: He was forced to work instead of attending the Kentucky-South Carolina basketball game. I wish I could make this up.

http://newsblaze.com/story/20100226091905j112.nb/topstory.html

How incredibly selfish of this idiot. You Jim Bunning are clearly the idiot of the week.

Friday, February 26, 2010

Nothing Done

So as I said the other day nothing was really accomplished yesterday at the healthcare summit except for one thing: In front of the cameras America was showed what party wants to accomplish the people's business (Democrats) and what party's only goal is the status quo (Republicans).

Bound to happen

If you are not aware a killer whale attacked and killed a trainer at Sea World in Orlando. It was bound to happen. I think people forget these are wild animals and they do tend to go to their instincts. Sea World does a lot of good but again this was bound to happen.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010

First one

As I posted on Monday I knew there would be people who would praise the psycho who flew a plane in the IRS building in Texas. Rep Steve King (R, Ia) was the first.

http://thinkprogress.org/2010/02/22/king-justifies-irs-terrorism/

What a complete and utter loser.

Tuesday, February 23, 2010

Big Surprise

So I guess the biggest surprise yesterday was Scott Brown. Who instead of thinking of embarassing President Obama like most Republicans do actually decided to vote for the people of Massachusets and not block the jobs bill. Congrats for at least this one issue going with the people and not the Republican line.

Monday, February 22, 2010

Idiot of the week

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/richard-adams-blog/2010/feb/19/austin-plane-crash-response

The idiot of the week has got to be anyone who considers the pilot who crashed his plane in Austin at the IRS building a hero. This angers me. A lot of that comes from the Tea Party idiots but they are actually praising this guy. If he wasn't white and was say arabic he would called what he is a terrorist.

I'm also wondering when Beck, Limbaugh, Bachman and all of those who are encouraging acts like this are finally going to be called for it. They are the ones who consistantly say we need a "revolution" and "we need to overthrow the government". They are just as responsible no matter what side of the political spectrum the pilot was on.

A Waste of time

So Tiger Woods is going to finally, after 3 months, his phony apology on Friday. We know it's a joke, we know he doesn't mean it and we know he's a coward cause he's not even taking questions regarding it. It's a waste of time and he's a waste of time.

At it Again

http://rawstory.com/2010/02/bristol-palin-calls-fox-writers-heartless-jerks-family-guy/

I will say this no one plays the victims better then the Palin family. There latest is at attack on a Family Guy Episode where on of the characters is in love with a girl with Downs Syndrome. Of course they think it's an attack on them. Whether this is an attack on them or not they need to remember they decided to be in the public eye so they are going to be made fun of if they like it or not. They are going to have to deal with it or go away it's that simple.

Monday, February 15, 2010

Idiot of the week

http://rawstory.com/2010/02/graham-blames-reid-for-record-filibusters/

So the idiot of the week goes to Lindsey Graham. He actually had the nerve to blame Harry Reid for Republicans using the filibuster to stop legislation from going through. That's right Republicans are choosing to stop the Senate for doing their work but it's Harry Reid's fault. Don't get me wrong I think Harry Reid is a week leader but Lindsey Graham you are choosing to do this and to blame others for your choice earns you the idiot of the week.

No More Wonder

If you ever wonder why I'm down on religion this is yet another example.
http://rawstory.com/2010/02/christians-claim-hate-crimes-law-effort-eradicate-beliefs/

This is showing a Christian group who is suing to stop hate crimes legislation because it is being done to "eradicate their beliefs" so in other words they want to hate groups for being different. Specifically in this case members of the gay, lesbian and transgender community.

This is disgusting. There is no other way to describe it. These religious groups are saying it's ok to hate. I wonder what jesus would think of them.

Another Piece

Yesterday I was home sick and almost threw up reading Jonah Goldberg's global warming deny piece in the Los Angeles Times. He looks at all the snow back east which also proves he's stupid because unless I'm wrong IT'S WINTER IT'S SUPPOSED TO SNOW. I'm wondering though if he's looking at what's going on in Vancouver where the Winter Olympics are supposed to start on Friday WHERE THEY ARE HAVING TO TRUCK IN SNOW TO SOME VENUES! But of course no Republican seems to notice how the weather patterns are changing.

