Horror Films

So I figure since Halloween is tomorrow I wanted to list my 5 favorite horror films. Mind you this is my opinion and I'd like to know what anyone else list would be. To me I feel no reason is necessary as the films are scary.

5) Silence of the Lambs.
4) The Omen
3) Dracula
2) Jaws
1) The Exorcist

The Info

So did you see the positive message Obama said last night in his T.V. add? Did you see no attack on insane more of the same McCain? Did you see how McCain has no answers except to do nothing but attack as right-wingers only know how to do? I did. So to sum up:

Obama: Answers, common sense policies, positive campaign

Insane more of the same McCain: No answers, continuation of Bush's failed policies, negative campaign since he has no ideas.

One Prop

I'd like to talk about a measure on the ballot in California and that's prop 8. I've heard so many lies coming from the people who are in favor of that (of course the religious freaks) who are claiming all sorts of nonsense.

What prop 8 will do if passed will abolish same-sex marriages. The crap I heard from the churches who are spending millions includes how the church would lose tax-exempt status (which if it were true I would applaud) and they hope you are just so homophobic enough that you would agree with them.

This IS a civil rights issue. If two people are in love they should be able to marry no matter what the sexual preference is. It's sad that the church (who allowed their priests to sexually molest boys for years) is so against this but what do you expect.

So in this case I urge you to vote no on prop 8.

I love it

ctctI Love the fact that now that Ted Stevens (R, Alaska) is a convicted felon he is not unable to vote in Alaska according to their law. So he can't vote for himself in his own election.

On a more disturbing note I saw where in West Hollywood some loser dressed a dummy up as Sarah Palin and put a noose on her. There is no reason for this behavior and I feel I am consistant and that is not right. He needs to take the display down.

On McCain

I've said this before if anything happens to Obama in terms of an assassination attempt I fully blame insane more of the same McCain and Palin. They have done nothing but encourage violence and have not condoned the threats done made against him in rallies they conducted. Here is another example of the behavior they allow:

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/washingtondc/la-na-plot28-2008oct28,0,2491720.story

Again if anything happens to Obama this is on the Republicans.

Something you should know

My friend Erika sent gave this to me and it's something you should know. If you want to see this for yourself click on my myspace link and on my friends find Erika and click her blog. She lives in Oregon and mailed in her ballot but found instead of the normal stamp she was charged .59 cents. Now if you want to mail in your ballots I suggest you contact your Secretary of State's office and find out for sure.

Birds of a feather

Again even more news about McCain being attached to a criminal.

http://timesonline.typepad.com/uselections/2008/10/keating-law-fir.html

So this is a firm founded by old McCain buddy Charles Keating. Remember the Keating five which McCain will always be attached to cause of his favors he did. Well his firm is still donating money to McCain's campaign.

I'm glad Obama is running a clean campaign cause there is so much stuff he could use.

Did You Know??

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/14/mccain-transition-chief-a_n_134595.html

So with the crap Obama is taking with his phony ties to terrorism (even though he has addressed that on many occasions and he was 8 when the events in question occurred) how about insane more of the same McCains ACTUAL ties to terror. I posted earlier about his ties to a woman who was a delegate at the Republican Convention who bombed an obortion clinic. We also know his friendship to G. Gordon Liddy who has many times advocated if one sees a federal officer to shoot them now we find a key member of his transition team (talk about being presumptuous) lobbyed for the U.N. to have santions eased against Saddam Hussein.

So I ask who has ties to terrorists??

More corruption

On the heels of the damning Troopergate scandal as well as $150,000 for clothes I find this:

http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/21/palin.travel.ap/

It shows how Palin has charged her state of Alaska $21,012 for her kids travel to events where they are not invited to. Think about how ethically wrong that is.

Why Not??

The funny thing (as we have been told we are expecting yet another round of Santa Ana winds) is how people say how weather forecasters shouldn't say when the winds are coming cause people who set fires will know. If have a couple of problems with that:

A) They are saying weather people shouldn't say what the weather is

B) People who set fires will know it's windy anyway when they wake up and see it's windy

C) The fire last week was set by a downed power line and not by hand

D) If there is a problem (and this is with things like high-speed chases as well) is there really is a lack of follow-up by the media on the fires that are set by human hands. We don't know what charges they face we don't really find out what time they get we don't know what eventually happens to these people and in the end that would be the ultimate way to show people how stupid they are if they even think about it.

