First off to give a little bit of credit to W. to give at least some of the responsibility to habitat for humanity to rebuild New Orleans last night. I've always said when he deserves it he will get credit from me.
I have posted this previously that I think one possible idea to help instead of just passing this on to our already huge deficit would be to remove the pork that was passed in the highway and energy bills. That would bring in close to $500,000,000 which would be a lot toward the rebuilding of the area devastated by the hurricane.