Mission Statement

http://www.thespoof.com/news/spoof.cfm?headline=s4i68591

You see my mission statement is calling out hypocrites in politics and media. I have no bigger hypocrite right now then Sarah Palin. She called for Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel to be fired after he called a bunch of liberal groups "retards". Yet Rush Limbaugh, who is the clear leader of the Republican Party, calls liberals retards and she's ok with it. If that isn't the definition of a hypocrite I don't know what is.

Idiot of the week and other things

First congrats to the New Orleans Saints for the tremendous victory on the Super Bowl. You earned it.

Second I was wrong about the Tebow ad. There was nothing wrong or controversial with it so I apologize.

Now onto the idiot of the week and that is the Tea Party movement. They had a convention last week and the first speaker, former Colorado rep Tom Tancredo, suggested we need to have a "literacy test to protect America from Presidents like Obama".
http://rawstory.com/2010/02/tea-party-opening-speaker-suggests-blacks-voting/

That gives the whole racist speech. The reason why the Tea Party gets the idiot of the week is how no one called him out, no one corrected him and no one, NO ONE booed, hissed or did anything to get him off the stage. To me that speaks volumes. Tea Party gets clearly the idiot of the week.

Friday, February 05, 2010

Predictions

So it's time for my Super Bowl Prediction. Keep in mind **DISCLAIMER** If you are stupid enough to take my advice and bet with me you do so at your own risk. As you have seen my predictions are usually quite wrong so if you go with me you do so at your own peril. **END DISCLAIMER**

New Orleans 34 Indianapolis 31

As great as the Colts are I just see something special in New Orleans this year. They have so many weapons and I think a better running game which will help.

Just Wondering

Two questions today that should be talked about more in my opinion (contrary to what Robert thinks I am entitled to my own opinion):

Are we at war in Pakistan? I stumbled on a story that has gone largely unreported by the media and I feel is an issue
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/us-soldiers-killed-in-bomb-blast-at-pakistan-girls-school-1888989.html

Why is President Obama going to the national prayer breakfast? I feel it's disgusting that it's televised and the President Obama is going for such an idiotic event. It's a joke and makes me want to throw up.

Wednesday, February 03, 2010

Typical Republican

If you look a couple of posts down you see the latest stupidity of the typical Republican. First I make the point how Republicans think Americans are stupid when they say things that people can't look up to see how they are lying outright with their quotes. Now Robert, the typical Republican, said that I said "agree with me or your stupid". I never said nor implied that but I responded look how Republicans continously have said that over the years. I also said that look how I, along with people who are against the war, have been called un-american and told how I can't support the troops and all sorts of idiotic things. His response was "what about the teabaggers and what I've been called. Well if you actually look at what the teabaggers are upset at Obama for they are idiotic because REPUBLICANS ACTUALLY DID WHAT THEY ARE ACCUSING OBAMA OF DOING! Again a statement of fact not made up.

I bring this up because I still haven't been told I'm wrong on the original point of my point which is the typical Republican talking. Smear, smear smear.

Idiot of the week

There are a few nominees for the idiot of the week. I'll name them but give the clear winner.

1) Rudy Giuliani for after the State of the Union said how Obama never said the word war during the speech when he said it 7 times.

2) Samuel Alito for mouthing off during the speech when Obama rightfully attacked the awful Supreme Court ruling.

3) Karl Rove for saying how Obama was "weak" for rightfully attacking Bush for leaving the country in the mess we are currently in but ignoring how his boss and Ronald Reagan did THE EXACT SAME THING during their first state of the union speeches

4) Chris Matthews

Biggest Liars

Nothing like the biggest liars among the Republicans who are continuously showing disrespect for President Obama when he speaks to the nation. First during the State of theUnion there were two incidents. First Justice Samuel Alieto clearly mouthing that's not true when President Obama sated about the horrible Supreme Court Ruling that money from big businesses are going to influence election. Actually Mr. Justice that is true. Second the camera showed John McCain telling Lindsey Graham about how President Obama was going to (accurately) blame Bush for leaving the country in the mess we are in.

http://blogs.e-rockford.com/applesauce/2010/01/28/by-karl-roves-standard-reagan-and-dubya-looked-weak-in-speeches-to-congress/

http://thinkprogress.org/2010/01/28/rove-reagan-weak/

But two incidents yesterday also caught my eye because they are such lies if anyone believes them they are stupid. First I present Karl Rove who called President Obama "weak" for attacking Bush (accuarately) during the State of the Union for putting our country where we are today. Now if you look at the above link you will see how both Ronald Reagan and Dubya did THE EXACT SAME THING during their first State of the Union addresses! Of course Rove thinks people are too stupid to look this up.

