Huh??

http://www.rawstory.com/exclusives/ad_campaign_093001.htm

You really gotta love the gun psychos on this one. There is an add going around cities in the United States and the United Kingdom talking about the gun law that was signed in Florida where basically it's legal to shoot someone if you feel "anyone they feel threatens their safety." Which is rediculous in itself but there is one better.

Basically the add is warning people who visit Florida about that law. However in their infinate wisdom the following group called The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said the add was "compared an ad campaign targeting a Florida law to an act of terrorism" and These rabid anti-freedom zealots are ... essentially telling British subjects not to come here because legally-armed American citizens cannot be trusted, and might murder them. The Brady camp simply cannot bring itself to admit that America is safer because its citizens retain and exercise their firearm civil rights."

Now I understand the right to bear arms but as the right likes to refer to the constitutional amendment regarding that it is always forgotten that when our founding fathers wrote that, they were refering to muskets and not machine guns. My problem is there are too many irresponsible people out there with guns who intend to use them for death and destruction.

With this rediculous law though in Florida I mean think about it, you can be walking on the sidewalk someone can just come up to you and shoot you just because they can claim you were a threat. That is crazy.
