A good idea?

In yet another genius move by the Bush Administration http://www.thinkprogress.org/
they have outsourced the operation of 6 ports (New York,New Jersey, Baltimore, New Orleans, Miami and Philadelphia to the United Arab Emerets.

Just a few facts about them:

– The UAE was one of three countries in the world to recognize the Taliban as the legitimate government of Afghanistan.

– The UAE has been a key transfer point for illegal shipments of nuclear components to Iran, North Korea and Lybia.

– According to the FBI, money was transferred to the 9/11 hijackers through the UAE banking system.

– After 9/11, the Treasury Department reported that the UAE was not cooperating in efforts to track down Osama Bin Laden’s bank accounts.

So at least according to me, it would seem that this might actually lead to more terrorists in this country but maybe that's what Bush wants. Maybe he wants another attack here so he can show he's doing something cause he failed so miserably on 9/11 and he failed so miserably in getting the person responsible for 9/11 (Osama, not Saddam). I hope I'm wrong on that statement but why else would you help them?
