History Lesson

In today's Los Angeles Times they have a history on sports here in Los Angeles. Just amazing our history. We are so blessed here in terms of our sports teams.

Let's take a look. We have the most storried College Football program in USC the most storried College Basketball program in UCLA. We have the Dodgers, the Lakers, the Angels, the Kings. (oh yeah the Clippers are finally playing well too).

We have the best Baseball play-by-play man in Vin Scully,we had Ross Porter, we had (RIP) the best Basketball announcer in Chick Hearn, Bob Miller of the Kings.

We've hosted two Olympics games. We've won many many championships. So much great talent has passed through here it's really amazing if you take a look at it.

Troy Aikman, Carson Palmer, Ronnie Lott, Lynn Swann, Marcus Allen, Wilt Chamberlin, Magic Johnson, Nolan Ryan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Steve Garvey, Mike Piazza, Rod Carew, Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, Jerry West, Bill Walton, Kirk Gibson, Wayne Gretzky, Luc Robitaille, so many names so much history.

Just remember to appreciate our past cause we have one to be proud of.

I'm a big King's fan but honestly, when talking about storied histories, they are not up there with the other teams you mentioned.

By the way, I'm a little surprised you mentioned USC's football program so favorably. :)

Rule a: call a spade a spade just because I don't like them much doesn't mean I don't respect them.

At least I didn't mention the killer for USC (you know who I mean)
