A couple of things

Don't be surprised if there are gaps in my posts over the next few weeks. I have two fathers (my mom divorced when I was young and remarried) one of them (who is on dialysis to begin with) is in the hospital with pneumonia and the other is having surgery for mellenoma (sorry if the spelling is wrong) this week. Obviously my mind is going in about a million different directions at this moment so please bear with me.

I would like to talk about something that has bothered me. I posted last week how I agreed with the law in Arizona that delt with illegal imagration. Robert posted I was a "racist, bastard, and nazi". I agreed that on that issue I was a racist I don't deny that but one word has bothered me and that is nazi. I always hated that word with a passion especially being Jewish myself. I never told anyone this of my friends but my grandparents were holocaust survivors (they died when I was young so I never had a chance to really talk to them about it) and my grandfathers sister was apparently killed in the holocaust. I hate how the right continously compares President Obama to Hitler and the fact is either they really have no idea what was done or they really don't care. The ignorance just amazes me and disgusts me and I really just want to talk to these ignorant idiots and ask if they really know what was done. And if you want to know why I really dispise those who deny the holocaust well that's why and why I consider them anti-semetic that's exactly why. It affected my family directly.

Now on a better note I'd like to say congrats to the FBI for arresting the suspect in the attempted bombing in Times Square at JFK as he was trying to leave the country. Good work.

Erik, you know I used the terms "Nazi" and "racist" in a tongue and cheek manner. If the word "Nazi" offends you so much, I won't use it again, but you really should stop playing the victim here. You were not called either name.

I'm sorry about your fathers. I know this has been tough on you. I am going through a similar thing with my mother.