Second I present former New York Mayor Giuliani. He actually went on tv and said that President Obama never said the word "war" during the speech. All you have to do is look at the transcript of the speech and find the word "war" mentioned 7 times. I guess Rudy was in the bathroom during that.

So the Republicans continue to think America is stupid. Anyone who believes them is.

Point Proven

http://mediamatters.org/columns/201001220042

So I give this link to gett my point proven on how False News (Fox for those who are new here) was giving free airtime to Scott Brown and that helped get him elected. I think False News needs to be investigated by the Elections Commission for violating equal time laws. They continuously had Brown on their shows and Coakley was nowhere. If false claims to be a news organization and they need to show it otherwise just say what they are and that is the media wing of the Republican Party! Imagine if say Olbermann or Maddow or Shultz had on Coakley and not Brown and the stink that would be raised by the right. They prove over and over again they are hypocrites and more people need to call them on it!

Idiot of the week

My idiot of the week is simply a no-brainer. It's the conservative members of the Supreme Court of the United States! That vote last week regarding ending campaign finance was disgusting. We are no longer living in a democracy it's that simple. They killed it with that vote based not on previous rulings, but only on political views. Conservatives who always bitch about activist judges why are they silent on this CLEAR CASE OF ACTIVISM BY THE SUPREME COURT! They are hypocrites yet again and the conservative wing of the Supreme Court are CLEARLY THE IDIOTS OF THE WEEK! You killed America.

Predictions

So it's time for my weekly playoff predictions. As usual first:

** DISCLAIMER ** If you are stupid enough to go with me you do so at your own risk. I am in NO WAY RESPONSIBLE IF/WHEN MY PICKS BOMB. As you saw last week I won one out of the three games so I am in NO WAY AN EXPERT ON THIS!. **END DISCLAIMER**

Minnesota 30 New Orleans 27. New Orleans is great but I don't feel they have faced a defense like Minnesota.

Indianapolis 31 New York Jets 20. If the game is close Jets will find a way to win but I think Payton Manning is playing better.

It's Over

It's over. Ladies and gentlemen our Democracy is over as we know it thanks to that idiot George Bush and the Supreme Court Justices he put in. Yesterday's ruling shows that we no longer have public elections but will have the best candidates money can buy. That was the worst ruling since Dredd Scott and as I said democracy is clearly over. Thanks SCOTUS.

More racism?

So I see where some moran named Don "Moose" Morris wants to start a "whites only" basketball league. I can only hope this is a sick joke from him or that he wants to go bankrupt from the descrimination lawsuits that will be filed.
http://www.ajc.com/news/whites-only-basketball-league-279688.html

Went Silently

Did anyone notice yesterday was the first full year President Obama has been in office? You didn't hear a thing from the media about it. I remember the big deal they made on the first anniversery from the last psychopath in the office.

Another idiot

http://rawstory.com/2010/01/christian-leader-satan-haiti/

Yet another Christian idiot. Sorry but you are yet again wrong. Again if you wonder why I'm down on religion these psychos are why.

Why He Won

It's very easy why Scott Brown won yesterday in Mass. He ran a better campaign. Won thing Republicans always seem to do, even though once they win they cannot govern, is campaign better. Let's hope this is the wakeup call Democrats need otherwise it's going to be a long year. It also helps when False News gives you free campaign tv time and not the opponent. Where is the FEC on that?

And Tom this is why the teabagger idiots scare me unfortunately they are not splitting the Republican party.

Another jerk

Watching countdown last night Keith Olbermann always has the worse persons of the world award which gives the idocy of the right-wing their due. The winner showed yet another jerk and that is Sean Hannity. Now for those who watch False News regularly wouldn't know about the devastating earthquake in Haiti because false news doesn't really care about it. There is barely a mention. Hannity said multiple times, again keeping in mind these were after the davastation in Haiti, compared an election win from that other idiot Brown today to a "political earthquake". That is wrong and disgusting. I'm waiting for anyone on the right to call out Hannity, the drug addict, Robertson for those disgusting comments but I guess they agree with them cause the silence speaks volumes about how uncaring they are.

Scott Brown

So I am looking at the Republican idiot running for Ted Kennedy's seat. Nevermind who he is but what says everything about him is his votes. He voted against aid for 9/11 volunteers. So anyone who votes for him votes against the heroes of 9/11.

http://www.americablog.com/2010/01/scott-brown-voted-against-aid-to-911.html

Idiot of the week

A few choices for idiot of the week.

