Big Silence

Has anyone noticed a big silence from the media the past 10 days or so?? A big silence covering two issues: Karl Rove and John Roberts.

If the media is so left as the right likes to claim, I would think they would be continuously talking about it as they did with every Bill Clinton news that broke out but yet again nothing.

No news, no information never mind Rove has committed treason by giving the name of a covert operative, nevermind there has been little out except that his wife is part of an anti-abortion group and he while he has claimed he would not overturn Roe V Wade his view suggest otherwise, yet hardly a mention about that.

Yet it's a liberal media.

Concerning Karl Rove, what are you expecting to hear/read about? A few weeks ago, it seemed that every other word uttered by journalists was "Rove". The story may have simmered down some since but it's going to pop back up. I did a quick search on a few news sites and they are full of negative articles concerning Karl Rove. Look here:

MSNBC CNN

(The following assumes you were referring to John Roberts, not Karl Rove in the Roe vs. Wade comment)

You know Erik, Roberts' personal opinions about issues such as Roe vs. Wade have no place in his acceptance as a Supreme Court Justice. Justices are supposed to be selected on the basis on knowledge of the law and the ability to objectively make decisions. No justice should ever reveal their personal views of these kind of issues.

Their personal views are going to affect the choices they make when cases come to them. They say they don't but realistically they do.

ONe more thing it always bugs me Robert when you say I can't blame Bush remember the saying the Buck stops here?? Bush is the leader and deserves blame and credit when things go right and wrong in this country.

I am expecting the same treatment of Rove as a democrat would get. Which would be a lynching. You know that again remember the continous converage Clinton got for doing a lot less then Rove has done?

I guess that makes you a totalitarinist, then.

No it makes me want Bush to help PEOPLE. The people who chose him to lead. Which the only thing he's lead is almost 1900 or so soldiers to their deaths.

One more thing with jobs I saw a report today 290,000 jobs LOST under the Bush administration.

I wonder how many jobs were found. Under Bush, the glass is always half empty, isn't it?