Who is elite

Remember how John Edwards was called an "elitist" from the right-wing media for paying for a $400 haircut? Where is the equal outcry when the Republican Party spends $150,000 for Palin's clothes??

http://www.411mania.com/politics/columns/88375

Just wondering

Just wondering why when a Republican is arrested with voter fraud it isn't as much news as when Acorn is just accused of it? Example:

http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-fraud20-2008oct20,0,3842357.story

The fact is I shouldn't have to search for stories like that.

Last SNL thought

Maybe I was too rough on Sarah Palin's SNL stint after all Saturday Night Live hasn't been funny for years and maybe that was a continuance of it. Then again Palin has no personality so the mix was there.

two weeks left

Two weeks left before the election. Remember no matter who you are going to vote for make sure you vote. This is a very important election.

Big Endorsement

I see where Barrack Obama got the endorsement of former Sec. of State Powell yesterday. More then any newspaper this is actually a big endorsement considering who he served under and his reasons why. The main one is (even though sane people have been saying that all along) is Sarah Palin is not qualified to be President of the United States.

On a different note I see where Palin was supposed to do several skits on Saturday Night Live last week but pretty much refused to do them. Not a real maverick is she??

Even one more debate note

One more observation which spoke volumes about insane more of the same McCain. Obama gave McCain a chance to condone the shouts of terrorist, kill him, and treason and not only did McCain not condone those chants but he immediately lied and said that similar chants were heard at Obama rallies. Which if it were true believe me I would be just as upset because that has no business during any political campaign. So that means McCain agrees with the calls to "kill him" and he's a "terrorist" and Obama has committed "treason".

That speaks volumes about McCain.

Two more thoughts on the Debate

I saw this on the replay last night and I'm wondering if this will be talked about or not:

Barrack Obama was wearing a flag lapel pin. Insane more of the same McCain was not. This has been an issue for the right and this is the 2nd debate in a row where McCain hasn't worn his.

I wonder how much McCain really knows about Sarah Palin. Her child DOES NOT have autism as McCain said last night the child has Downs Syndrome and there is a difference. And how can he say that he would spend more for special education when he said he would have a spending freeze?

Sad Ending

The Dodgers season just ended tonight. That was a great run but the Phillies were just a better team. They found ways to win.

This will present an interesting off season for the Dodgers though. They have quite a few free agents but in my opinion here is who they should re-sign:

Rafael Furcal. I know he had a horrible post season but he is still a great shortstop.

Manny Ramirez. Duh. I know he will be expensive but you can't say he doesn't produce.

Derek Lowe. This is a questionable considering his age (sad but I'm older then him) but he's durable and will give you a lot of innings.

Casey Blake. He was solid down the stretch and a leader in the clubhouse.

Now if only they can find a sucker for Andruw Jones (can you say DH) but I do hope they keep Pierre if only for his speed.

So I say bye to Brad Penny and Jeff Kent (not sure who else is a free agent) but DeWitt will be solid and they have the young pitching to replace Penny.

MOre Right Racsim

This is the most disgusting thing to date.

http://www.kold.com/Global/story.asp?S=9178752&nav=menu86_13_10

It shows how a restaurant in Arizona who is an African American Obama supporter was vandalized by insane more of the same McCain supporters. This is sad and I am starting to fear more and more for Obama's life cause these nutcases are going to take a shot at him.

Debate Thoughts

Some thoughts and observations on the last debate between McCain and Obama:

McCain had a strong 1st half but in the 2nd half he was getting angry and it was showing.

Obama stayed cool even though McCain was trying to get him upset

McCain kept smirking while Obama was talking and Obama was smiling but listening to every work McCain said.

Ok

Just to any family members to happen on this site the family is ok we are not near the fire (at least yet) while it was dangerously close to my work which was an adventure leaving with the traffic from those being evacuated and the brave heroes of Firefighters and Policemen coming in unfortunately there are homes being destroyed as I type this and my heart goes out to all the people who are effected by this nightmare.

This is his advisor??

Going in our wayback machine (if you know the reference you are good) I'd like to take you back to the Presidential scam ( I mean forum) where insane more of the same McCain was asked who are the wisest people you know. Insane more of the same McCain included Georgia Democrat and Civil Rights leader John Lewis (D, GA) to the shock of everyone cause at the time Lewis said he rarely if at all spoke with insane more of the same McCain.

