On the backs of poor people

So let me see if I can understand this. Katrina hit,Rita hit, we are at war in Iraq and instead of say repealing say tax cuts for the weathy or say eliminating pork from the recently passed energy and highway bills (like say the bridge to nowhere in Alaska) Congress and Senate are planning on slashing in programs for the poor by $574 million and subsidies and conservation programs by $1 billion each.

So as usual the poor has to pay instead of the wealthy. And you don't seem to think the administration and congress and senate is bias against the poor??
