Mel Gibson

I drink. That's well known if you look at my previous posts about alcohol. I don't hide it I'm up front about it. I feel I don't have an alcohol problem and am in control when I do and if I'm out of control I have friends who will stop me from doing anything stupid.

Which brings me to Mel Gibson. One thing I've kinda learned about alcohol is it enhances your personality. If you're loud you get louder if you are angry you get angrier etc. The more you drink the more you you become. So it was no suprise to hear about Mel Gibson's comments after HE was arrested for drunk driving.

We all know about how his father has denied the holocaust right when Passion of the Christ was released. I remember seeing an interview on supposedly liberal CNN saying the Jews just "disappeared" they went to "Sydney, Austrailia or Los Angeles or wherever." From that point I knew the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Add the fact that Gibson is making a movie about the holocaust from the German's point of view.

But getting back to the arrest what the public was never supposed to find out about BUT the celebrity website TMZ.com found how the sheriff of Los Angeles Lee Baca covered up what happened. Where Gibson said how "the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." Then asked the arresting officer "Are you a Jew?" and he blamed Jews for everything. And he threatened to have the cops badge for arresting him. Nice guy isn't he??

The worse part was Lee Baca who attempted to cover that up because Gibson has donated $10,000 to the stepdaughter of a slain deputy AND Gibson has done Public Service Announcements for the sheriff's department.

One more thing if a celebrity is arrested we can usually see the mugshot right away at websites like thesmokinggun.com where they have the mugshots of any famous person arrested. But not Gibson.

This stinks on Gibson and Baca's part. I know when Gibson releases his next movie I'm protesting it and I know when Baca is up for re-election I'm not voting for him. What you do is your choice.

By the way I should add that he did issue one of the phony actor/polition apologies that so many do. One of the ones no sane person would believe.

Blackmail

So the House passed a $2 dollar minimum wage increase AS LONG as the estate tax (it's not a death tax as republicans like to say it is) is repealed. A tax that only applies to about 2.5 % of all americans. The richest of the rich.

That sounds like pollitical blackmail to me.

By the way didn't the House and Senate (republican controlled) give themselves YET ANOTHER increase recently?

Terror Attack

Yesterday the war in the middle east spilled into Seattle where an american muslim gunman who was upset at Israel gunned down 5 people killing 1 (last I heard) at the Jewish Federation there in the middle of downtown in what IS a terror attack on United States soil. If it is ruled anything less that will be a travesty of great proportion.

But then again the war on terror is failing miserably isn't it.

An Apology

I want to apologize to the readers of my site. Yes I'm obsessed with the fued with Robert. I don't understand it myself. I just don't like being disrespected as he is being toward me. I knew when I started talking politics not everyone would agree with me and that's fine. I agree with freedom of speech and your rights to agree and disagree with me.

I just would like to remind you all again if you want to post please you are invited. I respect your opinions I might not agree with you you might not agree with me that's fine it's called dialogue. It's the only way to talk.

So I will say this for hopefully the last time: I'm not mad at Robert. He's mad at me. You will see his link on my website even though he has removed the link to my site.

I guess I just will never understand why he is overreacting without contradicting what I'm saying. I just don't understand why he's throwing away our friendship. Oh well what can I do.

The Last Word

Since my friendship with Robert is apparently over due to whatever bug he has up is A$$ I'd like to show you the last thing he wrote on his website http://purdrivel.blogspot.com because it shows what a damn hipocrite he is. He directly contradicts himself and shows what a damn loser he really is.

Let's take a look. First he says he's angry. Now I talked about how racist the right wing IS. He claims he is an independent. So why would he be angry if I am not talking about independents?
His accusations are uncalled for and have no basis, whatsoever. I give 100's of examples, 100's of how I'm right. He offers no proof how I'm wrong so I guess I'm right since he can't prove it.
I have deleted the link to his blog. I still don't understand. Because you are overreacting to something that if you are an independent it shouldn't bother you should it??
I will no longer contribute to his site. Fine that's your choice I cannot tell you what to or not to do.
If any readers want to see his narrow-minded blog, just click on his name in any of his comments. Now that's the funny one. I'm narrow-minded YET he is the one who's in a fit about what I say. HE's the one who deleted the link to my blog HE is the one who is having problems. Sounds to me like Robert is the one who is narrow-minded to me.
I just will not openly endorse him. Fine I get traffic to my site. You get little to none. My site is for me so I can type my views and if people want they can agree and disagree. That's their right.
I am not censoring anybody but I am attempting to clear my name. You are not censoring anybody BUT you are deleting the link to my site, you are ending our friendship you are overracting to this situation. BUt you are not censoring anybody.