First Pete Carroll. You taught the kids of USC the worse lesson you could teach: When the going gets tough the tough gets going. You quit on your team when you had a bad season and when the NCAA is about to drop sanctions on you for your violations. Bad example coach.

Second Me. There is a reason why my predictions usually suck. As you saw my playoff predictions for the weekend they are usually wrong.

Now for the biggest idiots of the week and they are Rush Limbaugh and Pat Robertson. I can't say enough what kind of scum they are for the comments they made about the Haiti earthquake. Limbaugh we see continuously show how racist he is and if you wonder why I'm against religion you look no further then Robertson. You represent the worst of the worst and as I said the other day I would say go to hell but that's too good for you and you are clearly the biggest losers, scumbags and idiots of the week

Friday Lights

So I guess it's time for Playoff predictions but first

** DISCLAIMER ** if you are crazy enough to agree with and place money on my predictions you do so at your own risk. I am by no means a professional and this is only my opinion. And if you've seen my other predictions you know how wrong I am usually on them ** END DISCLAIMER **

New Orleans 34 Arizona 28
Dallas 24 Minnesota 21
Baltimore 27 Indianapolis 20
San Diego 24 New York Jets 13

A Link

Here is a link to organizations like Unicef and the Red Cross if you wish to donate to help earthquake victims.

Didn't take long

I was waiting to see who would say something stupid and disgusting about the earthquake that devastated Haiti. Well we have a tie. First Pat Robertson
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/michael-rowe/the-never-ending-horror-o_b_422615.html

He said the quake happened because the people of Haiti "made a pact with the devil" I'm not sure he knows this but the majority religion in Haiti is catholic.

Then I goto the drug addict Rush. Who used the earthquake to launch an incredibly disgusting attack on President Obama. He said President Obama will "use the earthquake to boost credibility with light skinned and dark skinned black community"
http://mediamatters.org/limbaughwire/2010/01/13#0047

I'm sorry but this is a tragedy of epic proportions. To use the earthquake for your own sick disgusting views is horrible and if you actually had a heart you would see that. I would say would be going straight to hell BUT that is too good for you. You need to go away and never return.

Best Idea in a while

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/75459-dem-congressman-introduced-50-tax-on-bonuses

So the banks who received our tax money thanks to George Bush are going to start announcing how much money they paid in bonuses in 2009. Keep in mind the banks, thanks to deregulation, almost bankrupted our country. Now I said at the time let them fail because of those bonuses and still feel the same but I heard a great idea from Democrat Peter Welch who introduced legislation that would have a %50 tax on all bonuses over $50,000. Congrats sir that is the best idea but it should be on over $1000. These are bonuses so undeserved.

Only Fitting

I guess it's only fitting that Sarah Palin is joining False (Fox) News. She quit on her state of Alaska Fox quit on being a honest news organization. But really I have a question. Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee are allegedly going to run for President in 2012 doesn't that violate election laws and shouldn't the FCC investigate this?

Monday, January 11, 2010

Idiots of the week

I have a tie for the idiot of the week.

First Harry Reid. While I don't like him as a leader and feel he should resign because he is weak. Those comments aren't nearly as bad as those from Republican leader Rush Limbaugh. Those comments he made were I feel horrible but he, unlike people like Rush, did apologize to the President and the President allegedly accepted (I would feel differently if he didn't) there shouldn't be an issue. Where is Michael Steele's critizism of the "Barrack the magic negro" song proudly played by the right-wing hypocrites?

But the clear winner is Rudy Giuliani. He went on Good Morning America on Friday and said "There were no domestic terror attacks under George Bush". Dana Perino said something simular on Fox in November. Now correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't 9/11 under George Bush? Wasn't the Anthrax attacks under George Bush? How about the D.C. Sniper? Richard Reed? The attacks at LAX where two El Al airline reps were shot? The 2006 SUV attack at at the University of North Carolina? Do any of these ring any bells? I guess Republicans think if you tell a lie often enough you start to believe it. I won't cause I know the truth and that is these events actually DID HAPPEN!

Hello

I think I need a reminder for all those who are taking advantage of the cold weather back east to attack those who believe in global warming. IT'S WINTER IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE COLD. That is all.

