Here we go

So North Korea failed to successfully launch by reports. This is scary. What's more scary is the fact we have no leverage with North Korea. Their people are starving and their leader Kim Jong II has told Bush what he could do with himself. I have no doubt Bush will use our nuclear weapons against him which is the last thing we all need. If we invade North Korea China I think has to defend North Korea which is something we don't want. Nuclear War is something that would wipe out the population of the world. This is a disaster.

North Korea is most likely trying to make a statement. They would have nothing to gain and everything (and I mean everything) to lose if they were to actually nuke us.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Bush will use our nuclear weapons against him". If you mean as a retalliation to a nuclear attack by North Korea, then I say absolutely. If you mean a pre-emptive attack. I say you are flat wrong!

Bush would go first strike. That's what I meant. Any nuclear attack would destroy the world. That might be what Bush wants (looking at unwarrented invasion of Iraq) but sane people don't.

Okay, let's get this straight; Bush pre-emptively strikes North Korea. China, in retalliation launches a massive nuclear strike that destroys every man, woman, and child in the U.S. except for Bush and Cheney and 50 women who hide in a deep underground bunker. The U.S., before it gets anhiliated, manages to launch it's missiles and destroys North Korea and China. Unfortunately some of the bombs and fallout hit Russia, causing it to launch a strike of its own. Russia is fearful of NATO retalliation so it destroys all of Europe, Canada, South America, and Australia. That would leave Africa as the lone continent where the human race endures.

So much for Bush being anti-black.

I wonder though. How this would affect Halliburton's business now that all of its customers have been blown away?

Maybe, you had better re-think your statement, Erik. It seems to contradict some things you and other liberals have been saying. Of course, if you are right and I am wrong. I'll apologize to you in the afterlife.

Let's take a look. We attack North Korea (which I think would be wise to use our troops there) I think China has to defend North Korea as we have to defend Taiwan if they are attacked. I say no one in their right mind (which leaves Bush out) wants to use nuclear weapons but if we use one the gloves will be off. No sane person (which again leaves Bush out) wants a nuclear war. I hope I'm wrong and diplomacy takes over but with the yahoo in the White HOuse nothing would suprise me. But again if I'm wrong and you are right I will be the one who apologizes. And it's obvious you have never learned of the effects of a nuclear blast even if none hits the United States on the enviorment.

It sounds like you would support sending troops to North Korea. This would be inviting nuclear war. Is that what you want? Who has the "right mind" here?

I want the United States protected from an imminent threat. IRaq was no threat that's why I'm against that war. Afghanstan was harboring Osama Bin Laden (remember him?? Bush doesn't) so I support that at that time North Korea is the biggest threat (In my view). I DO NOT want ANY nuclear detonation under ANY circumstance.
