He's right
In this case Ron Paul is right. Yes his racist writings have reappeared recently but really
http://thinkprogress.org/lgbt/2011/12/30/395881/ron-paul-claimed-an-aids-patient-is-a-victim-of-his-own-lifestyle-in-1987-book/
But really unless AIDS is acquired via hospital and dirty needles there there are ways to prevent it. If you choose not to it is a lifestyle choice. If you chose to take drugs via needles if you chose to have unprotected sex it's a choice.

Wrong
In today's Los Angeles Times, Ronald Brownstein has an op-ed talking about "The GOP that 2008 created".
The whole piece is wrong. The GOP has been the same. They are being called on it more. THEY are the ones who gave the banks the bailout. Their policies that fail like trickle down economics have been the same for decades, their views on social issues have been the same for decades only difference really is they are louder and more obnoxious now. Other then that they are the same Republicants they always have been.

Irony
Is it me or is it ironic that, when Republicants are state after state are changing the rules requiring people who vote get an id(which is illegal called a poll tax), don't REQUIRE one in Iowa for the caucus next week? They are hypocrites in the worst way!

uhhhhhhhhhh Rick?
http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2011/12/28/395599/perry-canadian-oil/
I'm not sure if Rick Perry is aware of this but when he gave this quote "U.S. should buy more Canadian oil so we don't have to buy from a foreign source" last I checked to go to Canada you do need a passport which I think makes it a foreign source.
Sorry Mr. Perry (republicant) you failed basic geography.

Can't tell the truth
So Newt Gingrich now says his first wife wanted the divorce from him. Facts show otherwise
http://www.cnn.com/2011/12/26/politics/gingrich-divorce-file/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
If the Republicants claim how they love the "sanctity of marriage" how can this guy be legitimate?

No you aren't close
http://www.americablog.com/2011/12/gingrichs-campaign-manager-concurs-newt.html
So the idiot Newt Gingrich (as well as Rick Perry) failed to get enough signatures to get on the ballot in Virginia for their Repubicant primary.
The campaign manager for Gingrich actually compared his failure to the Pearl Harbor attacks calling it a "unexpected setback"
So the Pearl Harbor attack is an "unexpected setback??" really? Funny I thought it was an act of war by Japan

Two Questions
With all of those who attack President Obama over religion I have one question: What specific laws have been signed by the President to weaken religion? I'd really like to know
Also since the right hates immigrants I have a second question: Why don't you hate Santa Clause? Every year he enters and leaves this country illegally :)

Just Wondering
Just wondering why the right doesn't point out every year how Santa Clause enters the country illegally? They hate illegal immigrants don't they? :)

Tradition
http://www.newseum.org/yesvirginia/
Every year I post this. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and is safe for the holiday.
"DEAR EDITOR: I am 8 years old.
"Some of my little friends say there is no Santa Claus.
"Papa says, 'If you see it in THE SUN it's so.'
"Please tell me the truth; is there a Santa Claus?
"VIRGINIA O'HANLON.
"115 WEST NINETY-FIFTH STREET."
VIRGINIA, your little friends are wrong. They have been affected by the skepticism of a skeptical age. They do not believe except [what] they see. They think that nothing can be which is not comprehensible by their little minds. All minds, Virginia, whether they be men's or children's, are little. In this great universe of ours man is a mere insect, an ant, in his intellect, as compared with the boundless world about him, as measured by the intelligence capable of grasping the whole of truth and knowledge.
Yes, VIRGINIA, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus. It would be as dreary as if there were no VIRGINIAS. There would be no childlike faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished.
Not believe in Santa Claus! You might as well not believe in fairies! You might get your papa to hire men to watch in all the chimneys on Christmas Eve to catch Santa Claus, but even if they did not see Santa Claus coming down, what would that prove? Nobody sees Santa Claus, but that is no sign that there is no Santa Claus. The most real things in the world are those that neither children nor men can see. Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? Of course not, but that's no proof that they are not there. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world.
You may tear apart the baby's rattle and see what makes the noise inside, but there is a veil covering the unseen world which not the strongest man, nor even the united strength of all the strongest men that ever lived, could tear apart. Only faith, fancy, poetry, love, romance, can push aside that curtain and view and picture the supernal beauty and glory beyond. Is it all real? Ah, VIRGINIA, in all this world there is nothing else real and abiding.
No Santa Claus! Thank God! he lives, and he lives forever. A thousand years from now, Virginia, nay, ten times ten thousand years from now, he will continue to make glad the heart of childhood.