What we aren't hearing

With the announcement that Christopher Dodd and Byron Dorgan not running for re-election we are getting from all the right-wing controlled media how it's the end of the Democrats. Funny how they didn't say it about Republicans when Martinez from Fla, Voinovich from Oh, Brownbeck from Ks and Bond from Mo were not running either in 2010. But the media is so right-wing now we only hear one side of the story.

Also I have to take issue with an op-ed piece Newt Gingrich had in yesterday's USA Today. He said it's ok to attack President Obama. In fact he called it "citizenship". Where the hell was he when I was called un-patriotic for attacking George Bush? Where the hell was he when I was called un-american when I was attacking Bush? Where the hell was he when I was told I can't support the troops being against the Iraq War? Just another right-wing blowhard who gets way too much airtime and yet another example of the hypocrites on the right.

Enough Already

Certain things I take personally. Healthcare reform the gloves are coming off. First off I told you how my father was told he has to die from the death panels that currently reign from the insurance companies so I'm going to remind you who are against heathcare reform you are for the murder of not only my father but over 45,000 Americans who die each year without proper health insurance. You are murderers you sick bastards!

Freedoms

Why are Republicans always seem to be willing to give up our freedoms? When the patriot act (or as I always call it the invasion of privacy act) was passed that's exactly what happens. And as always when Republicans pass something they screw it up. Yet when it comes to things that might help people like heathcare reform, jobs the Republicans are always against it. They never want to help anyone but big business. They are willing to sacrafice our freedoms for big business and that's what needs to be stopped. Remember the saying those who are willing to sacrafice freedom for security deserve nether.

Another Reminder

I guess I'm back in full force now :)

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=Jim+Demint+holding+up+Tsa+nominee&btnG=Google+Search

Another reminder how Republicans are still responsible for the terror problems the fact is that one Republican, Jim Demint (R, SC) is holding up President Obama's nominee for the TSA because of his fear that he will unionize workers. And I think some reminders for my Republican friends are in order.

First off the first responders to 9/11 were union members.

Second Captain Sully Sullenberger was a union member.

I realize Republicans spit on 9/11 as often as they can but union members were the heroes as well as Sullenberger

One Step Behind

Here is the whole problem with the war on terror. We always seem to be a step behind. Let's start with Al Queda. First they were in Afghanistan. We attack they allegedly move to Iraq. We attack they move to Pakistan, we attack and now they are either in Yemen or Somalia even if we attack there they will move to other friendly countries. Problem we are always a step behind.

Now let's take a look at the recent attacks and attempted attacks. After 9/11 stricter security measures were in place. We had the shoe bomber now people have to take off their shoes we had the attempted attack on Christmas. Now passengers are stuck on the last hours of flights can't go to the bathrooms all pillows and blankets are taken. Again we are a step behind.

We need people to start thinking about how to get a step ahead.

Good Place to start

http://www.forbes.com/feeds/ap/2010/01/04/general-us-obama-effigy-plains_7247247.html

I see where in former Presdient Jimmy Carter's hometown some psycho had a Barack Obama doll around a noose. Feds are probing it but I got a good place to start and that is with two people who are consistantly calling for the overthrow of the President: Congresswoman Michelle Bachman and Republican Leader Rush Limbaugh. They continously threaten the President and need to be arrested.

Bonus Idiot

http://mediamatters.org/mmtv/201001030003

I had to give a bonus idiot of the week. I try not to but this is incredibly dumb but I guess with great examples like John Ensign, Sanford from South Carolina, Larry Craig, David Vitter it makes sense. Brit Hume on Fox called for Tiger Woods to "be a great example to the world and convert to Christianity". First I thought Fox claimed to be a news channel why the hell are they promiting any religion? Second Tiger Woods is happy with whatever religious beliefs he has so what business is it of Humes? Third why would anyone convert to a religion that is responsible for most wars in history?

Idiot of the week

I normally do my idiot of the week award on Monday but I have to bring to your attention an op-ed piece in today's Los Angeles Times. In the piece the author, a gentleman named Doyle McManus. He actually had the nerve to compare intelligence failure of 9/11 to the attempted bombing on Christmas day. Bottom line as I will ALWAYS continue to remind my Republican friends is BUSH WAS TOLD AN ATTACK WAS COMING A MONTH BEFORE 9/11 AND CHOSE TO IGNORE IT! Anyone who thinks otherwise is stupid and Doyle McManus you are clearly the idiot of the week.
