Unbelievable

So they had hearing yesterday with the head of BP. We had the usual lies from the head saying he had no idea what was going on but that's not why I'm angry cause that would be what was expected. Why I'm angry is how Republican Joe Barton APOLOGIZED TO BP for having to put up a 20 Billion dollar fund for paying for the cleanup for their mess. There are Republicans who think BP shouldn't have to pay for the cleanup it should be paid for the taxpayer. He actually called the money a "slush fund". He is echoing the opinions of Republican leaders like the drug addict and Michelle Bachman. If there is ever a reason to NEVER vote Republican again it's cause of that one statement.

So apparently, you don't believe in due process. We don't know yet if the explosion was caused by an accident, a rival oil company, sabotage by a disgruntled employee, or even terrorists. Yet, you and the Obama Administration have already pronounced BP 100% guilty.

Barton was correct in apologizing. We don't fully know BP's responsibilities, yet we jump to the conclusion that it's solely their fault. That's a lynch mob mentality. Apparently, that's okay because they are a big, bad, oil company.

Robert if you look at the reports released this is a direct, DIRECT result of at least bp being neglectful at most they should be criminally liable for murder. Whatever happened to your own quote about responsibility? If its Bp's rig according to your quote they should be the ones responsible. Along with halliburton who had a hand in this.
