Schwarzenegger

Ahh where to begin with our fine Gov. Ok mine as well start from the beginning. Ahe fter the overthrow of Gov. Davis from the recall election on 2003, Schwarzenegger claimed he wouldn't take a salary cause he has money (http://www.arnoldwatch.org) and doesn't need it.

Shortly after he signed a contract with American Media to be a part of two magazines, Muscle and Fitness and Flex. If I recall he was supposed to be an editor or something. A bill came by his desk which he vetoed that would regulate suplements. If you look at the magazines as I have(for research purposes since I'm not exactly in the best of shape) there are dozens of advertisments of these supliments in them. Stuff that was to be regulated.

Now even though our Gov. has stated he didn't want a salary it now turns out from the contract he signed he has earned at least $1 million dollars from them (some reports state $8 million) which to me is a conflict of interest cause the magazines make their money from the advertisments and if the suplements(which really are steroids something the Gov. states he's freely and happily used) and then he vetoed the bill.

Also since the court struck down the main reason for the special election which his redistricting plan that would swing the state more toward a red state instead of a blue state I understand he is still going ahead with the $70 million of taxpayer money special election. Gov. Davis got recalled for messing up the state why isn't there an outcry on what Schwarzenegger is doing??
