This is my MLB edition..
First off thank you for an enjoyable All Star Game. Was fun to watch.
Second I hear stories that the Designated Hitter may be coming to the National League. For the love of god NO. I like both leagues being unique.
Third I see the Dodgers got their rental for the year in Manny Machado. Great year having an MVP caliber season for the American League. Welcome to a tough league Manny.

I suspect this won't be a rental. Machado's just coming into his prime and I don't think the Dodgers would want him ultimately going to the Yankees, Red Sox, Astros, Brewers, Phillies, or Giants.
Time to dust off the old "Mannywood" t-shirts and caps.
