The mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villarigosa wants to extend our subway from downtown Los Angeles to the Santa Monica area at a cost of approx $4.8 Billion dollars. A good idea I use the subway as often as possible not sure how it's fairing otherwise but if it would help to ease our disasterous traffic situation here.
I have a couple of questions though: Why didn't he extend the subway in the San Fernando Valley out to where I live instead of that stupid busway and if he builds it to the sea from downtown would it be extended after that? Like say either north to Malibu or south to LAX?