I have an answer
http://mediamatters.org/blog/201112230001?frontpage
A question was asked (nevermind the racial tones) how long would Sean Hannity's show last if he made a comment about the President "looking like a skinny, ghetto crackhead" I have an answer... Forever
You see the right could say whatever they want about President Obama (and they have), they can make all sorts of false accusations, they can accuse him of not being from America (despite a birth certificate showing otherwise) they call him anything and everything and face no responsibility for their hatred toward our elected President.
Now when Herman Cain was accused of sexual harassment you saw how the right was blaming everyone BUT Herman Cain. It's really pathetic actually.
I believe we are responsible for our words. I believe we should be held to higher standards. The right believes in the lowest common denominator I believe we should be held in the highest denominator. I believe when the right lies they should be suspended if not more. I believe the same about the left.
Problem is no one is monitoring the hate.

Huh
Let me see... The Occupy protesters are using their right for free speech but yet those who were arrested need to take a class on free speech

The nerve of the Republicants for blaming President Obama for the tax cut problem. THIS IS ONLY THE REPUBLICANTS FAULT!!

Congrats
I'd like to say congrats to Republicants for as always refusing to do the work they were hired to do and giving the house back to the Democrats next year as well as the re-election of President Obama. You Republicants are truly do nothing as they prove time and time again.

Correction
I often called Nancy Pelosi (accurately) a weak leader when she was speaker of the house. John Boehner makes her look like superwomen. He has on a few occasions now negotiated a compromise with the White House and the Senate put the tea party makes him cower every time. Grow a set Mr. Speaker and be a man and not the cowardly lion.

Remember
Remember Jan 1st when your taxes go up the people who signed the pledge NEVER TO RAISE THEM did. That's right the Republicant party.

You are sick
http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/12/17/georgia-birther-suit-attempts-to-remove-obama-from-2012-ballot/
So President Obama has long shown his birth certificate and it's STILL not good enough?? You "people" are sick and need to see shrinks. And again this is only cause of the color of his skin.

Good idea
http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2011/12/18/391576/gingrich-marshal-judges/
So Gingrich said he would send U.S. Marshals to arrest "activist judges". That's fine start with the Supreme Court and arrest activist judges Thomas, Alito, Scalia. That would be a great start. After all they are only driven by their own political views.

Reality Check
With the uproar over the Keystone Pipeline the Republicants are insisting on building we need a few facts of the matter. First the following:
The owners of the pipeline are not an American company but a Canadian company
With that said the logic with the Republicants saying it will create jobs what they aren't saying is that it will probably be Canadian jobs. Not American jobs.
Why would Republicants, who show repeatedly that they hate America, want to create jobs here?
http://crooksandliars.com/susie-madrak/tens-thousands-jobs-keystone-xl-pipel

Did you know?
Did you know the bullshit war in Iraq is over? I bet you didn't cause it hasn't really been mentioned in the bullshit media. 4500 soldiers dead based by the lies of George Bush. Well over $1 billion dollars spent, our economy in ruins cause of this. I so wish Bush could be tried as well as Cheney, Powell and everyone who spread the lies about it.

is it me
Is it me or is it ironic that Newt, multi time adulterer Gingrich is signing a pledge forbidding Adultery? Isn't this the party of family values?
Sunday, December 11, 2011
Just remember
To those who continue to claim President Obama is a Muslim(which since we have freedom of religion in this country it shouldn't matter anyway) I seem to recall the same people were attacking President Obama FOR HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS PRIEST. Oh yeah you aren't supposed to remember that cause Republicants think you are stupid.

Wrong and a liar
http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/david/hannity-osama-bin-laden-dead-thanks-george-b
So Hannity think Bin Laden is dead "thanks to George Bush" and refuses to give the President WHO ACTUALLY GAVE THE ORDER TO KILL BIN LADEN the credit for having the courage to do so.
In fact Bush "didn't think about Bin Laden anymore"
The coward that was Bush deserves NO CREDIT

Huh
I realize there is jealousy of the Lakers in the NBA but to overrule a trade made is horrible. I think the NBA has NO RIGHT to do so. They didn't when the Knicks got Anthony or the Heat signed Bosh and LeBron. Or the Celtics when they got Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. Nope just the Lakers.
That being said I think the Lakers gave too much for Chris Paul but if that's what they wanted so be it. There should be no interference.

Funny
They can't attack him on his policy so they will attack him on everything else.
http://nation.foxnews.com/president-obama/2011/12/03/obama-hawaii-17-day-vacation
remember how Bush took vacations a month at a time? Remember on those vacations he was told things like "Bin Laden determined to strike in the United States" and chose to do nothing? Remember when Katrina hit and Bush was playing guitar? And singing happy birthday to John McCain?
The republicants should in NO WAY complain about this.
