What a shock

I'd like to bring out the two latest Republican double-standards. First I present Kit Bond (R, Mo.). He sent out the following press release:

Last week, Bond led a bipartisan group of Senators in introducing an amendment to help provide needy families affordable housing. Bond’s amendment provides $2 billion to fund low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) projects that have been stalled by the financial credit crisis. This provision will have a real impact in Missouri, especially for low-income, working families in need of safe and affordable housing. … Bond’s amendment will save more than 700 housing units and create 3,000 new jobs in Missouri.

Now I really wouldn't have an issue with this BUT Bond voted AGAINST THE STIMULUS. He is a typical Republican taking credit for something he voted against. He shouldn't receive any benefits from the stimulus.

2nd I present Ms. Palin. You remember her. It's actually sadly hard to forget her since she won't let her 15 minutes expire. She was ordered to pay taxes on property she was using. Just wondering why she is still Gov of Alaska when not paying taxes disqualified Tom Daschle from becoming Secretary of Health and Human services. Why is there no call from the same Republicans for her resignation? Also why is it none of our business on what she owes BUT we had to know what Daschle owed?

Again just the usual double-standards from Republicans.
