Just wondering if anyone thinks this theory is plausible: I've always had a theory that one earthquake in one part of the world can trigger others. Two recent examples:
Last week there was a big earthquake in Japan and a couple of days later there was a quake in the San Francisco Bay area which was smaller.
Yesterday there was a big earthquake in Indonesia and at 1 am there was a 4.6 quake centered here in Chatsworth. Again I'm not a huge fan of coincidence and those are the two most recent examples.
Also why does it seem that earthquakes lately always seem to happen in the middle of the night?
