I read a letter in yesterdays Los Angeles Daily News. The letter writer was from Thousand Oaks and said how when hurricane Andrew slammed Florida in 1992 FEMA was slow to respond and no one blamed President Clinton. Yes she said President Clinton.
Well I realize the pure hatred republicans had for Bill Clinton but if the letter writer had a brain she would have realized that in August of 1992 Bill Clinton wasn't even President during that time. It was Bush Sr. and the fact that people said that FEMA being slow to respond to Andrew had a lot to do with him not being re-elected President.
If you want to make statments at least learn the correct history.

I haven't read the letter but if it's as you state, it was a stupid comment. If this person is not representing a political group, she is just a misinformed individual and doesn't speak for anybody but herself. It is unfair to make general statements about the whole Republican party based on what this one person wrote.
I stated that because republicans in general have such a dislike for Bill Clinton they will not miss an opportunity to bash him in some way.
