Brilliant

What a brilliant move from President Obama in announcing his Supreme Court Nominee. It would say a lot of anyone who opposes her. She was nominated by the first Bush. She is well qualified. A great choice.

She is a terrible choice. This is what she said:

"I simply do not know exactly what that difference will be in my judging. But I accept there will be some based on my gender and my Latina heritage."Compare that to the oath a Supreme Court Justice makes:

"I, [NAME], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as [TITLE] under the Constitution and laws of the United States. So help me God."She clearly disqualified herself with her own statement.

What if John Roberts had said:

"I simply do not know exactly what that difference will be in my judging. But I accept there will be some based on my gender and the fact that I am white."I don't think that would have gotten him selected. Do you?

You are not reading (not surprised) the full statement which I just posted a link to. Not surprised you are only reading the Republican racist talking points. But funny since Alieto (not a typo) has a similar backround you weren't upset about him.

But you are a hypocrite aren't you?

I never said I liked Alito. I do like Roberts, though.

Resorting to calling me names again, eh Erik?
