London Bombings

Ladies and Gentlemen a tragedy happened in London, England 1 day after finding out they would be hosting the 2012 Summer Olympics as terrorists attacked the subway trains and a double-decker bus killing (as of now) 37 people and injuring over 700 people.

This is a direct result of the failed war on terror because if a dent was being made, this might not of happened if Bush spent as much time and money fighting Al Queda and finding Osama Bin Laden as he has in Iraq.

This was preventable and Mr. Bush blew it again. 37 more people dead due to that. Remember that you who drink his kool-aid

The following occurances are directly George Bush's fault:

Hurricanes in the souteast
Wildfires in the west
The NHL strike
This summers box office slump
Mad Cow disease

Let's just blame everything on Bush. It doesn't solve anything, but it makes us all feel a lot better.

hurricaines yes wildfires no NHL strike no Box Office slump hell no, mad cow disease no. I say Hurricaines yes cause I say the changes in the global pattern are a direct result of his lack of acknowledgement and no policies toward global warming and the increase of hurricaines are I think a direct result of his ignoring the problem.

What's really funny is that while I was writing my first response, I joked to myself that you would actually use that very reasoning and actually blame the hurricanes and fires on Bush. I may be getting on in years but I swear I can remember hurricanes and fires before Bush.

I guess I should have blamed the '93 Malibu fires and the '94 Northridge earthquake on Clinton. What was I thinking?

tell me my friend when was the last time this many hurricaines hit the United States?? There has never been 4 named storms this early and never been one so powerful to hit the Florida panhandle this early EVER. This is a result of Global Warming and the policies or should I say lacking policies this administration has toward it.

There are so many things wrong with your reasoning, I don't know where to start. Weather patterns and climactic data is measured in centuries, or even millennia. weather data in the U.S. has only been measured with any consistancy and accuracy since the late 1800's. Any statistician would know 120 years or so in this context is not nearly a large enough sample set to draw any conclusions. To use words like "EVER" indicates how willing you are to go to any means to show your point. Your statement "There has never been 4 named storms this early and never been one so powerful to hit the Florida panhandle this early EVER." is akin to reasoning that since California had 4 moderate to large earthquakes in June, we should be concerned because no other month in 2005 had nearly that many.

If Gore had been elected, these same hurricanes would have hit. BELIEVE IT!

Basically, today's environmental sins (there are many, I just don't blame Bush for them, I blame the whole human race) will not show up in the weather this year or next. They take time. How much and to what extent is yet to be determined.

If Gore or Kerry had been elected and those hurricaines hit you on the right would be screaming bloody murder, calling either a sham of an environmentalist and asking for him to resign. YOu would claim either has done nothing for global warming and is soft on the environment is I am stating about Bush. That's what would happen

I'm going to end my part of this discussion by just commenting on your statement "YOu would claim either has done nothing for global warming and is soft on the environment..."

"I" would not make such a claim. Don't put words in my mouth.

YOu on the right. That's you. You sick demented psychopaths who, even though you have the president, control the house and senate, and the media still take no responsibility for the current problems of the world. That's you!
