Bill Frist

So Bill Frist is backing the stem cell bill after all. Good for him this is the same person who claimed after viewing a video tape of Terry Schaivo saying she was able recognize what was going on.

I actually think stem cell research has a lot of potential. I don't feel it's taking lives of humans as George and several others do. The cells that would be used for research (if I understand this right) would actually be discarded if they were not used.

But back to Bill Frist you know this is only cause he wants to run for President in 2008 and thinks this will help him even though the past several elections has shown the american public will not tend to vote for Senators/Congressmen but prefer to vote for Governors (see current Bush,Clinton,first Bush, Reagan).

But to give credit I do applaud him for backing this bill I hope others follow suit. A lot of potential good can come from this.
