If you really want to look at the difference between democrats and republicants take a look at the what they stand for.... First democrats are also called "progressives". In other words we progress. We think ahead to the future.

Republicants though another word is G.O.P. or "grand old party". Take a look at their policies. Old. in the past. They are using the same policies that never have and never will work. They will never learn and try anything different.