Setting up WW3

I've always said those who fail to understand history are doomed to repeat it. It's happening now. Let's take a look we are in a disaster in Iraq, we have troops engaged in Afghanastan, we have Israel attacking Lebanon, we have tensions with Syria and Iran and while nobody was looking North Korea test fires missiles catching everyone seemingly off guard.

In WW2 we had Germany invading sovern nations but it was Japan who suprised us with that devastating attack on Pearl Harbor.

Doesn't it sound simular.

So slowly but surely our Republican controlled Senate, House and President is taking away a woman's right to chose what she wants with her body. It started in South Dakota and Lousiana with the ban on all abortions there now the Senate passed a bill which Bush will no doubt sign where you can't travel across state lines to get abortions. Slowly but surely they are going to get rid of it.

Another One

So according to him anyone who believes in Global Warming is a Nazi. Funny coming from what the commander in chief is. I just need to go outside to see that global warming IS currently happening. It's been 119 plus humidity which we don't really get here in Southern California.

But the right doesn't generalize do they??

The Fundamental Difference

One last time here is the fundamental difference between Robert and myself. According to Robert I can't generalize about conservatives but it's ok with Robert that enemies of the people like Ann Coulter can generalize about liberals by saying like she did on the 700 Club "I think I would have noticed if somebody called me godless. But I really haven't heard people protest about that. No, they're upset about what I say about the Jersey Girls. But, oh, yeah, OK, we're all godless. So I think we all are on record now, officially liberals have admitted they are godless and don't even mind it. Maybe they are saying who-less. And as for their attempts to win believers over, they know they need the votes of Christians and you always hear them talking about how, "Gosh, how do we get the believer vote?" Or it's ok for Steve Gil to generalize the left when he said (also on mediamaters) the left being willing to even align themselves with terrorists because, well, Bush is against the terrorists, so we must be with them.

Or Bill O'Reilly to say You have a very big split in the Jewish-American community. You got a lot of Jewish liberals, a lot of Jewish far-left people, who basically feel that, you know, you don't have a right to go after terrorists because it's our fault, the United States' fault. And some say it's Israel's fault because we've been mean to them, therefore they have a right to do whatever they want -- behead people on camera, all this terrible stuff. OK? That's a far-left position.

That's ok for conservatives to make baseless charges against liberals but when things are turned around conservatives whine and cry like the little babies they are. The right says only the left attack but yet when I listen to liberal shows I don't hear any yet if you look at my site you see how the right is brutally attacking the left on every corner. As usual the denial and blame is misplaced.

Where's the outrage?

Just wondering why people aren't upset at our Gov. Schwarzenegger? I remember DEMOCRATIC Gov. Gray Davis recall effort began when we had to have rolling blackouts after being blackmailed by Halliburton yet we are having rolling blackouts now and I hear nothing. No outrage. No recall demands. Just wondering where the anger is.

Facts Wrong Again

So Bill O'Idiots column in today's Los Angeles Daily News as usual in his attack on the left (by the way I guess I'm not allowed to respond to the rights continuous attacks on my views according to Robert I'm supposed to take it).

Today he talks about how the Muslims hate all people except their own religion. That is not true with most Muslims. Bill O'Idiot is generalizing. What Bill O'Idiot likes to have us believe is that all Muslims hate the United States. Nice generalization but I would like to know how he knows.

Now the one thing I will never in my life understand is in Palestine why they are upset at only Israel. If I recall my history the original country of Palestine was supposed to include parts of Egypt,Israel, and Syria but yet Israel is the direction they spread their hatred toward.

Maybe someone can explain that to me I know I can't explain Bill O'Idiot.

Now obviously that does exist I would be stupid to think that but I know and have seen how it exists more toward minorities. I've seen it happen. And you know it's wrong on every level. But the fact is now the Bush adminstration is focusing on descrmination on the Christian Religion instead of all people,races.

That's wrong.

An Embarassment

So let's take a look at Bush's week at the G8: He drops the "S" bomb to Tony Blair not realizing (or maybe realizing you never know with him). Then he goes to the German Chancellor and gives her an unwarrented back rub (which if any of normal people would do that that would be sexual harrassment)he does a speech about a pig during the week.

He has got to be the most embarassing president in history. The leader of the conservative party.

