An Apology

I would like to apologize. When I see idiots like Sean Hannity and the other idiots on the right wing calling people stupid for voting Democrats I get angry. It bothers me that they think we, as Democrats, don't know what we are doing. It bothers me that they think we are "bad" for america.

Now I'd like to take a look what we have had in the last few years under Republican rule:

9/11
Legalizing Torture (wonder how that's going to work when our troops get captured now)
Bush ignoring Hurricane Katrina while on vacation
The "Axis of Evil" speech
Illegal invasion of Iraq
Record Deficit
Issues being brought up (Terry Schaivo, Gay Marriage, Flag Burning to name a few) that no one except those people who don't want change care about. (I will give example of what I mean)
Ignoring issues like Darfar, poverty and many other important ones

Now to give a bit of credit the economy appears to be doing well although I do hear rumors of a recession coming. Again that is a rumor.

Now to the President who lies everytime he speaks. He was on George Stephanopoulos and he denied saying stay the course in Iraq. Of couse he has said that many times here are dates:(thanks to thinkprogress)

BUSH: We will stay the course. [8/30/06]

BUSH: We will stay the course, we will complete the job in Iraq. [8/4/05]

BUSH: We will stay the course until the job is done, Steve. And the temptation is to try to get the President or somebody to put a timetable on the definition of getting the job done. We’re just going to stay the course. [12/15/03]

BUSH: And my message today to those in Iraq is: We’ll stay the course. [4/13/04]

BUSH: And that’s why we’re going to stay the course in Iraq. And that’s why when we say something in Iraq, we’re going to do it. [4/16/04]

BUSH: And so we’ve got tough action in Iraq. But we will stay the course. [4/5/04]

Looks like he is caught again.

Now regarding issues like gay marriage that shouldn't even be discussed nationally that should be up to the individual states. But the right wing doesn't want to accept that everyone is different. They are scared for change they only know fear.

Now again I never tell you how to vote. If you feel everything is fine in the country and status quo is good vote how you wish. If you are tired of the lies and deception and corruption vote how you wish.

Ultimately the choice is yours
