In today's Los Angeles Times, Ronald Brownstein has an op-ed talking about "The GOP that 2008 created".

The whole piece is wrong. The GOP has been the same. They are being called on it more. THEY are the ones who gave the banks the bailout. Their policies that fail like trickle down economics have been the same for decades, their views on social issues have been the same for decades only difference really is they are louder and more obnoxious now. Other then that they are the same Republicants they always have been.
