You know how I always talk about how hypocritical the right is and this furthers my point. A soldier is being investigated for wearing uniforms during anti-war protests in March in Washington D.C.
Now how that is hypocritical is how come they don't investigate soldiers who appear with George Bush and any Republican that uses them for props as they do?

You've apparently forgotten (and I know I reminded you recently) that George Bush is Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States. It is completely appropriate for a veteran to wear the uniform in the presence of his former Commander in Chief.
As for other Republicans, then it depends on a few things.
NO it's ILLEGAL. It VIOLATES THE PENTAGONS RULES AS SOLDIERS BEING USED AS PROPS BY POLITIANS AS BUSH DOES. I have a previous post that lists the exact rule.
Or are you quoting Richard Nixon when he said if the President does it it's not illegal.
First of all, are we talking about soldiers or veterans?
I think that soldiers are required to always be in uniform when they are out in public. That's why, you see them in uniform, even when on leave.
For veterans, it depends the situation. If they are being shown for political gains, then you are correct. If it's some kind of service to honor them, they can wear the uniform.
Again look in my archives it has the exact law Bush is breaking time and time again. I guess we can add up the list.
