Weapons of Mass Destraction

Looking more at the mosque that Republicans (and some Democrats) are making an issue I do have a question: Isn't this an issue that's just a New York issue? Aren't Republicans the ones who are about states right except when it comes to a woman's right to choose? I guess they are full of shit as always and really this is just a ploy by them to fuel peoples anger to try to get votes even though they, when asked, show they continuously have no ideas.

Was the attack on 9/11 a New York issue? All Americans were affected by the attack and therefore have an opinion about the proposed mosque. Ultimately, it is up to the City of New York to work this out but Americans, in general, are going to have strong feelings about it.

Interesting how you state that fetus butchery (you chose to title it the liberal, sanitary, politically correct way, I choose to title it what it really is.) is not about state's rights for Republicans. Do you not understand that Roe v. Wade was about taking rights away from the states?

Again as always you are dodging the question. Do you believe in our constitution or not. This HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE 9/11 ATTACKS. The reference is only done by the right to fuel fear. Sorry in your narrow minded world view you think as you do but for once answer my damn question. This has only to do with our constitution.

This is about religious freedom and nothing else

if this is about 9/11 wouldn't we have gone to war with Saudi Arabia where the hijackers were from and not Iraq which had nothing to do with it

You've got it backwards, Erik. Nobody is questioning the legality of putting the mosque there. Let's all agree it's legal, nobody is saying otherwise.

The debate is about whether or not it's the proper thing to do. Don't say this has nothing to do with 9/11, the issue is all about 9/11. If 9/11 didn't happen, nobody would have a problem with the mosque. I, of course, suspect that there would be no plans for a mosque if 9/11 didn't happen but that's just an opinion.

It is about the constitution Robert why can't you just admit that unless its Christianity you don't want freedom of religion? You realize also YOU ARE DIRECTLY CREATING A TOOL FOR SCUM LIKE BIN LADEN TO RECRUIT MORE TERRORISTS by being as stupid as republicans are, and some democrats are right now

Erik, your accusing me of being anti-Constitution and Christian-centric is completely off-base. You are clueless.

Robert quit acting like you actually give a shit about the workers and victims, including friends of mine, we know Republicans like yourself are only using them as props. Recently Republicans BLOCKED a bill giving aid to 9/11 victims. That's right BLOCKED! So stop acting like you care or are honoring them cause you don't give a rats ass about them.

Erik, you need to refrain from telling me how I really think, or what I'm really about. First of all, it's presumtuous and rude. Secondly, you're way off base. I know who I am. I am comfortable with who I am. No matter how many times you tag labels on me (racist, typical Republican, Islamophobic, narrow-minded), it doesn't make it so and just shows your own shortcomings.

As for the 9/11 victims, good for the Republicans, it's 9 years later and time to move on. If they still consider themselves victims, it's their problem.