End of an Era

Ladies and gentlemen I'd like to report the end of an era on my website. You all know the main antagonist on my website is Robert Wilson. He is the bad cop (conservative) to my good cop (liberal). He is apparently upset when I continuously call the right-wing racists even though I offer facts to prove me right and he offers no facts to prove me wrong.

To me when Bill O'Idiot says like he did yesterday when he said jewish liberals want to see behadings when he said previously how if you don't like Christianity go to Israel as he's said and so many others or like Glen Beck who said you can abort every black baby and the crime rate would go down or I have quoted Rush and Princess Ann and even this one from Michael Savage who said "the American Left is the Nazi's of our time". I have so many quotes from my archives as well.

Now I also belive this goes to the White House. Again looking at their actions with Katrina. And the fact his cabinet staff said (the quote is in my archives) said New Orleans is going to be "whiter" when it's rebuilt. And mind you while Katrina was killing thousands of people in New Orleans Bush was in San Diego playing guitar. And we can continue about the rights insistance on a gay marriage ban which further shows racism.

Now I believe in words and actions and those actions and words I feel prove me right more then they prove me wrong. But again according to my friend Robert I cannot say anything to that effect yet he offers no reasons why. He has many times claimed all the left does is attack and yet ignores what the right does. But that doesn't stop me from allowing him to post what he thinks and what he wants.

Now the problem. On his website http://purdrivel.blogspot.com he did the following post: have removed the link to Erik's site due to a particularly offensive, and ridiculous ad hominem remark he made today, July 20. 2006. He basically stated that all conservatives are racists. Speaking as one of the 99% of conservatives who aren't racists, I won't endorse or contribute to Erik's site until there is an apology to the vast majority of us conservatives who aren't racist.

First off a response: I'm not apologizing for stating facts. I will not apologize for saying the truth and I will not apologize for calling conservatives racists WHEN THEY ARE! Robert can look the other way in face of the facts but he is in denial. And if you want more proof how come it was so hard to get the voters rights act renewed? You would think that would be a slam dunk but it wasn't. The only party who voted against it was a few southern republicans. No democrats.

So Robert even though you will be a hipocrite you are always free to post here. I will always support your website http://purdrivel.blogspot.com and Robert if you have proof I'm wrong feel free to prove it I am all ears and will be the first to apologize if I am. But again when I see their actions and hear their words they prove me right and if you don't like it that's not my problem and keep in mind you started your website cause of mine so in a way I inspired you for your website.

Just remember you are always free to agree and disagree with me. You are always free to post what you think and you are always free to say (as long as it's clean because I don't want the censor police on me) what you wish. If You didn't know

It's funny how it's ok if you are a conservative how it's ok for you to be openly racist AS THEY ALL ARE. You want another example is my favorite Bill O'Idiot. I'd like to give a quote from his show on July 18th Courtesy of mediamaters:

I've never heard anyone on the left say they should behead people on tv in fact the only people I hear advocating that are PEOPLE LIKE BILL O'IDIOT who recently said things like "they should shoot people right between the eyes who violate curfew" and "we should run the country like Saddam did". So as usual he is a hipocrite and a liar.

What else is new.

Bush's First Veto

I'm a little confused on something. Bush is going to use his first veto on embryonic stem cell research because he thinks embryos are "people" which they are not. But he calls it "murder".

So what is in Iraq that he is responsible for? I mean if killing embryos is murder what about actual people? What about actual deaths in Iraq which he is directly responsible for killing? What is the difference?

Mind you if the embryonic cell are not used for research they would simply be discarded and not used for anything. Just to remind you.

Terrorist

So last week the New York Times building in New York was evacuated because someone sent a letter containing a white powder was opened. Thakfully the powder turned out to be cornstarch. Now I think this is a result how the right wing media just down and out hates the New York Times and how since there are a lot of sick freaks on the right someone followed up trying to scare them.

This is a direct result of the hate of sick idiots like O'Reilly and Coulter etc. who have said the New York Times should be destroyed. Look in my archives for proof.

10 Years ago

Ten years ago I was visiting New York City with my mom and dad and the news broke in with a plane going down in Long Island Sound. 10 years later there are still questions about the story. TWA flight 800 from New York to Paris crashed. 230 people died.

The official word was it was a malfunction in the plane but in 1998 I lived on Long Island and talked to a few people about that night who was on boats on the Long Island Sound. All those people said they saw something fly up toward the plane then it exploded in a possible terror attack.

Another story I hear is the Navy was conducting excercises (sorry if the spelling was wrong) and perhaps a missle picked up the heat signatures of the plane.

I guess this is one of the things we might never know the full story. Unless you believe the official version.
