Freedom of Speech

Tonight ladies and gentlemen I want to talk about a specific right we have called Freedom of Speech and how that's slowly being eroded in our country. I want to talk about something I found in the Daily News http://www.dailynews.com/Stories/0,1413,200~20954~2890519,00.html this happened at my alma matter El Camino Real High School (class of 1988). They were making a simple High School play and called The Complete History of America (Abridged) which is a spoof(comedy for those right wingers) and made posters to promote the play featuring Dubya with Groucho Marx eyebrows and a cigar. Simple right? Nope. Not in today's society where if you even THINK about making fun of Dubya(something I would never EVER do). ONe senior who supports the loser complained not to the principal, who would have told the student the play is a joke, the student went to the administration stating the way they made dubya look"like an Israeli" now here is my question to that anti-semite: What's wrong with looking like an Israeli? and also to that shallow humorless person I ask: If that was President Clinton would you laugh then? I bet you would. So because of this one shallow racist individual El Camino High School had to spend more money(which since we have gov boobngrabber is thin) and make more posters.

Getting back to the play the play is on the following dates at El Camino High Schoo in Woodland Hills, California. Matinees are between June 8-9 at 1:15 pm. Tickets cost $5 Evenings performances are June 9-11 at 7:30 pm tickets are $12. The kids are trying to raise money to perform "The Laramie Project" at the Edinburg Festival in Scotland this August. The drama department is ranked among the top in the contry so please support them. Thanks
