There was a piece in the LA Times called the abortion debate continues. Actually there is no debate. ABORTION IS LEGAL. No matter what you think of it IT'S LEGAL. Unless the LAW is overturned ANYONE WHO ATTEMPTS TO STOP PEOPLE HAVING AN ABORTION SHOULD BE ARRESTED IMMEDIATELY!!
And another thing I find completely amusing is these people who are willing to take the lives of doctors who are performing a legal procedure claim they are "pro life"

Just because something is legal doesn't mean it can't be controversial. Geez, Erik, some people want drugs like cocaine and heroin to be legal, this makes the topic of drugs controversial. Some people want gun ownership to be illegal, this makes guns a controversial topic.
There all sorts of things people debate about that are legal or illegal. Saying "there is no debate" because something is legal is a seriously flawed argument.
Speech is legal so anyone can debate anything they'd like.

It depends on the manner of attempting to stop an abortion. Again, speech is legal so it's perfectly okay to try to talk someone out of an abortion. You made another very flawed argument.