So this wise man (according to insane more of the same McCain's words) had the following directed toward McCain:

"What I am seeing reminds me too much of another destructive period in American history," Lewis wrote in a statement first posted on Politico's website. "Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin are sowing the seeds of hatred and division, and there is no need for this hostility in our political discourse."

"As public figures with the power to influence and persuade, Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin are playing with fire, and if they are not careful, that fire will consume us all," the statement continues. "They are playing a very dangerous game that disregards the value of the political process and cheapens our entire democracy. We can do better. The American people deserve better."

What response did insane more of the same McCain have?? :
"Congressman John Lewis' comments represent a character attack against Governor Sarah Palin and me that is shocking and beyond the pale," reads the statement from McCain. "The notion that legitimate criticism of Senator Obama's record and positions could be compared to Governor George Wallace, his segregationist policies and the violence he provoked is unacceptable and has no place in this campaign. I am saddened that John Lewis, a man I've always admired, would make such a brazen and baseless attack on my character and the character of the thousands of hardworking Americans who come to our events to cheer for the kind of reform that will put America on the right track.

First did he see the last week and the hate that he and Palin inspired? Then to blame Obama for the accurate statement Lewis made sure showed more disrespect toward Obama. I'm sorry McCain you are absolutely wrong and you are the reason if anything happens to Obama in the future cause of the hate you inspired.

You are trying to have it both ways as always and that is why you are losing and will lose in 23 or so days.

Rep. Lewis is right on and this is McCain's wise man.

Religion in Politics

I know this is kinda old news but I want to talk about it because to me it's more important then a lot of issues (although I did get my 401K in the mail this week and that was really ugly) but there are preachers who are endorsing insane more of the same McCain and are demanding that they should not lose their tax exempt status because of it.

I think it's wrong. Absolutely wrong. We should in no way shape or form have religion shoved down our throats (mind you I feel the same way for preachers who endorse Obama) and this is the reason why we have separation of church and state. This should NEVER be allowed and as far as I'm concerned if the preachers who endorsed insane more of the same McCain continue to get their way regarding this and not have the IRS come knocking on their door it will lead us down a more dangerous path then we are going already.

Religion as far as I'm concerned is already too involved with with politics especially here in California with the freaks who want to overturn gay marriage. And they feel they are doing "god's work" now I'm sorry but I would feel if there is a god (and let's face it does anyone really know) god would want every race, religion, viewpoint, sexual preference, whatever to have long happy lives without fears thrust upon them by these radical religious jerks? That's what I would think god would want.

So religion has no place in politics period.

You know if you're a Republican IF

A friend sent this to me and it's really accurate:

1. Jesus loves you and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton.

2. Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's Daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him, and a bad guy when Bush needed a 'we can't find Bin Laden' diversion.

3. Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is Communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.

4. The United States should get out of the United Nations, but our highest national priority should continue to be enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq .

5. A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but multinational drug corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind without regulation.

6. The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in speeches, while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.

7. If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.

8. A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our longtime allies, then demand their cooperation and money.

9. Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy, but providing health care to all Americans is socialism. HMO's and insurance companies have the best interests of the public at heart.

10. Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in schools.

11. A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense, but a president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.

12. Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

13. The public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but George Bush's driving record is none of our business.

14. Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then it's an illness, and you need our prayers for your recovery.

15. Supporting 'Executive Privilege' for every Republican ever born, who will be born, or who might be born (in perpetuity.)

16. What Bill Clinton did in the 1960's is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the '80's is irrelevant.

17. Support for hunters who shoot their friends and blame them for wearing orange vests similar to those worn by the quail.

Who's Terrorist Ties??

So with the desperate insane more of the same McCain campaign accusing Obama of having ties to Ayers who did things when he was 8 years and and has changed his life I would like to talk about the Republican Vice President nominee's CURRENT ties to terrorist activities.

Palin's husband IS a member of a group that wants Alaska to secede from the United States. She has spoken as recently as THIS YEAR at their convention telling them to "keep up the good work".

So while Republicans blame Obama for something he had nothing to do with YET with their Vice President Candidate HAS ties to groups nothing is said by the right-wing media.

By the way the last time a state wanted to secede from the United States we had something called the CIVIL WAR you may have heard about.

