In yesterday's USA TODAY they had a point counterpoint segment where the argument was made for and against Rep. Ellison's use of the Koran in his PRIVATE swearing in ceremony tomorrow.
The counterpoint was made by Virgil Goode. Yes that Virgil Goode who bashed Ellison mercilessly for choosing to be sworn by his religion in private instead of something he doesn't believe in.
Now Goode may be a proud Christian and if that's what he feels and thinks that's his business I will never argue with that. Where I differ with him and anyone with any religion is when they force it on people like Goode is doing. Religion should be upto that individual and no one else.

And another thing if you read the story I gave he goes into a thing about illegal immigration especially from muslims since he feels they are all terrorists apparently and I have said this so many times and I will continue to say this:
The ONLY WAY TO STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS TO ARREST,SEVERLY FINE,OR CLOSE BUSINESSES THAT HIRE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS!
