So Don Imus gets two weeks vacation for those stupid-a$$ comments he made. Wonder when the other networks are going to follow-up on and do the same things for the right-wingers that say racist garbage all the time as they do (if you want proof look in my archives).

You may remember that I always found this song offensive. Foremost, it should be offensive to women. It should also be offensive to blacks. I find it just plain offensive. Yet, I've seen you, Erik, get pumped up whenever someone went up on the karaoke stage to perform this. What's more, I specifically remember you singing(?) this piece of trash in public.
Are these lyrics any less offensive than what Imus said? I don't think so. Are you a racist? Should your boss send you on a "2 weeks vacation"?
Don Imus has been on the apology campaign since the whole thing began. He realized he said something stupid and has repeatedly apologized for it. That's more than I can say for some people. Notice he's not saying anything like "I don't back down on what I say."
By the way, Don Imus is generally regarded as a liberal, albeit, not a far-left one.
Yes, I posted here. This was one big fat curveball I had to slam out of the park.
I have I also stopped once I realized who rude the lyrics were. I never in my life claimed to be perfect or holier then thou or whatever the term is. And actually there also needs to be a stand on these racist lyrics mainly by the hip hop "artists"
And one could look at all of my friends and see what a diverse group of friends I have to prove me wrong. Jewish, Christian, Black, White, Latino, Muslim, male, female, BB (sorry had to) to show I'm not. Right now and you can ask people at corbin tonight they know I haven't done that song in at least 6 years.
And actually I never really liked the song actually it was something I thought I could do when I first started singing. Before I realized I had a EXTREMELY little voice which I do.
I'm working on my own version of the song. Maybe some women will join me on the stage and show how much "back" they got...