Inciting Violence

Has anyone heard insane more of the same McCain and Palin's rally's lately? I have. And if anyone tries to attack, hurt in anyway Barrack Obama and/or Joe Biden it is on the Republicans hands. Especially insane more of the same McCain and Palin!

Heard clearly and loudly regarding Barrack Obama when insane more of the same McCain and Palin ask "who is Barrack Obama: "Terrorist" "Treason" "Kill Him"

And the fact that neither one condones those words either at the time or ANYTIME LATER means that they agree with them. And since they are inciting the violence they will be accessories to the violence. And that continues the right thinking it's ok to make threats and that says a lot for who they are.

More Disgusting

I watched the replay of the debate on C-Span last night (I know I need a life) and I noticed three things:

A) After the debate insane more of the same McCain refused to shake Obama's hand afterwords

B) Insane more of the same McCain just left after instead of staying and meeting members of the audience which is standard. I guess he was pissed at his horrible performance.

C) He didn't acknowledge the African-American who asked a question and refused to say her name. I think insane more of the same McCain's showing his true self. And Robert take that as you will but there is a clear pattern.

So to sum it up Obama destroyed insane more of the same McCain in a debate which format was demanded by insane more of the same McCain. That sucking sound is the air coming out of McCain's campaign.

Tuesday, October 07, 2008

He said what?

Hope EVERYONE saw insane more of the same McCain's reaction. He looked straight at Obama and said "that one". That was disgusting and pathetic which represents insane more of the same McCain's campaign.

Monday, October 06, 2008

Pathetic

Really showing how pathetic and desperate Republicans are right now since they are incredibly horrible I present to you Sarah Pallin. Over the weekend here in California she said that Obama "pals around with terrorists".

I think as usual she needs to be taught history on the two threats that were created. Yes created.

Osama Bin Laden: Papi Bush is responsible for his rise to power by giving him arms against Afghanistan.

Saddam Hussein: Ronald Reagan, George Bush (Papi again) Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld are responsible for the exact same reasons. They gave him arms and money.

I think the current administration has so much to do with terrorism then Obama and I have facts on my side

What will it be

Just wondering what the Republicans will attempt at their October surprise this year to try to steal the election. I think I narrowed it down to three possibilities.

A) The capture or death of Bin Laden. Not likely since Bush himself has said he never thinks about him but still that would be their best bet.

B) A phony raise of the terror level. They will, as they always do, claim they have a credible threat (which they don't) and they will try to scare people (as they always try) into submission

C) Start rumors of an affair that Obama never had. The media in its ever willingness to smear will report it whether it's factual or not.

Changing the subject briefly I see O.J. was found guily on all counts last night. I hope the conviction was for this crime and not the one done years ago.

Debate Thoughts

Round 2 observations:

Palin didn't answer questions directly. It was horrible. She was strong but said nothing.

The moderator was horrible. She allowed Palin to stray from topic and the debate was out of control.

Biden was great. He actually answered questions

Palin doesn't even know what the job of the Vice President is. That should be the most telling point because if insane more of the same McCain steals the election (which is the only way he will win) she should know what her role is.

The Latest

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/10/mccain-and-pali.html

The latest attempt to distract people from the issues and the debate tonight shows insane more of the same McCain's camp saying tonight's moderator is not going to be fair for the sole reason she is writing a book on African-American politicians. That's really pathetic and shows of desperation on their parts.

I found it funny how in a speech the other day Palin was actually making fun of Biden's age considering insane more of the same McCain's older then Biden.

While the expectations have been set so low for Palin I think Biden is in the most interesting situation. If he doesn't attack her quotes and policies he'll be labeled as soft and if he does he'll be labeled as sexist. Should be an interesting night.

The usual

I hope you understand this is the usual mo from Republicans.

A) Scare the people. (Bush going on TV saying yet again the sky is falling with the disaster Republicans created on Wall Street with deregulation)

B) Blame. (Even though it's not Democrats fault that doesn't stop Republicans from blaming Democrats. Insane more of the same McCain blamed Obama. House Republicans blamed Pelosi for telling the truth about who's is clearly to blame which is Bush and the Republicans.

C) Offer no solutions. I haven't heard any solutions by Republicans in the house or senate. None. They don't have a plan. They have no ideas at all.

Remember that next month.
