Hurricaines and Oil Prices

First off to all the people in the path of Katrina I wish you nothing but being safe and surviving this enormous storm. If you are told to evacuate get out. Everytime I've heard people interviewed they said the biggest mistake they made was staying so please take this storm seriously and evacuate if told.

I'd like to talk about what Katrina might do to our oil prices if it stays on her present course.

There was a movie at the beginning of the summer on the FX network called oil storm. It was about a fictional oil crisis that hits the United States. The first phase is a hurricaine that knocks out the oil pipeline in Louisiana. Which causes the price of oil to rise to about $4.00 per gallon.

Back to reality if Katrina continues to strengthen and hits Louisiana where the weather forcasters say it will the real oil crisis might begin.

Start saving your money.
