More Right Hypocrisy

So William Jefferson (D,LA.) was indicted for Federal Corruption charges. I say he should go. As I always talk about Republicans who are under indictment there is no special treatment from me regarding any government official on either side of the isle.

However here is where the right is, as always, being hypocrites: John Boener, House Minority Leader is moving to have Jefferson expelled from Congress which while that is fine here is him after Tom DeLay was indicted for the SAME THING:

The country owes Tom a great debt of gratitude for helping lead America in a new direction — a direction outlined in the Contract with America that saw balanced budgets, historic welfare reforms, lower taxes, regulatory relief, and a renewed respect for the sanctity of life.

He has served our nation with integrity and honor, and I’m honored to call him my colleague and friend.
