Max Boot

Max Boot has a weekly column in the Los Angeles Times. Basically the theme of his column is this slow response was not Bush's fault and there is no such thing as global warming and the reason why the response was slow was cause New Orleans is a mostly black city.

Now let's take a look. Louisiana has a democratic Gov. and a Democratic mayor in New Orleans. New Orleans because in part of Bush has to be abandoned. The response was slow to get in and is very slow in responding to resue people who are trapped in their homes.

Now with Global Warming he says Katrina has nothing to do with it. The fact is we have been considerably more hurricane's and storms. We just had Ophellia which correct me if I'm wrong is the 15th named storm of the year. Storms are becomming more intense and more frequent and that is a direct result of global warming.

And more proof of Boot's ignorance and failure to produce facts is in Mississippi, a red state, they already have power back as well as water.
